The last years we were there we also saw a resurgence of the bald eagle population, with one or two of them nesting in the big trees that surrounded that water….and others noticed in the tall trees a mile down the road.

Always lots of raccoons and deer, coyotes and an occasional moose.

What, Anton LeVay was worried she was more closerer to Satan than he?
I was going to post this yesterday, I was just waiting to see if it was really a belated April 1st story.
I guess, considering her and Bill’s abilities to parse the language she could be a Methodist. During Kingdomtide she could go amongst the poor and downtrodden (look how well they helped the Haitians) and show them how to leave their homes penniless and be billionaires within a few short years.
The Covenant Services would allow her to renew her covenant eith God…as long as God coughs up His donations to the Hillary Fund.
And the Methodist’s use of logic and reason…just look at the logic and reasoning she and Bill have used in wriggling out from under their various legal issues.
Then there’s that whole sin thing….

With advanced apologies to any Methodists, I’m with you on that one, czar. Years ago I read a poster that declared what they believed in. It was divided vertically in two parts, the left side was a “this is what the Bible and our faith tells us” and the right side was a “but this is all the good reasons why people do these things and we understand and don’t condemn” statement and that was the whole thing. Not one one single issue did they have a concrete this is right statement.

Maybe, like sometimes happens in the Catholic Church, it was a liberal pastor who was outside the true teachings. I don’t know, it was on the wall in the hall.

So, my father in law, who was reading the poster with me, looks at me after we read it and said “Looks to me like they don’t believe in a damned thing.” That was more than 30 years ago, and I have no idea if there is more than one branch of Methodists, but I can’t imagine they are any fonder of doctrine thirty years later.

Their first “but this” excused abortion. Lost me right there.

There is a reason the Clintons do everything they do, self preservation, wealth gain and power attainment. If the rumors are true that the DOJ is working on a deal with Hillary, she will become a pastor, she will publicly repent, James Baker style minus the histrionics. She will then start a tax free ministry and continue to preach the glories of dismembering babies while in the womb, suiciding the unfaithful, stealing from the poor to give to herself, the necessity of lying as a virtue and chastising white people other than herself and her own. She will damn the rich and of exclude herself once again.

Oops…seems that more pumps in New Orleans than originally mentioned, even by the tap dancing mayor, were fiwn for the flood. The city’s drainage pumps, seeerage pumps and drinking waterbpumps are powered by five electrical turbines at the main plant dedicated solely to power these pumps. As of right now four of the five are down and the city’s using emergency bsckup power being purchased from the Entergy company. No word on how long it will take the seeerage and water folks to get their own power back.

Republicans hold the majority of state offices, including Governor (since 2011) and Secretary of State (since 1995). The Michigan Senate consists of 27 R’s and 11 D’s, and the Michigan House has 63 R’s and 45 D’s (2 are vacant). While big cities in Michigan have D mayors, the trend is more conservative. Detroit’s mayor is a white male with a successful background both in government and business. He is likely to be reelected.

Black population estimates for mid-century still show them hovering around 13% of the population while European-American birth v. death rates don’t show the Rats abilities to boost numbers thru that route. I’m betting that the huge Latino population numbers forcasts have them worried and they want to hedge their bets by importing yet another group to balance/dilute Latino influence.
If you already have a settled Moslem group then why not pour more in as they’ll have avmore familiar base to work with? The western ststes are already heavily tilted to Spanish speakers, no sense trying to Middle Easternize them, concentrate on expanding your existing bases in blue Rust Belt states. Well prior to that many Mideastern terrorist groups were getting a sizeable portion of their opersting finds from commercial fronts in the US, Feds were going nuts tracking them. “Michigan seems to becoming ‘Moslem Ground Zero’, the American Fallujah.”

                Exaggeration.

Yes, Michigan has the largest Muslim population is the US, and it is growing. However, “the majority of the Michigan Muslim population surveyed are African-American, female, between the ages of 30-39 U.S. citizens.”

                http://muslimobserver.com/demographic-makeup-of-muslims-in-michigan/

As this article points out, there is also a distinction between Muslim and Arab, as many of our Michigan Arabs are Chaldean (Catholic). They seem to own most of the party stores, liquor stores, and gas stations. We have a lot of Lebanese and Iraqi Christians.

Danny Thomas (Amos Muzyad Yakhoob Kairouz), a Maronite Catholic, was born in Michigan (1912 in Deerfield) and raised in Toledo. Casey Kasem, a Lebanese Druze was born in Detroit (1932), and started his career in Detroit radio.

                http://michiganradio.org/post/what-explains-michigans-large-arab-american-community

There are roughly 38,000 Arab-Americans in Dearborn, MI. That’s about 40% of the population, and not all of them are Muslim. In the 2016 primaries, Dearbornites voted for Bernie Sanders and Donald Trump. Dearborn has a majority Arab city council; again, ARAB, not Muslim.

The population of Michigan is 9.9 million. Between 1 and 2% are of the Islamic faith. Estimate is 120,000. 79% of Michiganders are Christians.

A little more than 1% of Michiganders speak Arabic. Almost 3% speak Spanish.

6% of our population is foreign born. Michigan has the largest Dutch, Finnish, and Macedonian populations in the United States.

They eat the system from the roots up, all politics and all subversion are local. The same way the Mexicans have pushed blacks out of so many predominantly black areas over the last few decades, thorny social activism at its best.
It isn’t the fastest way to destroy the system but it cements a base and provides a solid base for further metastasis through the government from local to state levels. They don’t even have to occupy the governor’s chair to compromise it if they carry enough lower influence to sway it.
There are two Moslem members of Congress in what’s otherwise an almost 91% Christian Congress. We consider that inconsequential, they consider it a victory.

It’s New Orleans gripe night folks. Now the city government’s whining that the high number of piwer outages in the city’s due to Entergy not maintaining and updating the infrastructure. Well, as Entergy inherited a system thstbthe city once owned and the city keeps a thumb on how much the company can charge…no wonder.
After Katrina the push was to patch and get the power on and city back, major repairs could be done after the city was running again. Billions of US taxpayers’ dollars came, and are still coming, to NOLA and the sewerage, water and electrical dystems already being pointed out as desperately in need of repair were largely ignored. The city was hoping the bill for repaing the city’s water and sewerage systems, already quoted at somewhere around $1-billion before Katrina, could be foisred off on the US taxpayers too. Recently FEMA told the city, “Sorry, we ain’t paying, it was decrepit by your own admission before the storm”, and the city’s miffed. They’d spent precious little on the system after Katrina as they were sure you’d eat the bill.

A New Report Raises Big Questions About Last Year’s DNC Hack
Former NSA experts say it wasn’t a hack at all, but a leak—an inside job by someone with access to the DNC’s system.
    By Patrick LawrenceTwitter

The customary VIPS format is an open letter, typically addressed to the president. The group has written three such letters on the DNC incident, all of which were first published by Robert Parry at http://www.consortiumnews.com. Here is the latest, dated July 24; it blueprints the forensic work this article explores in detail. They have all argued that the hack theory is wrong and that a locally executed leak is the far more likely explanation. In a letter to Barack Obama dated January 17, three days before he left office, the group explained that the NSA’s known programs are fully capable of capturing all electronic transfers of data. “We strongly suggest that you ask NSA for any evidence it may have indicating that the results of Russian hacking were given to WikiLeaks,” the letter said. “If NSA cannot produce such evidence—and quickly—this would probably mean it does not have any.”

The day after Parry published this letter, Obama gave his last press conference as president, at which he delivered one of the great gems among the official statements on the DNC e-mail question. “The conclusions of the intelligence community with respect to the Russian hacking,” the legacy-minded Obama said, “were not conclusive.” There is little to suggest the VIPS letter prompted this remark, but it is typical of the linguistic tap-dancing many officials connected to the case have indulged so as to avoid putting their names on the hack theory and all that derives from it. And much more.

    lilbirdee12’s prayer:

Our Heavenly Father, Your children come to you tonight to ask for healing and peace throughout our country so that we may return to being One Nation Under God. Guide us to be leaders in Your Kingdom, spreading Your Love and Salvation to all. Forgive us our sins and deliver us from evil.

Lord, we ask for a blanket of protection over all our troops and law enforcement who serve to defend and protect us. Bless our representatives with the strength and wisdom they need to achieve the path You have chosen for us.

Please place Your Guardian Angels of Protection around Donald Trump and Mike Pence and their families as they seek to lead America back to You.

Grant us patience, Lord, as the evil ones try to anger us and cause us to fall.
Spread blessings over Israel and Netanyahu.

We humbly ask that You please comfort those who are grieving and in pain.
Thank you Father, for Your Love and the gift of Life.

In Jesus name, we pray. Amen

    Movie Review
    Spiderman:Homecoming

I had serious doubts about this film going in. I mean, after all, this was a new actor playing Peter Parker. However, I was very pleasantly surprised. I thought Tom Holland did a great job, except for a couple of scenes where he acted too silly and I blame that on the director.

If there is anyone here who is looking for PC and diversity, there is plenty in this movie. Peter’s heart throb is a black girl. His friends are black, asian, and whatever else. I never did figure out what his best friend was. Maybe a mixture of black, hispanic, and asian. ?? At one point the girl who is the rebel of the group says she is glad they will get to D.C. early because it will give her time to protest. I don’t remember them saying what she was going to protest. However the teacher says that it is good to protest……..it shows your patriotism, etc. 😦

All in all, I enjoyed most of it, but there were a lot of special effects, too many for me, but I am sure young people enjoyed it.

Neat, thanks Aus, The last movie I went to in the theater was John Wick 2, before that it was the first Planet of the Apes movie in the new series so I’m not much of a movie goer.

I guess. LOL 😀 I don’t really have much interest in the new movies, but I have a friend who has Psoriasis and has trouble doing much else. So, I go to the movies with her on Wednesdays. Problem is, I rarely see one on the list that I really want to see. Occasionally I am surprised, though.

Let’snot forget that the Republican Senators are responsible for Obamacare as they could have fought it and blocked it but they rolled on it. It was thrown on their desks on a Thursday and voted on ethe next day without anyonecreading or understanding what it was. A bill that stuck a fork in 20% of the American evonomy and they just said yes. That’s what they should be brought to task for.

Update: He’s still critical and is still on the machine that is basically being his lungs, but they thought he was stable enough to do a skin graft on his worst burn that was burned to his bone. They felt it was necessary to close it up to prevent infection. It’s still touch and go, but is better than yesterday.
My favorite racer told me today he is buying a fire suppression system for his car. It automatically sprays a foam in case of fire. I didn’t know they had such a thing, but it makes me and my daughter feel better that it is there. He has a fire extinguisher in his car but so did his friend, but he was unconscious after the wreck.

For some good news, Gracie is 6 months old now. Although they grow up too fast, she’s at that fun age where she giggles at everything, tries to talk to you and grabs everything. She sits up, is trying to crawl but is doing the army crawl. She’s as fat as a little pig. She weighs 20 pounds and is almost 27 inches long. Her brother is enjoying her trying to play with him and giving him kisses, except for when she grabs his race cars. Lol Although today he told a lady he would give her to her for a popsicle. Most of the time though he’s very protective of her and tells his mommy to not let that people touch her.
