Chris Wallace vs FEMA Director Brock Long

The media continues to try to make Puerto Rico another New Orleans …

This time it’s Chris Wallace on Fox News Sunday. As someone commented over on YouTube,

Do we not yet understand that political opponents will continue to bicker and play the blame game? They do this from air conditioned rooms with full bellies. My ears are numb to the dramatic political news reports anymore.

Things are not always how they are made out to be.

President Trump dispatched 140 helicopters, 28 ships, 6 Army field hospitals, 3 Navy Seabee Battalions, 5 US Army Combat Engineer Battalions, 3 Civil Affairs battalions, 2 Nuclear Submarines capable of generating 2.8 Gigawatts of Power, and released 300,000 tons of food, medical supplies and water from Military stocks to Puerto Rico. Puerto Rico Governor Ricardo Rossello praised President Trump for his rapid response to Hurricane Maria, adding that the American island is still struggling to recover from “the biggest catastrophe in modern history for Puerto Rico. Gov. Rossello and other officials lauded President Trump and the Federal government for having a comprehensive relief plan in place before the storm hit.

Resident Commission Jenniffer Gonzalez, Puerto Rico’s non-voting congressional representative, explained that President Trump’s response is a welcome change from previous administrations. “This is the first time we get this type of federal coordination,” she added. It’s an island and ports were damaged and roads were impassable. The ships were waiting to dock to deliver the supplies. Trump didn’t delay his response, they had to repair damage before the ships could dock. Now, there are tons and tons of supplies there but the local truck drivers aren’t showing up to drive the trucks. Even if they did, I heard more than half the roads are damaged. So now they are airlifting in supplies to inaccessible areas. What more can Trump do?

Puerto Rico’s main port opened Saturday allowing 11 ships stocked full of federal aid to dock. The ships delivered 23,000 cots, 1.6 million gallons of water, food, and generators. Many more ships are scheduled to arrive over the next few days. Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) officials arrived with the ships and brought satellite phones to all of the island’s towns and cities. Still, the media keeps pushing the narrative that the federal government, and Trump, is ignoring Puerto Rico because he hates Hispanics. In other words, fake news. How long are people going to keep falling for the same old lies? When are you going to realize you are being manipulated so as to purposely divide the country?

Trump could send a host of angels there and he’d still get bashed. The point is the MSM and prog/Rat spoilers are only interested in twisting thongs to make Trump look bad.

Fox has its share of Chris Wallace types. It appears to be a journalist one has to suffer from a particular mental illness that blinds the sense of fairness or objectivity.

Interesting to see the words ‘fairness’ and ‘objectivity’ in the same sentence with ‘journalist’ without a negative qualifier.

  4. It’s not just the Media trying to make this another NOLA and Katrina, Stella.

It’s, just as in NOLA and Katrina regarding President Bush, the local hardcore Progs with any power, intenionally doing nothing in order that, in the aftermath, they can blame Trump.

Even the Unions are intentionally letting thousands of containers of food rot on the docks.

And even as Cruz herself is lauded and praised by all the MSM for handing out (by hand — gosh that’s an efficient way to alleviate the problem…) food and while walking through floods. And giving hugs. The fraud is endemic, it’s Deep State, it’s Democratic Party. Lies all the way to the bottom.

I am on the cusp of longing for the return of imperialism.

Most of Africa wishes they hadn’t kicked out the Dutch, the English, and the French.

It was so much better back then. And they all know it now.

I wish we could give PR their independence. They don’t want us. Football stadia don’t want our cops. Okie-dokie. We out.

Just like in NOLA, we’re trying to give these people aid, and their local governments are denying us access, and their local unions are denying us access, on purpose, for hatred of the American President, because their people are just serfs and pawns, and have been made inept enough to be serfs and pawns. It’s the same situation.

One of the things that caused problems in Kstrina was the turf wars. The active Army wanted to control the Guard and the city. The state didn’t want to yield its tenuous covtrol of the city and the shattered city goverment fought the state and the Feds. Add FEMA’s stopping volunteer citizen rescue groups, resupply gas tankers and supplies from coming in early on and the three ring circus looks about the same. We always did refer to NOLA as a banana republic.

Yeah, and prognpropsgandists are trying to blame the ‘striking PR truck drivers’ reports on poor translations by rightwing pundits. Oh yeah, and cell towers being down, as if over the days the drivers were waiting for a call rather than going down to their job sites to see if they were needed.
Neat how the AFL-CIO/Teamsters are going to bring mainland dtivers in to mert the needs. If mainlanders can grt there and drive the trucks what’s wrong with the locals? You betcha the mainland unions will be recruiting the locals too, building their corrupt union webs in an already…tropical…system.
