    A good update on our racing friend; he’s able to talk now and is starting to eat broth and cream soup. He’s getting tired of being in bed.
    He still has a few things to battle, he’s gotten an infection that they’re not sure what is or where it is and his kidneys still aren’t functioning properly and of course still some burns that haven’t healed, but he’s well on his way now.
    He does remember now almost everything, he remembers hitting the wall and rolling, doesn’t remember the fire, his next memory was waking up in the ambulance trying to figure out what was going on. He remembers waking up at the hospital. They were wrong about him not being able to hear people when they had in a coma, he remembers different people talking to him and being frustrated that he couldn’t let them know he heard them.

    His spirit is strong, he’s happy, laughs and jokes.

    Tonight I opened a jar of pickles, all by myself. Since I have now proved my qualifications to run for president I hope I can count on everyone here to vote for me after President Trump’s two terms have concluded. 😁

    (Yeah, I had to go there. I’m not letting that one go.)

    I’ll never understand why people think they need to tell others what to do. A friend of mine posted on FB a new puppy she bought. People were all over her for not going to a shelter, buying puppies supports breeders, etc.
    She was trying to play a lot nicer with them than I would have. I would have told them it’s my money and my choice what breed of puppy I want and if they don’t like it they can get over it.

      Or if a person knows where the complainers reside, she can always inform them of the local shelters’ addresses. Then tell them she expects to see verified photos of the virtue signalers later that day picking out a dog or a cat from such a facility.

        There were two women who were the worst and somebody pointed out that they were pro-choice, so they believe a woman should be able to choose to murder her baby but not choose their dog.

        I sent her a PM and told her it was about time to go through her friends list.
        She replied that she was going to have to, she didn’t realize posting a picture of a puppy was going to cause the claws to come out.

    I just received the following email from a good friend. LOL, but it makes sense to me!

    “In this crazy political season I decided a little religion might be appropriate; so here is a short Bible study.

    Jesus also told Peter that if he wanted to catch fish do it from the right side of the boat. They did and filled the boat with fish. John 21:6 (NIV) … He said, “Throw your net on the right side of the boat and you will find some.” When they did, they were unable to haul the net in because of the large number of fish.”

    Origin of Left & Right…I have often wondered why it is that Conservatives are called the right” and Liberals are called the “left”.

    By chance I stumbled upon this verse in the Bible: Ecclesiastes 10:2 (NIV) – “The heart of the wise inclines to the right, but the heart of the fool to the left.”

    Thus sayeth the Lord. Amen.

    It surely can’t get any simpler than that.

    Our Heavenly Father, Your children come to you tonight to ask for healing and peace throughout our country so that we may return to being One Nation Under God. Guide us to be leaders in Your Kingdom, spreading Your Love and Salvation to all. Forgive us our sins and deliver us from evil.

    Lord, we ask for a blanket of protection over all our troops and law enforcement who serve to defend and protect us. Bless our representatives with the strength and wisdom they need to achieve the path You have chosen for us.

    Please place Your Guardian Angels of Protection around Donald Trump and Mike Pence and their families as they seek to lead America back to You.

    Grant us patience, Lord, as the evil ones try to anger us and cause us to fall.
