        I’d posted next door some years back that when I was posting on a Brit blog a few years back I used the term ‘Paki’ when referring bto the ISI, i.e. the ‘Paki ISI’. We used the term as shorthand frequently along with ‘Brit’, Aussie, etc. Suddenly this notice pops up that I’ve used an unacceptable racist term and I must cease to do so immnediately or suffer the penalty of having to eat Brit standard food for two weeks.
        OK, a bit of a stretch, but they had software that monitored words being used in postings to catch malefactors. Makes me wonder if some mind-minder who wanders across this blog while munching on some of that famous Brit boiled beige food might file a complaint as s/he/it/whatever-the-**** finds a term unacceptable, files a complaint and the World Court issues an arrest warrant for ‘Thinking Like a Freee American’. Could use that Interpol unit Obama ensconced in DC and gave diplomatic status to.

          FB routinely makes my posts go away without any notice. I’ve started noticing they disappear after someone comments and it seems to be related to certain words.

          Now they’ve also started this policy of not allowing animal sales on groups. People though figure out how to get around that, just don’t put dog, cow, chicken, goat, etc. in the subject line and post pictures in the comments.

          The funniest thing though is when FB told me I posted something against their rules. I had shared a video of a black guy ranting how he was going to kill all the whites and he had titled the post “This N….r will kill you white b……s!” I did not write anything, just shared it, but the N word was bad. Yet you could go to the guys page and his video was still up.

              There was an idiot I heard about on the news that recorded his crime on FB live. When he was caught he asked how they knew it was him if the criminal had a mask on. They told him because he went live on his FB.
              Now if he had been a smart criminal, which he wasn’t since he went live, but he would have argued someone hacked his page.

              I see FB as a double edged sword, I like it for the ease of sharing pictures between family and friends. For business it’s almost a must anymore, due to so many people who look on FB instead of yellow pages. Then it also gives free reign to the crazies of the world and of course the worst part it’s ran by commies.

                    It’s been awhile back so I can’t remember where I read it now, but there was a deer story that cracked me up.
                    One of these crackpots decided to somehow lure the deer away. I don’t really know what they were thinking, but they ended up in the middle of two bucks. They should be grateful that hunters don’t hold grudges because a hunter ended up saving their life.

                    Around our parts a few years back we had one who started this campaign about taking pictures of the wildlife not selfies with the wildlife. She honestly thought that was going to be a profitable business selling pictures of wildlife to hunters and as an added bonus the beautiful pictures would make them somehow not want to kill and eat the wildlife.
                    She didn’t do her homework and managed to get between a doe and her fawn. She ended up in the hospital, but was saved by a redneck who had came to tend to his food plot, Yep, she was also trespassing on his land, which he forgave her for.

                    It always makes me laugh when they find out they are wild animals and not Bambi.

                    These crazies are vegans, they don’t want you killing cattle either. There are pictures on their page of farm kids doing normal farm stuff that they also call abusers and murderers.

                    I got a response from FB saying the page or the post didn’t violate their community standards and asked if there was anything they could do better.

                    I send them a reply back and said:

                    I guess FB community standards allow pictures to be stolen of children and then to call children murderers and serial killers.
                    Crazy propaganda should leave children out of it and it’s common knowledge people spreading this kind of propaganda feeds on mentally unstable people who won’t stop with comments on a post.
                    It’s doubtful these kids they are using parents have any idea they’ve stolen their pictures. They will probably on discover it after crazies track them down and start harassing and threatening them and then FB can share in the blame when it happens.
                    If one hair on those little boys’ heads is harmed FB will be an accomplice.
                    If that time comes and I find out about it I will show the families and their attorneys the screenshots of FB knew and did nothing.
                    So can they do better, yeah they can stop sick people from using children in their propaganda.

                    I almost never report anything on FB, but I did this post and the page. They are stealing pictures of children posing with game and working on farms and then putting them on that page. Calling them murderers, serial killers and animal abusers.
                    Nuts on that page are likely to try and find these families.

                    I got everyone on my friends list to report the page and post, hopefully it will cause them to be offline for a short while.

            A girl a year ahead of me spent a school year in Israel as a foreign exchange student, then later talked to our class about the experience. At one point, she screwed up her face and said in a pained way, “They usually have fish for breakfast”, which, to our Iowa ears sounded awful at the time. No ham, bacon, sausage???? Fish was for the deprivations of Friday.
            But now lox and bagels is one of my favorite breakfasts. 🙂
            A Jewish friend told me how to make my own gravlox: Get two same sized half pound salmon fillets, put a tablespoonful each of salt and sugar on the cut side of one, lay a sprig of fresh dill on it, fit the other fillet cut side down on top of the first, slide them into a ziplock bag, put it on a plate and put it in the fridge with a brick on top of it. Turn the bag morning and evening for about 3 days. Remove skin, slice thin with a very sharp knife and serve.
            I’ve used dried herbs, garlic, and fresh ginger instead of dill for variety, and usually substitute avocado for the cream cheese on the bagel.

            I had a Brit grandmother whose fry iup was a bit more working class and modified by having to use ingredients available in a small Connecticut town. Did make me accepting of C-rations and MREs later in life though and I still eat vegetartian baked bean sandwiches on toast. Bit hard to get that bone marrow entree though and marrow spoons are a bit hard to find.

      Interesting how the Wash Post broke the MSM silence on the Clinton’s involvement in the phony Trump/Russia affair and the Uranium One deal. Now I’m seeing preliminary pieces in the MSM almost as if they can see the investigations ending badly for Billary and don’t want to be caught out in the cold when the other dozen or so shoes drop.

As Billary floats closer to the drain I see major apologists starting to create distance just in case – they can, if the dumpy duo once again escapes, claim being misled by fake news, make cash donations to the Bank of Billary and all will be forgiven.

            CYA is only incidental for the Washington Post. The real reason for the info leak is to obey their money masters who want Hillary out of the way. They want to move on without her in the picture, bitching and moaning. By moving on I mean so they can introduce their new boy (it won’t be a girl) for 2020. They need to clean up any messes on the books to clear the way.

              No doubt, Hillary’s yesterday’s egg salad, she’s been out on the table too long, they don’t want her muddying up the candidate pool. Problem is that they gotta be sure she won’t have one of those huge blowouts that damage their agenda…she’d better stay away from secluded parks.

    Charles Marion Russell (1864 – 1926), At sixteen, Russell left school and went to Montana to work on a sheep ranch. After that he found work with a hunter and trapper turned rancher. He worked as a cowboy for a number of outfits. Russell was working on a ranch when the foreman received a letter from the owner, asking how the cattle herd had weathered the winter. Instead of a letter, the ranch foreman sent a postcard-sized watercolor Russell had painted of gaunt steer being watched by wolves under a gray winter sky. The ranch owner showed the postcard to friends and business acquaintances and eventually displayed it in a shop window in Helena, Montana. After this, work began to come steadily to the artist.

    Beginning in 1888, Russell spent a period living with the Blood Indians, a branch of the Blackfeet nation. It is believed that much of his intimate knowledge of Native American culture came from this period.
    In 1896, Russell married his wife Nancy, and they moved to Great Falls, where Russell spent most of the rest of his life. Russell continued with his art, becoming a local celebrity and gaining the acclaim of critics worldwide. As Russell was not skilled in marketing his work, Nancy is generally given credit in making Russell an internationally known artist. She set up many shows for Russell throughout the United States and in London. Russell arrived on the art scene when the wild west was being chronicled and sold to the public in many forms, including dime novels, wild west shows, and silent motion pictures. Russell was fond of these art forms and made friends among the well-off collectors of his works, including Will Rogers and Douglas Fairbanks. On the day of Russell’s funeral in 1926, all the children in Great Falls were released from school to watch the funeral procession.
    Russell was also a storyteller and author. He produced about 4000 works of art, including oil and watercolor paintings, drawings and sculptures in wax, clay, plaster and other materials, some of which were also cast in bronze. Russell’s mural entitled Lewis and Clark Meeting the Flathead Indians hangs in the state capitol building in Helena, Montana. Russell’s 1918 painting Piegans sold for 5.6 million dollars at a 2005 auction.

      Top story on our local news. Working assigned details at fund raisers I had the privilege of meeting Antoine along with other NOLA music icons. One of the last big-time, old-line musicians whose life wasn’t X-rated. RIP, Fats.

    Oh, and Corey Feldman is crowdfunding for a legal team so he can take down the Hollywood Cheese Pizza network that he knows intimately, was just arrested the other day for weed posession. That is fact and was reported in several outlets. Then he was, according to him, almost run down by two SUVs/Trucks, while walking through a crosswalk. He’s afraid for his life, and that of his family. Justifiably.

        Excellent article with amazing insights into Zappa early on.

        I always figured Frank was counter-counter-culture. He wouldn’t even allow his band members to do drugs. Think Ted Nugent’s band. One of Nuge’s albums had the band posing with their wives on the back cover — totally not-cool back then, in that culture. Rock stars are supposed to be available and obviously so in all imagery.

        In the culture, but not of it. That’s how I see Mumford & Sons, and several other modern bands. I didn’t know any of that about Zappa’s dad.

        Laurel Canyon is a winding road. It was likely a coincidence that trucks/SUVs were being driven recklessly, as locals aren’t known for their circumspection. But, Corey could be right and it never pays to let up your guard when billions are at stake.

          Read the book John Denney linked above. Laurel Canyon is the belly of the beast, and has been since the 19-teens. So much coincidence in that small area.

          “Statistically speaking, if you were a famous actor in the 1920s, you would have been better off playing a round of Russian Roulette than living in Laurel Canyon.”

        John, I don’t know how you found this, but thank you. It’s not an article, but a book. I’m just now about halfway through. One of the most fascinating histories I’ve read in quite a while. One of those things you can’t put down, once you start reading it.

    At this point, it looks like the only thing we can be absolutely certain of is that the FBI is lying to us.

    They’re lying in the Las Vegas shooting investigation, they lied in the Russian vote influence scandal, they paid for fake research against a campaign using foreigners to undermine an election, and they used their own paid-for fake research to illegally spy on a campaign.

    At this point, is there any reason left not to declare every single remaining FBI agent and employee an enemy of the United States, an enemy of truth, liberty, justice, free speech, free expression, and democracy?

    I wish a reporter would ask the next FBI press person that last question, in all earnestness, and append, “Can you justify the existence of the FBI, after all these decades?”

    Lord, we ask for a blanket of protection over all our troops and law enforcement who serve to defend and protect us. Bless our representatives with the strength and wisdom they need to achieve the path You have chosen for us.

    I went to see Geostorm today. Even with earplugs (I can’t even be in a theater without them) it was way too loud. There was a brother to brother story that seemed pretty contrived and a little sappy in my mind, and I even got a little tired of it before the movie ended. Lots of Hollywood stuff , although the obligatory sex scene ended pretty quickly, and the whole “let’s all get along” globalist schtick was pretty pervasive through the whole lonnnnng movie.

    However, on the brighter side, if you like to see huge cities completely destroyed and all kinds of things blown up, this might be the movie for you.
