For Sabatino, the charges could add more prison time for a man who has spent half of his life in custody.

Last year, he confessed to a federal judge that he’s never learned how to live a normal life because he’s spent so much time in prison.

“I don’t know what the answer is, but I know incarceration is not helping me,” Sabatino told U.S District Judge Robert Scola. “I want to change. I’m being honest with you.”

His intense soliloquy in Miami federal court persuaded Scola to impose just a two-year sentence…

    via Drudge

What a con-artist. In the second line above, he’s got cause and effect reversed. In the third, I would say, “Incarceration isn’t about helping you, it’s about punishing you, and about keeping the good people safe from you.” In the fourth line, he conned the Judge himself.

Thank you Col. Now I’ll need to go buy some Tums.

Son of a bucket. Who can afford to lose 33% of their income? For 4 or 8 years?

I really, really, really, dislike that Kelly is coming between President Trump and Schiller. I have no doubt that Schiller has the president’s back. Experience tells us that President Trump is too smart to be isolated but I don’t like this at all. President Trump should tell Kelly to suck an egg as far as Schiller is concerned. Schiller should always have full access.

I hope there is a way that this can be avoided but I’m guessing when you get into the legalities of pay that President Trump’s hands are tied. Hmm… Maybe Trump can hire him as a personal assistant? I doubt it I’m sure there are laws governing this stuff.

Remember the disgusting SS dame who said she wouldn’t defend POTUS with her life? I hope Schiller sets up a really good team if he really is going to leave.

      SMH.

I’ll never forget Keith chucking that little yapping, violent, assh*le off his back at Trump Tower.

I really hope his exit can be avoided.

It was ugly, and if you told the many rap, grunge, metal, and Zappa-esque artists that, they’d thank you. Sick, twisted music, albeit talented and even virtuoso. But absolutely ugly.

I posted Peyroux further down, one of her full albums. Beauty is better.

And it is real, and not subjective. It is not “in the eye of the beholder”. That’s a lie.

It took me a long, long time, Lovely. I do my best to impart wisdom, such little (and great) I have, to the young’uns too. The workers at the local restaurants and businesses. They see what I did, they’re told what I did, not just by me. They seek me out for advice, and they all respect me.

Ask him if he plays any RPGs. Role-playing video games, on console or PC. Ask him if he knows what it means to increase your Faction Standing in those games, and what that does, Tell him to do that in real life. In my town there are four. Business owners, retail and restaurant workers (not to mention FedEx and UPS and USPS and SH city workers), the itinerant: old, infirm, walking their dogs, and young workers. My Faction Standing has gone up with all of them. Ask him why.

First John 4. It took a long time. Many years.

For me I have always been a straight shooter, I am who I am, so I think people of good will and even bad will have some sense of that. I have no skin in their game, it’s their life so they have a choice be happy or be miserable.

I love Padre Pio, he worked a lot with college students and they would come to him whining and complaining about a relationship that they were in, they always said “If I only knew this or that about him or her in the before the relationship started I would never have dated them.”

Padre Pio would smile and simply say “But you know it now and you are still dating them.”

Life, joy, happiness, misery, beauty, ugly it is all a choice.

                    From Damien Rice’s Trusty and True;

We’ve wanted to be trusty and true
But feathers fell from our wings
And we’ve wanted to be worthy of you
But weather rained on our dreams
                    And we can’t take back
What is done, what is past
So fellas, lay down your fears
                    ‘Cause we can’t take back
What is done, what is past
So let us start from here

A beautiful, beautiful song. Damien suffers from deep depression often.

Anyhow few people understand this who have not lived it as it is one of those intangibles where explanation escapes me but I cannot in all honesty say that I understood what “trusty and true” and to whom it should belong in my youth it simply was not part of my upbringing.

Live and learn and that I did. Thankfully I came with a very still soul and heart that was always prone to charity. That I know was a divine gift. It saved my life, mind and soul.

I should have included the caveat that I try to follow my own advice and have been better the older I get. I still suffer from guilt over things I haven’t done (the ones that bother me personally), and depression can be an issue from time to time. I am not nearly as kind as I should be.

You have mentioned the kindness issue before, I think way back when I read and posted on the CTH. I don’t know Stella you seem kind to me.

Guilt is good it motivates us not to repeat our misdeeds, shame is the problem, if we do the best we can with an informed conscience we are doing the best we can or could have at the time. No need to beat ourselves up over things dine without malice.

Willful ignorance like we see on the Left is another thing altogether.

I’m jumping in here on the guilt discussion. I believe Stella first brought it up, can’t reply to the posts below, of course.

I agree with you lovely. Guilt is not always bad at all. If I have harmed someone, or am guilty of sin, I need to feel guilt in order to become more aware of the consequences of my action, and to make reparation, to repent and seek forgiveness, both from God and man.

I treasure the Sacrament of Confession, having become increasingly dependent upon it in last several years. Nothing in my whole life has aided me so much in changing, becoming a better Christian, a better person, closer to Christ, loving Him more, and not just fearing hell. Nothing in my life has so aided me in actually loving myself more than Confession. But I would never open the door of the confessional if guilt didn’t bite into my soul and stab my heart.

It’s when we don’t use the guilt to take positive actions, or when we hold on to it even after repentance that it becomes bad for us.

Guilt is appropriate when we have sinned or hurt another person. I was thinking more about guilt over not cleaning the bathroom, or weeding the garden. That, I think, is a waste of time. All I have to do is either get it done, or simply decide to procrastinate.

IMO the FBI does not give a hoot about whether or not we plebs are interested in Hillary’s crimes. Assange is going to put a gun to the Feebies head that is the only way that damning information about Hillary et al. is going to come out.

That and when President Trump has time to make use of his vault of information.

And if Comey really has Federal Immunity.

Gateway Pundit is the most recent site to state that Mueller gave Comey Federal Immunity. Everyone who I have read or heard talk about the supposed Comey/Mueler deal seems to be ignorant about Federal Immunity and equate it to blanket immunity which it is not.

Federal Immunity is referred to as F* Me, immunity, blanket immunity is (from NOLO)

Transactional immunity is the broadest type of immunity; it offers complete protection from future prosecution for any matter mentioned in the immunized testimony. Because it’s so broad, transactional immunity is also commonly referred to as “total” or “blanket” immunity.

I’d bet a dollar to a nothing burger that Mueller wanted to give Comey blanket immunity but was forced into giving him Federal Immunity.

I’m with you. They don’t care if every voter in America lines up at the door. Look for them to take the bare minimum action they can get by with in any given scenario. All theynwill do is look for the easiest way out.

Made it easier for people to sign a petition by posting the link to the petition; rather a link to a story that contains the link to a petition, please. Thank you.

Sorry to be a wet blanket but a petition is simply not going to “compel” the FBI to do anything. Comey stood up before the entire world and said what Hillary Clinton did was criminal, but “meh”, (a) Hillary was just too plain dumb to know that what she was doing was criminal, and (b) Comey conjured up a adjunct to the law and said ignorance of the law equates to exemption from the law and consequences of breaking the law.

Comey said loudly and clearly we are a nation built to serve Hillary Clinton not a nation of laws. Comey the disgraced former Director of the FBI.

        I believe this is what was scrolling on the screen as Comey was braying;

*Hillary Clinton results are not average if someone else does what Hillary did they should not expect the same prosecutorial results as Hillary.

It was an absolute shit show. Everyone knew it. They expected Hillary to win and she would by murder and deception never be held accountable.

Then we were blessed with President Trump. POTUS is currently putting out about 498 fires with a very small team. The FBI is on the list, Hillary is on the list but the world is on fire.

If that f***ing b*stard wins, we’ll all hang from nooses!”__Hillary Clinton

Those words are still true today, they are a lullaby to my ears. Trump won. They will hang.

If that f***ing b*stard wins, we’ll all hang from nooses!”__Hillary Clinton

I think I’m going to have that put on a t-shirt.

    lilbirdee12’s prayer:

Our Heavenly Father, Your children come to you tonight to ask for healing and peace throughout our country so that we may return to being One Nation Under God. Guide us to be leaders in Your Kingdom, spreading Your Love and Salvation to all. Forgive us our sins and deliver us from evil.

Lord, we ask for a blanket of protection over all our troops and law enforcement who serve to defend and protect us. Bless our representatives with the strength and wisdom they need to achieve the path You have chosen for us.

Please place Your Guardian Angels of Protection around Donald Trump and Mike Pence and their families as they seek to lead America back to You.

Grant us patience, Lord, as the evil ones try to anger us and cause us to fall.
Spread blessings over Israel and Netanyahu.

We humbly ask that You please comfort those who are grieving and in pain.
Thank you Father, for Your Love and the gift of Life.

And, Lord, we pray for help for the people of Texas who are caught in the flooding.

In Jesus name, we pray. Amen

No, Col. Ken. We’re not getting old.

None of this should be possible. The music or the graphics. It’s been broken into by old folks, and made to do anything.

I called a buddy of mine once on his cellphone, with his home land-line phone, and bet him I could do it just using the hang-up button. Yep. Not a problem. Sense of rhythm and timing, you can dial any phone number with just the hang-up button, tapping out the numbers and pausing between each. I did it the first time I tried, and he nearly shat hisself.`
