    Scooby Doo Mysteries = The A Team = CSI-Wherever = 24 = Law & Order.

    Maybe, just maybe, the public used to like television drama because of the stories in these “whodunnit?” type shows, and got tired after three decades of seeing the Same. Exact. Story. We know who did it. You’ve been telling this story for three, four decades now.

    Whodunnit? The evil rich white male capitalist industrialist, of course! America is tired of this story being the only story these shows ever tell. Every episode of all those shows, and many more, have the same exact villain, and the same exact victims. Even when a black dude is convicted, or a Muslim, on a CSI or L&O show, he’s still the victim, and the perp is actually the evil rich white male capitalist industrialist.

    There are other forms of entertainment. Hollywood is about to start getting “woke” to this.

      Sorry but there is something about this lady that I really don’t like. I think it is her trying to play every angle and that her voice and mannerisms remind me of Hillary.

        She really doesn’t get what’s happened here. The teams actually have aligned themselves with BLM, Linda Sarsour, and Collin Kaerpernick. Politics should have never been brought into football, “America’s Sport”. I’m actually sorry that her business will be hurt, but unfortunately that’s the reality here. People will vote with their dollars and the NFL deserves what’s coming to them.

          The sad irony is that most of her customers are probably aligned with BLM et al. She has to appear to support their “cause”, in the interest of keeping her customers. In other words, she’s smarter than the NFL. She knows which side of her bread is buttered.

          She’s paying the protection money by supporting them here. If she came out against the Kneelers, she knows, truly, that her business would be in jeopardy, not just on the bottom line, but physically, as well. Location, location, location. She chose to cater to this demographic, because profit. She’s just mitigating broken glass and Molotov cocktails at this point. Hopefully she’s seeking an exit from the trade, on the down low.

          Two years from now, the NFL will be as popular as the WNBA, while both markets are eclipsed by DOTA championships, which are not SJW-converged.

          There are alternatives to Dindooball.

        Maybe if she sold copies of the Declaration of Independence, booklets containing the United States Constitution AND sold American flags of all sizes in cloth and multitudes of items with the flag incorporated…lapel pins…plaques…BESIDES T-shirts.

    This is a program on one double-sided 5 1/4″ floppy disk, a competition entry, written on a stock Commodore 64 that came out in 1982. These folks are still pushing the limits of this thing.

    It was all written in hexidecimal. The music, the graphics. How do you make funk and soul with hex? The “why” is easy to understand. “Because we can.” But how can you be that soulful with code? No keyboards, no actual instruments, per se. Nothing but code.

      Most (99%) of the visual and aural components in this video were not even considered remotely possible even by 1990 with the SID and VIC chip in this little PC.

      Programmers be like “Hold my beer.”

      Even today, they have competitions. For a PC made in 1982.

      The SID chip is 4 channels. 3 are variable FM synth channels. 1 is a white noise channel. for clicks and snares and drummage. All monaural. Programmers took that horse and broke it. Turns out you can do a lot with FM synthesis.

      You can look up the early C64 games, and see what the “best” game musicians could do with that chip. The C64 became obsolete in 1990 or so. 27 years later, programmers are still making it do things that it wasn’t supposed to do, just because Hobby.

        In the mid-80s a friend and I were jamming the 12-bar blues and I was getting tired of playing the same chord progression over and over, and then noticed his C64 on a shelf.
        About an hour later I had it playing the 12 bar blues progression, based solely on A being 440 Hz, and the frequency of the fifth being 3/2 the frequency of the fundamental.
        We jammed along with it for a while, then it was time to quit.
        “Got a backup device?”, I asked.
        “Nope.”
        “Bummer.”
        “Yeah”, he said as he switched it off and the program went to that great bit-bucket in the sky.

      Rob Hubbard was the best C64 music programmer. He’s the Jimi Hendrix of this very niche genre. These guys are better than Hubbard, just as Joe Bonamassa is better than Hendrix. Evolution.

    Woof! Czarina and I are watching CBS’s ‘Seal Team’ and suddenly she lights up. The military buildings the Team’s using as its HQs is the abandoned Metropolitan Developmental Center complex where she worked for 25 years. Scenes with their C-130 landing at some foreign airport was almost surely done at the Lakefront Airport and some of the scenes supposedly in some Mideast sandbox city looks strongly like they dolled-up some street and balconies in the Quarter. Not sure about the scenes of AK toting badguys riding around in junky vehicles but it could be the Lower 9th Ward.
