      My opinion after close to 40 years working in various phases of the film/TV industry…there are countless thousands of women and men who did not or do not give in to untoward advances.

      Predators in “The Industry” rely on indecision, on your complying with initial demands such as a kiss or a grope and then the next demand of going to a hotel room “for a meeting.” There is never a reason to comply if you are repelled by the situation. If a meeting is requested, the actor’s agent should always be involved. If there is one thing women–and men–in the film industry know, your agent is your protector from exploitation. I defy anyone to say they didn’t know that going in.

      Doesn’t matter if you are scared you’ll never work again. A woman has a choice. We don’t have to be fragile little beings who just get so overwhelmed with words and a slight menacing action that you feel you can’t resist. And the choice is not to comply in the first place if you truly care about your own person, about your reputation, about your future as a decent human being. The problem, of course, is made worse by those women and men who have a low self-image in the first place and feel “how bad can it be” to comply.

      Once you do comply, however, with that initial coercion because you’re “scared” or you ignorantly think you’ll actually be OK, getting out of a sexual encounter is extremely difficult if not impossible when you’re involved with a persuasive person. Often people give in because it’s simply easier, not realizing, of course, that the self-disgust of complying has a lasting effect.

      A number of women who complied with Weinstein’s requests/demands, are now outraged. But it has more than a little to do with that self-disgust. One act of compliance leads to another and you soon feel “passed around” knowing also that eventually you’ll also be “passed over.”

      It’s despicable, it’s unfair, and has happened from the beginning because for many, career opportunities and the accompanying monetary compensation PLUS the possibility of being famous take precedence over morality. Those who exploit know that. And that’s the bottom line.

      What I find also disturbing now in the light of the Weinstein revelations, is the disparagement of those working in the industry all over the world. The majority are working stiffs who do not exploit, coerce or comply or treat others with a lack of dignity. They have jobs they love. They are the camera operators, the electricians, the set builders, the makeup people, those who are in charge of costumes, the office assistants, the secretaries, the coordinators, the chefs and cooks, the waiters, all the behind-the-scenes workers. They work hard, get their above-average paychecks weekly, and go home to their families and rear their children.

      They see the young with stars in their eyes. You make friends with them and they guide the vulnerable through the hazards. And many of them will remain friends for life.

      There is a lot more to be said…but that’s it for now.

        All those hard working people, for the most part, with all their families and child rearing, and all their skills and what they do, they are working to produce hard-left, anti-Christ, Communist propaganda as the final product. For the most part.

        That’s most of this kitchen’s menu, and they’ve 86’ed both reason and godliness.

    And for those (like Kimmel) who draw parallels between Weinstein and President Trump:

    Weinstein’s actions are like the teacher who rapes a cheerleader. What President Trump said is like the guy who brags about what he and his date did on Saturday night. Neither one is particularly nice, but they aren’t alike or comparable.

      Remember back on the campaign trail candidate Trump predicted that Anthony Weiner “a perv” would be part of the downfall of the democratic party, notice that more and more of Hollywood perverts are being exposed. Harvey Weinstein is a big fish, the FBI has its foot in the door with legal access to Harvey’s electronic devices. If Dick Morris has a safety deposit box, President Trump has a vault.

      This isn’t the clip I’m looking for but it will have to do for now.

      Remember Bill Clinton officiated Weiner and Huma’s wedding.

      Remember Weiner was sexting with an underage girl and is going to prison for his behavior.

      Remember Bill Clinton used a subordinate intern, a young women 4 years older than his daughter as a human humidor and to perform oral sex for him in the oval office.

      Remember Jimmy Kimmel had women on the street search his crotch area and try to figure out what was in his pocket, it was a pickle, he even asked a young woman if she wanted to put her mouth on it.

      Remember Ben Afleck asked a reporter why she wasn’t showing more of her “suspiciously firm titties” and groped a make-up artist.

      Remember Barack Obama thrusting his pelvis at women on a plane and them laughing with glee.

      Remember Barack Obama was sending his daughter to intern at the tutelage of Harvey Weinstein.

      Remember who Hillary picked as her VP.

      Sexual perversion seems to be the norm for the males Hillary surrounds herself with.

      Remember John Travolta.

      Remember Maddona either masturbated or simulated masturbation on the altar of Christ.

      Remember Miley Cyrus was a child actor.

      (I really don’t think there is a picture that Stella would not have to slap my hand over featuring Miley’s perversion.)

      These are the people of the democrat hierarchy.

      There is so much more but even typing this out makes me sick.

      Remember the Jackson children.

      Remember Mackenzie Phillips.

      Remember Drew Barrymore was an alcoholic and drug user at the ripe old age of 12.

      Remember Jodie Foster.

      Remember that Ryan O’Neal allegedly was so estranged from his daughter Tatum that he did not recognize her and asked her out on a date.

      Remember Corey Feldman’s words.

The vile filth rolls on and the public forgives and forgets as these people are the cultural version of heroin and regardless of how perverse, destructive and corrosive they are the public can’t do, or refuses to do, without ’em.

Better they should wrestle with him; they have more than one person, if required, the proper equipment, and the practice. Actually, he isn’t very stinky or dirty, but his nails are too long, and a bath will improve his scent.

They couldn’t get her back into one of the cages, etc. So, I didn’t take her back. Finally, I decided to try a groomer who comes to the house (and yes, it is expensive) to groom her in the van out in front. It has worked out beautifully. In fact, when I first got her, she barked at every single human being she saw at all and after the first grooming, she seemed much more comfortable around people. 😕 Don’t know why, don’t care why, just know it is true. But, this works really well for us, even though I can’t get her groomed as often as I would like.

            One of our family dogs, a Boston Terrier, loved water. Our sprinkler was one of those that screwed onto the hose and it looked like a pair of owl eyes. The water flew up and out in a circle. Well, he would always try to stop the water by laying his head down on the two openings and growling loudly.

            My sister and I would play a trick on him and turn the water faucet off and he would stand back with a look of “yay, I stopped it!” Then, we would turn it on and off for a while. He never got tired of it.

            He was such a lovable little guy. He slept in the kitchen in a wood apple crate with an old Army blanket wrapped around him. We had him from the time I was in second grade. But when I was in college, he disappeared from our front yard after Mom let him out for his final peeper before bedtime. He wasn’t one to roam out of our property and after extensive searches and a “lost dog” newspaper notice, he was never found. I’ve always wondered what happened to him.

      Yeah, right, I have an earlier version of an almost identical product that attaches to a shop vac, it’s sitting in the garage gathering dust. I still go by back porch and hose.
      Ours get filthy just like that and we have put just about everything to the test and so far a 5-gallon bucket of water with enough baby shampoo to break the water’s surface tension followed by more baby shampoo or Dawn. If your pup’s got some dog park dust from an urban romp this might work but gumbo mud and/or a long-dead animal roll is gonna take soap and elbow grease.
      How do I know? ‘Cause that’s gonna be my afternoon with the big old fat collie who has three coats of hair and just rolled in a mudhole.

          many years ago in utah we had a trailer hauling steers break open in downtown traffic, cows wuz ever’wahr.
          Most of the responding officers were totally unfamiliar with cows so it was sorta a goat rope. We got one particularly het-up steer on the ramp into a trailer but it planted its feet and wouldn’t move. One old sergeant told a younger city guy to get behind it and smack it on the butt to see if it would move…nope, no go. Sarge then told the youngster to kink itsc tail and air-demonstrated how kink. Youngster grabs the tail, kinks it and not only discovers for himself but graphically demonstrates to others firsthand what ‘scours’ are.
          Fresh cow poop’s hard to get out of a young patrolman too.

                A followup on the potty mouth Daddy. His mommy told him the three “no” words that Daddy, PaPa and Nanny has to admit she’s let slip as well a time or two. As we all know toddlers always pick up the words they shouldn’t say, but Mommy told him when anyone says the “no” words he’s to tell them they are bad words and she’s going to wash their mouth out with soap.
                The “no” words are a$$, s..t and da.n and Daddy said a “no” word this evening. Mommy said he told Daddy that is a “no” word and then left the room and came back with hand soap out of the bathroom and when Daddy wasn’t paying any attention he squirted soap in his mouth and said, “that was a bad word and Mommy said to put soap in your mouth to wash out bad words. I can’t say “no” words, so don’t tell me “no” words.

                    Yesterday, the little ornery child decided to bake a cake. I had bought some cake mixes a few weeks ago to make cupcakes for a friend’s grandkids bake sale. I had one left and while I was switching clothes from the washer to dryer I heard him dragging a chair across the floor in the kitchen. By the time I had gotten in there he had a bowl sitting on the counter and was opening the cake mix. I asked him what he thought he was doing and he said, “making cupcakes.” I couldn’t help but laugh and then he said, “I need 3 eggs, water and butter.” So I ended up helping him make a cake.

          …as much as he looks like a shleper than a millionaire, as much as he shows his disdain for normals who work for a living, a large part of the public will excuse him and other Hollyork trash behavior. Note Harv’s running for that tried and true Hollyork defense of admitting he has a problem, begging forgiveness for being ‘human’ (?) and running off for a few weeks of therapy at a glitzy spa.
          Hey Harv, how about we grant you provisional forgiveness IF you face the same punishment we normal mouth breathers would under the exact circumstances? A few years in a California prison branded as a rapist should generate an eye-for-an-eye type of justice that the Founders would applaud. Any beer bets on how many cigarettes Harv would be traded for?

      In part, the issue is that this phenomenon has occurred over a long period of time and no one paid attention to it in the aggregate. It somehow was/is always reported as the perv du jour rather than as an ongoing pernicious problem. The public was so bought in to Hollywood and its ‘entertainment’ that rather than look at the problem, it was always a one-off accompanied by the requisite mea culpa on the part of the offender(s). Meanwhile, the viewing public was still buying tickets for the next great best movie of all time released in time for the Christmas season.

      Over the years the sexualization of our young people has become exponentially worse, and consumers of that trash still consume it. Think about Hannah Montana (aka Miley Cyrus) or Britney Spears – another former Disney child star. How did they go from fresh young faces to public slo-mo trains wrecks?

      https://www.inquisitr.com/3115673/elijah-wood-says-child-abuse-is-widespread-and-organized-in-hollywood/
      FTA:
      “Incidents of pedophilia were not isolated or incidental. According to Time Magazine, Woods claims that the abuse was “organized,” indicating that multiple people were involved in the misconduct and in hiding it.”

      Abusers and their enablers have ruined more lives than we will ever know.

    Proverbs 1:7-19:
    The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge,
    but fools despise wisdom and instruction.
    Listen, my son, to your father’s instruction
    and do not forsake your mother’s teaching.
    They are a garland to grace your head
    and a chain to adorn your neck.
    My son, if sinful men entice you,
    do not give in to them.
    If they say, “Come along with us;
    let’s lie in wait for innocent blood,
    let’s ambush some harmless soul;
    let’s swallow them alive, like the grave,
    and whole, like those who go down to the pit;
    we will get all sorts of valuable things
    and fill our houses with plunder;
    cast lots with us;
    we will all share the loot”—
    my son, do not go along with them,
    do not set foot on their paths;
    for their feet rush into evil,
    they are swift to shed blood.
    How useless to spread a net
    where every bird can see it!
    These men lie in wait for their own blood;
    they ambush only themselves!
    Such are the paths of all who go after ill-gotten gain;
    it takes away the life of those who get it.

    lilbirdee12’s prayer:

    Our Heavenly Father, Your children come to you tonight to ask for healing and peace throughout our country so that we may return to being One Nation Under God. Guide us to be leaders in Your Kingdom, spreading Your Love and Salvation to all. Forgive us our sins and deliver us from evil.

    Lord, we ask for a blanket of protection over all our troops and law enforcement who serve to defend and protect us. Bless our representatives with the strength and wisdom they need to achieve the path You have chosen for us.

    Please place Your Guardian Angels of Protection around Donald Trump and Mike Pence and their families as they seek to lead America back to You.

    Grant us patience, Lord, as the evil ones try to anger us and cause us to fall.
    Spread blessings over Israel and Netanyahu.

    We humbly ask that You please comfort those who are grieving and in pain.
    Thank you Father, for Your Love and the gift of Life.

    And, Lord, we pray for all the people who have been affected by the earthquakes and hurricanes.

    In Jesus name, we pray. Amen.

    Wow, imagine if Trayvon Martin’s phone could have been used to determine facts in the case involving George Zimmerman and the game he was supposedly hunting. Like, as in this case in Oregon, where they actually did use the info on the phones.

    That would have been neato, no? Apparently The Law has a toggle switch they can flip, when investigating things like poaching vs. lynching a white guy who killed a black “child”, where on one side they have the best technological skill on the planet short of the IDF and Mossad, and on the other side they have Barney Fife in the Jessica Chambers case, and absolutely no apparent desire to find truth using the technology available.

    I guess that toggle switch depends on what is most important. Dead forest animals definitely trump white girls and “white hispanics” on trial when it comes to that toggle switch. “Oh, no… We don’t really want to know what happened so we’ll pretend rotary phones still exist. Global what satellites? Ping logs? Is that like ping pong?”

    I am glad they caught these guys, and used the technology available to do so, but they never seem to use that technology when doing so has a possibility of countering the initial, and desired, narrative. “Oh, no… the jury cannot be allowed to see all the pics on Trayvon’s phone proving what a thug he was, nor the texts with his suddenly out-of-town dad about procuring a firearm.”

    (Rant off)

    https://bowspritgallery.com/product-category/photography/featured/

    I can never repay what he did for me, on a whim.

    I was living in a basement, under his first store, on a concrete floor with all my belongings, in a sleeping bag. Then I crashed my car. The same day, he said, let’s go for a walk. We walked into various stores, me, damn near vagrant, tagging along, as he asked each storeowner if they had an apartment for rent. We got to my store, and they did and he pulled $800.00 out of his wallet, and here I am, ten years later. I’m still learning how to live like a normie, but I have never paid him that back, in a decade. That’s like a big boot of guilt, on the back.

      Wooly, don’t let it be a big boot of guilt on your back, you are a light of goodness in the world, that is the biggest payback anyone can receive for a good deed. Monetary paybacks are business, paying goodness forward is truly giving more than the original gift, just think, the gentleman has a hand in all your good deeds. That is a magnificent payback 🙂 .

    So I went into the brutal, cleansing, refining fire of restaurant work instead.

    I don’t know why he did what he did. He’s not an avowed Christian.

    He told the Landlord “I have a feeling about this guy.”

    I’m here, ten years later. Incomprehensible.
