  1. Evening, all. This is huge.

    http://voxday.blogspot.com/2017/09/did-raiders-ol-throw-carr-under-bus.html

If this is true, the whole team, and their manager and coaches and refs should all be fired.

Actually, if this is true, then the NFL is done for good…

All because of a series of lies, starting with the big lie called (lately) Obama and culminating with the other big lie, “Hands up, Don’t Shoot!”.

I’m not sure if they still just don’t get it

Or as many have written they aren’t very bright

Or they all just don’t care

The NFL insults the FANS and their SPONSORS that pay for their stadiums uniforms paychecks etc

I read that last night the TV show Will and Grace debuted

In which most of the show consisted of Will and Grace insulting President Trump and First Lady Melania

So people were tuning them OFF

They were insulting the people who voted for Trump and those very same people they need to get high ratings from by watching the show so it does not get cancelled

The American People want their Sports and TV Shows with a side of relaxation enjoyment fun

…I don’t understand how this has not sunk in yet for them!

Yeah, but Will and Grace got over 10 million viewers on their premier and they insulted Caitlin too so they’re an equal opportunity insulter. I think part of their draw was they’re up against schlock in that time slot but word is they’ve already been given the nod for a second season.

So they HAVE to have the TV on? So if there’s nothing else to watch, they’ll watch Will and Grace? I know you’re not representing your own viewpoint here, Czar, but this kind of truth (which it is) makes me want to throw things.

I’ve heard of that program over the years but have never watched an episode and have no idea who or what it is about.

If I could find the right place to stand in the middle of Kansas and could yell loud enough, I would remind Americans that it’s ok to turn the TV off. Apparently a whole lot of people, including a sizable % of CTH readers, are no longer aware of that.

          Frustrating.

Liberals simply never give up or surrender, they do not understand that there is a world outside their sphere of idiocy. They think when I hear Michelle Obama say “Any woman who voted against Hillary Clinton voted against their own voice.” I’m going to slap my head and thank the enlightened Michelle for setting me straight.

Liberals for the most part are an insular inward looking tribe who don’t see outside their own bubble. Kind of like people who never live the square mile radius of where they were born they either think all people are bad or all people are good depending on who occupies that square mile.

Carr’s already volunteered himself as the goat for the loss and sports pundits are doubling down on also blaming him. What goes on behing team doors we’ll probably never know but all concerned will be picking thru those tapes with a fine tooth comb. The Raiders can still get back into the race by winning their next game but Denver ain’t gonna make it easy. Will be interesting to see how this shakes out.

Personally who cares if the Raiders can or can’t get back into the game? The NFL has become the National arm of BLM. I didn’t watch the Packers Bears game. They all stood. Both teams. In fact I don’t know if the any of the Bears or Packers ever took a knee. I don’t care. I can’t support the NFL in any form.

As to their getting back into the game I was trying to offer another reason that some team members could have thought it not much of a risk to throw the game. As they’re paid a flat salary and not on winning, a number of teams should be thankful for that, the ability to purposely lose one game to punish a nonconformist is viable. Then again this story is already being buried.

          • Notice they don’t do the obvious, more blatant, disrespectful move and just turn their back to the flag.

Do you know why? Because then they’d be facing the paying, patriotic fans. They’re all too cowardly to do that. So they hide in tunnels, and kneel instead of standing. But they won’t face the crowd, their lifeblood, the signers of their paycheck.

Soon, they won’t have a crowd.

      Wow. It certainly rings true.

I was wondering when the bad blood between the patriots and the ingrates would start to show up on the field. I’ll wonder no longer.

These folks are not very bright.

“And the fans that don’t want to come to the game?” he continued. “I mean, OK, bye. I mean, if you feel that’s something … we’re disrespecting you, don’t come to the game. You don’t have to. No one’s telling you to come to the game. It’s your freedom of choice to do that.”__Delanie Walker (Tennessee Titan)

Titans cornerback Logan Ryan agreed, stating, “That’s their choice. That’s the beauty of this country. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and everyone’s opinion is equal. So right, wrong or indifferent, that’s the beauty of this country – that everyone should have equal rights and equal opinions on what they want. If they don’t want to watch, that’s their choice. That’s perfect.”

I have heard and seen how parents and grandparents raise black kids, always telling them white people hate them and want to make them slaves, don’t want them in their schools or riding on the bus with them, will shoot them dead if given half a chance.

It’s no wonder they keep raising generation after generation of blacks who hate whites and think they’re being beat down.

Yes though, they would all jump off a cliff, just like they all ran around with their hands up don’t shoot and all took to the streets when the black man in Tulsa was shot by a white cop. I heard a reporter ask one of them if they had watched the video, this black kid with his pants down around his knees and gold caps on his teeth said, “I didna need no video to know a brother was shot in cold blood, just gunned down in street for being a black man. We’re being murdered in the streets!” Come to find out he had just turned 18 and had a warrant out for his arrest and him taking to the streets and getting in front of the camera helped cops to find him. So something good came out of it. lol

An NAIA school in Southwest Missouri has taken its support of the national anthem at sporting events to the next level.

Not only will athletes and coaches at College of the Ozarks in Point Lookout, Mo., stand at attention for the Star Spangled Banner, the opponent will as well.

The school calls it, “No pledge, No Play,” and school president Jerry C. Davis said he has no problem taking his ball and going home. The school has revised its contracts in competitions in all sports to reflect the pledge.

    (If you’ll indulge the PSA)

The fall campaign for the 10th anniversary of 40 Days for Life (pro-life prayer vigils in at least 375 locations all over the world, many at Planned Parenthood) began Wednesday, September 27th, and runs through November 5. People will be praying at least half the day at these locations, seven days a week, for the entire 40 days, rain or shine. Vigil locations are at the link:

    https://40daysforlife.com/

Please consider participating; statistics show that a peaceful prayer presence DOES make a difference to many people who are headed into an abortion mill. Over thirteen thousand babies are known to have been saved over the ten-year history of these prayer vigils; undoubtedly there are untold numbers of others who were spared from death, but who are not included in the hard statistics.

Speaking from personal experience, praying outside of an abortion clinic is extremely rewarding, even when negative things occur. You encounter supporters and detractors. You can be cheered and you can be jeered. People share their stories, and others give you the middle finger (or worse reactions).

None of the negative stuff matters.

The babies and their parents matter.

    Good Morning everyone!
Thanks for posts yesterday about pictures. Apparently it is either imgur or how my computer now interacts with imgur that is the problem. When I tried to test post various pictures last night, imgur kept on saying error. So I did a duckduck search, found a nice pic (Edmund Dulac), and copied directly into here. It posted, but was too big. Today I found the pic I wanted, and was lucky enough to find it in the right size. If a painting is too big, do I save it to my computer, resize it, and then copy and paste directly here? Thanks for your continued advice. I really love fine art, and believe it is important to counter-balance the evil and ugly lies shown visually in media today. I very much want to continue posting paintings, so I appreciate your help.
(If I do not answer, I have my recurring doctor’s appointment today, but I will read it tonight. Thank You 🙂 )

Back in 1977 or 78 while attending a Catholic college, I took a public speaking class. One of the last speeches we had to make was that we had to speak on a topic that we knew would be controversial to the rest of the class. Hockey was the big sport at this college, and the school was discussing games being played on Sunday which caused Catholics to work at a Catholic school on Sunday for a non-essential job. My speech was “Sports Are the Opium of the Masses – Sports Replacing Religion”. WOW! did I have the most controversial speech in class! People were so offended, not because I said sports or religion were the opium of the masses, but that I would criticize sports for replacing religion.
Fast forward to a week or two ago. I was at a large food store on Sunday (I know I should not have been, but we were too exhausted from work during the week to food shop. We try not to shop on Sundays). I could not believe it. I have never seen a food store so busy in my life – not even before Thanksgiving! Every register was open, and the lines curved and then went up the food aisles making it impossible to move in the front of the store! I said to DH what is this? I’m never shopping on a Sunday again, and three other women laughed in agreement. He and another person said, “The Patriots are playing, and everyone wants to get home before kick off”.
I wonder if someone got the stats and made a graph with one line going down for church attendance, and another going up for the rise in sports viewership what it would look like. Think of the ramifications of replacing God with the cr@p that is sport. ~ Bread and Circus.

Finally rested up enough to post about my trip and homecoming. The trip was great. I really hated to leave. I love my DIL so much, it brings tears to my eyes just to think about her. She is a wonderful wife and mother. And, both granddaughters are absolutely darling (of course). Also, my son is so happy.

My flight home was fine, though tiring. Then, there was the 1 1/2 hour drive through Orlando at rush hour. Actually, the traffic was moving and there were only two areas where there was a slow down. Then, I stopped to pick up my little doggie with the hurt eye at the vet’s.

After I picked her up, I drove home and when I opened the door, it was like an oven. The air conditioner had died. I called the office for help and the phone rang several times and quit. So, I got back in the car and drove back to the gate to get help, which appeared immediately. To be honest, I really can’t complain about that. It was fixed within 20 min. I even got a hug from the maintenance guy, I guess because I looked so frazzled. LOL

The vet said the eye was worse and suggested I take her to an ophthalmologist (who knew there were such things) for pets. Might cost between $1200 and $2400. YIKES! So, she made an appt. on Fri. morn and they fit me in. It took me two hours to drive there through Tampa traffic. But, the outcome was the best. More drops for her eyes and outcome looks better than at first thought. Then, the drive back home. I had a headache and was too exhausted to do anything but take care of her after that. I have to put two different types of drops in her eye every two hours and another one every four hours. And, I have to set an alarm to do it once in the middle of the night. 🙄 This will go on for 2 or 3 weeks. Oh, and she has to wear the dreaded “cone”. Poor thing. She has such short legs that the cone tends to drag the ground if she doesn’t hold her head up. And, I have to hold her food dish so she can eat and keep her water dish completely full so she can drink.

Oh, and I couldn’t post the prayer on Thursday because my email quit working. 🙄 I was afraid of something like that. That is why I asked for continued help through Friday. Now, if I can just get to the chiropractor, I will be able to walk straight and everything will be back to some kind of normalcy. 😯

  17. I want to thank everyone who has been praying for my job search, and I’d like to give some more info. I presently work part-time at a radio station, and I love it there. I never understood what people meant when they said “If you do what you love it isn’t work” until I started there. Now I understand it. I love what I do, and I call it work, but it’s not. Not really. I have asked to be full-time there and my request is still under consideration. I was told they can see the value of making my position full time but that the overhead for another full-time employee is the main consideration now.

In the meantime, I have an interview for another position this coming Friday. Please pray for a resolution to my job situation soon, and that I would be given the grace to accept whatever the outcome is in both of these present predicaments.

I check on all sorts of sites daily (in a random way) not because I believe anything they are saying but to see what is being pushed, and who is pushing it.

I’m not into boycotting anything. Got better things to do with my limited life time than track lists and products, who apologized, who is to be believed, etc. etc. So yeah – I still check Drudge and Breitbart occasionally.

I don’t see any reason to put the burden on Sundance and/or Stella to decide what I read and what I know about going forward than I would trust those other sites. There are some real misdirections in that kind of thinking.

I think there are alot of people who are “depending on Sundance to tell them what to think” and I don’t find that any more attractive (in terms of what they are doing) than somebody letting the MSM tell them what to think.

Since I linked Drudge I decided to open that pandora’s box a little bit.

I doubt that Sundance finds much satisfaction in being read by those who are too lazy to think for themselves either, so this comment is not about him.

Scary. They say missing one engine is not a big deal, but I would be “concerned”. My dad traveled a lot, and said a plane he was on once landed with an engine on fire.

I think it’s a very big deal – because, if nothing else, whilst one is flying up there with one engine removing itself from the plane, one cannot know if another one is going to behave in a similar way.

Since I worked at Lockheed and know firsthand the condition of the some of the fools building planes and doing the riveting on Mondays after a long weekend, I have never gotten over the compulsion to watch the thousands of rivets on the wings if I can see them! If those rivets go — you’re talking sky-high-zipper! Yeah, they tested them,—but but but – –

The going comment was that no Lockheed employee would fly a plane that was in a certain part of the process on Mondays. Some people would actually check the # on the body so they would know for sure. The area where that kind of assembly was done was, seriously, called “The Jungle” and personnel of the female persuasion never walked through those areas unescorted to get to the administration offices on the other side of the building. We were ordered by our management to take the very long way around – walk to the end of the building, cross over, and then go back down the far side.

So yeah – if an engine falls off, I will not be thinking “Well. That’s not a big deal.”

I doubt I will ever fly again. It’s just such a nasty experience any more.

Read last week somewhere that one thing the airlines are running into more and more is that older folk who can get by with it are requesting wheelchair service even if they don’t actually need it because the treatment they get throughout the entry and boarding process is a little bit better. Of course, that won’t last for long once they don’t have enough people to manage all of us liars who are pulling too many years behind us and don’t like being treated badly in public. Last time I flew (to Colorado 2 1/2 years ago) after I got through security I found a bench behind a pillar and sat down and cried. I was exhausted and felt traumatized. It was a very long process and I didn’t have my hijab with me. Jon went with me absolutely as far as he could – and I was still facing 30 minutes of awful………

Guess I’m just not tough enough any more. Used to be.

I haven’t flown in ten years, when I had to fly to Dallas on business. When I visited OR/WA/CA in 2012, I took Amtrak. Not a “pleasant” experience, but not demeaning either.

I have to fly. And, I hate to feel cowed. So, when I go through security and put my things on the belt to be x-rayed, I then stick my arm straight out to the undressing machine of unknown rays and say very loudly, “I’m not going through that machine. I need a pat down.” Funny thing is, I am always treated very nicely as they pat me down, big fat old woman that I am. Somehow it makes me feel a little more in control.

Btw, they say that about cars that are built on Monday, but at least cars stay on the ground!

This Air France plane had four engines, I think, but I would be worried about pieces of the broken engine getting into one of the others.

      I think they would need the smelling salts for me if I looked out of the plane window and saw this;

      Yikes!

A man in a movie theater notices what looks like a llama sitting next to him. “Are you a llama?” asked the man, surprised and a bit wary.
“Yes. Don’t worry. I don’t bite,” the llama said cheerfully.
“Oh, I’m not worried. I was just wondering what a llama is doing at the movies.”
The llama replied, “Well, I liked the book.”

    lilbirdee12’s prayer:

Our Heavenly Father, Your children come to you tonight to ask for healing and peace throughout our country so that we may return to being One Nation Under God. Guide us to be leaders in Your Kingdom, spreading Your Love and Salvation to all. Forgive us our sins and deliver us from evil.

Lord, we ask for a blanket of protection over all our troops and law enforcement who serve to defend and protect us. Bless our representatives with the strength and wisdom they need to achieve the path You have chosen for us.

Please place Your Guardian Angels of Protection around Donald Trump and Mike Pence and their families as they seek to lead America back to You.

Grant us patience, Lord, as the evil ones try to anger us and cause us to fall.
Spread blessings over Israel and Netanyahu.

We humbly ask that You please comfort those who are grieving and in pain.
Thank you Father, for Your Love and the gift of Life.

And, Lord, we pray for all the people who have been affected by the earthquakes and hurricanes.

In Jesus name, we pray. Amen.

I have been hesitant to express it but it has always bothered me that Sessions was Ted Cruz’s favorite senator and that Sessions immediately endorsed candidate Trump.

I think one of two things is happening right now.

Sessions is still in bed with Cruz and by extension an establishment deep state Clinton supporter.

    Or.

There is a very deep very expansive very black investigation going on and deep state indictments are going to pour down like rain one of these days.

I guess that there is a third option, President Trump could neutralize a lot of these people with the information he has because he doesn’t want to embarrass the United States of America by airing our filthy laundry on a public clothes line.
