      Morning Lucille 🙂
      Such a bright, happy post!
It is also a very wise post. If these people complaining of how awful the US is had gratitude & understanding for what others in the past had sacrificed to improve this country, maybe then they would realize they have to stop whining, and actually SACRIFICE, & DO something to improve the situation.[1]
I also shake my head at the crazy borrowed guilt/cultural appropriation of some white students who put themselves in chains and sit around, rather than actively helping the people they say are oppressed – that would be too hard. I find it odd they scream about cultural appropriation, but have no problem stealing the guilt of someone dead for over 100 years about something they never took part in – but then sitting around in chains is easier than actually helping.
[1] One nfl player said “well it’s not perfect” -so is HE perfect!!! What has he done to help? Overall what is the % crime rate of nfl players to the overall general public?

PS I feel your pain about the foot pain of PF and autoimmune. I have both as well. The PF came about in June from trying to wear bungee cord sneakers that did not fit right. It also inflamed the metatarsals in my feet. The podiatrist wanted to do cortisone injections in my feet, but I said no and did stretches. I then went to a Palmer trained chiropractor who worked on my feet, and that helped a lot. I still can’t stand for long without pain, but otherwise,it is almost gone.

I have had PF since I was a child. My feet were always a problem. I finally got orthotics that helped and the podiatrist told me never to go barefoot (like I did my whole life growing up in Florida). She said to have at least a 1″ heel even on house slippers. Well, eventually I found Vionic shoes. They have the arch built into them and I do very well in the sandals. I also started going to a massage therapist who does reflexology on my legs and I can’t believe the difference since.

        Morning, G&C!

A lot of NFL men of all ethnicities are involved in charities, but only a few of them get really down and personal or participate long-term. It’s more like having fund-raising baseball games or having free autograph signings and much less like personal mentoring and follow-up. The latter takes commitment of time and knowledge of how to be a real man. Frankly, with the poor examples morally and legally a lot of the men display and their lackadaisical attitude toward truth and accuracy, it’s best they NOT get involved in the black communities (where few–if any–of them live in the first place).

Boys at trhe Bureau are racking up a pretty good body count there…they shoulkd institute the Lon Horiuchi Award for Civilian Casualties. Ruby Ridge, Waco, all standouts in the Bureau Body Count Record, just show that when unchecked any agency can become the Gestapo-lite.

If we go back to a 2012 report by the DoJ they pointed out that the Federal government had, in 2008, 120,000 people authorized to carry firearms and make arrests. Even my old USDA had its own police and a SWAT team when I retired. I found it curious that in 2012 the DoJ couldn’t come up with a count more recent than 4 years prior. It did mention that the number of armed Federal officers with arrest powers grew each year between 2004 and 2008 by about 15% so if we presume that those numbers hold today the Feds have one armed LEA officr with arrest powers for each ~2700 people in the US. Couldn’t find any stats (OK, I didn’t look that hard) on the increases from 2008 to date but that sounds like a neat FOI request.

So, citizens, turn in those weapons as once the profusion of guns in this country’s reduced the Feds can cut back on the number of officers and arm their remaining ones with Nerf guns. They promise.

Great morning so far, 48-degrees when I got up, small cold front moved in. Lake absorbed a lotta heat yesterday so, just before dawn when the temp and the wind dtropped, a layer of fog about four feet tall developed all across the waters. Sun came up and shined thru the trees on the east side sending beams of yellowish light thru the fog and making it glow. In all a good morning.

So in relation to Sessions speech about going after ms-13 here are 2 articles:
I was thinking about the Opium wars, and how it affected China, so I did some searches to read up on it, and this popped up.
China Is Fueling a Drug War Against the US
By Joshua Philipp, Epoch Times December 18, 2015
The Chinese regime has become the leading source of synthetic drugs and precursors for drugs like methamphetamine, and a leading source for the weapons used by those in the drug business.
There are more than 150 publicly listed Chinese chemical companies selling the drug alpha-PVP, also known as “flakka,” according to New York Times. Flakka is replacing cocaine use in Florida, and has been the cause of at least 18 deaths and numerous bizarre arrests in the state. These drugs, and many others like them, have a critical feature in common: they, or the otherwise controlled chemicals used to make them, originate in China—and for years Chinese regulators have shown little interest in helping stem the flow.
“The Chinese role is that of a facilitator to Mexican and Latin American organized crime activities,” said Dr. Robert J. Bunker, adjunct research professor at the U.S. Army War College, in an email interview.
The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has found its way into both legitimate and underworld markets in Latin America, according to Bunker. “Combine these with their linkages to pariah regimes in the region, such as Venezuela, and their interactions with Hezbollah and Iranian operatives,” Bunker said, “and we end up with a ‘Star War’s Bar’ type of scenario.”
The CCP’s support of Latin American drug traffickers, however, doesn’t end with just supplying the synthetic drugs and ingredients.
The main source of illegal firearms in Mexico is also China, “through the black market,” according to a report from Dr. R. Evan Ellis, an associate professor of national security studies in the Center for Hemispheric Defense Studies…… article continues. (This is the only article I have read from this site, but it seems sourced well. I don’t know if anyone else is familiar with this site as I am not.)
    http://www.theepochtimes.com/n3/1915904-china-is-supplying-a-drug-war-against-the-united-states/
The second article also relates to continually eroding privacy – now even in the bathroom!
Cell phone data coupled with sewage testing show drug use patterns
By American Chemical Society —— Bio and Archives September 25, 2017
The drugs people inhale, inject or ingest ultimately end up in some form down the toilet. So scientists have started monitoring drug use through sewage-based epidemiology. But this approach hasn’t taken into account the variation in number of people who add to wastewater in a given area at a given time. Now one team reports in ACS’ Environmental Science & Technology a way to account for commutes and vacations: by tracking cell phone signals…. article continues

NK used to be the major meth supplier to Japanese gangs that ran it. At one estimate the NK pharma industry made enough psuedoephedrine for each citizen there to have 5 personal pounds. India and China are picking up the slack as their products can ship directly to the US through regular channels, they don’t have to be routed through more acceptable ports. Let’s face it – if turds HERE ddn’t want the drugs turds THERE wouldn’t be making big bucks selling them.

I’ve posted on the Chinese drug connection many times, especially their ALLEGED connections in supplying the controlled substance the Mexican cartels need to make meth. They mail designer chemicals to your doorstep, changing the chemicals’ structures just enough to avoid their banned versions, it’s a concerted and highly organized effort on the part of mainstream Chinese industry. Geez, wonder where a lot of that Afghhani opium goes????

Tain’t nuttin new, Russia and Bloc countries fed the US drug markets directly and indirectly for decades, Europe too. I remember when a very large shipment of very high grade heroin was very quietly confiscated off of a Russian ship in an EU port…press slid right over that one. Only bright side is that with Russia marketing heroin to the West during its Afghani days the heroin bug came back to bite Russia solidly in the ass and they still have their own big opiod problem. We can only hope the Chinese get bitten by the bug they’re cultivating before their huge new porting facilities in Mexico start flooding us with even more drugs.

Not bragging, but I have a Denon receiver, five cube speakers (one a double, in the middle, right under my monitor), an Asus soundcard that cost $300 or so, and a Polk Audio sub that’s big enough to provide bass to a church. I live in a tiny apartment. It has it’s own volume knob, so I keep it at about 20 percent, otherwise I’d probably break windows, or get Czar called to my location.

I love music, and audio. And funk, and jazz. And blues. And rock. And beatbox.

When they switched over to snapping pictures of your license plate when you cruised through the I-Pass lane my cousin failed to tell me and I ended up with 3 tickets courtesy of the US Postal system. Thankfully it wasn’t when I was making frequent trips to Chi Town.

I also got a ticket in Chi Town courtesy USPS for making a left turn on a red. Well there is no arrow and it is a five corner light so there is no way anyone can make a left on a green light because traffic is too heavy.

After the left turn ticket I started taking the train into Chicago, I figure any money I can keep out of the coffers of Chicago is good thing.

Chicago is being sued last I heard, because a defendant by law must be able to confront their accuser and you can’t confront a camera.

I had a WI trooper pull me over, took my license and came back to my car, he didn’t write me a ticket but he told me my not having paid my Chi Town ticket showed up on his computer. I said it was a bogus ticket he said I should just pay it anyhow, (I was speeding and didn’t have my insurance card when he stopped name) because everyone was not as nice as him.

44 states use the Non-Resident Violator Compact to make sure that if you get a ticket outside of the state you live in you’ll pay it…otherwise you won’t be able to renew your licence. It’a a way for states to collect revenue from outsiders and, if a cop’s going to give you a ticket, the option (if he sees a lotta unpaid tickets) a reason to bting you up before a magistrate and instead ‘bond out’ so they gets they monies.
