this person and event never ever existed…pure fantasy..clue, no stilleto heeled shoes…no woman ever actually sat in the water contemplating an overelaborate bowl filled with various fruits while birds flew around dumping doo doo on the ground and eating worms. She would be thinking thoughts about what her husband failed to do last weekend on the list of honeydoos and whether he meant to leave the lid up last nite when he was the last one in the bathroom….Closest I can see is the similarity of hair dresser to the one used by Debbie Wasserman Shtupids.

Not true Joshua, Hottie Gram sat on the edge of the traffic circle fountain in Gettysburg. After a long day of Battlefield walks, she shed her hiking boots,, feet in the cool spring water, and splashed herself too cool off. Was quite a show, as I was across the street in the AC enjoying an adult refreshment……….

My only suggestion would be to place the homemade fudge lower to eliminate the need to climb. I wouldn’t have been on top of the refrigerator at 2am when we visited grandma when I was that age if they left it on the counter.

my grandmother, evil genius she was, cured my fudge raiding by putting a plate of cut up lye soap on the normal high up location of normal fudge, so when I got there and did a bite…I got the message….but never actually forgave her for making wonderful fudge and then hiding it from a sweet little loving kid like me….

In Sunday School as a child….they taught us these songs, and I believed them…and still do…but raising four of them, and two grandkids as well….I have come to believe that loving children and enduring children’s behaviors and quirks are not the same thing….I would point out that Jesus never actually raised any kids himself, and forgive if this is blaspheme because I am unclear on how that works since we do not stone sinners in the Presbyterian Church, at least not yet, but I think that even Jesus would have asked his mother to watch the kids for a moment while I go fishing with some buds and get salvation working among this bunch of layabout fishermen types….heck…my kids could have figured out how to roll a large stone away from a cave if the opportunity had presented it….and if it kept them seriously occupied for an hour or so rather than fingerpainting the dog, it would have been sorta ok with me depending on the time of day or the amount of sleep that I got the night before.

so here is the deal they taught us….and as a parent AND a Christian believer…today I would kinda have to bite my tongue if I sung it out loud.

        Jesus loves the little children
All the children of the world
Black and yellow, red and white
They’re all precious in His sight
Jesus loves the little children of the world

Whether you’re rich or whether you’re poor
        It matters not to Him
        He remembers where you’re going
        Not where you’ve been

        Jesus loves the little children
All the children of the world
Black and yellow, red and white
They’re all precious in His sight
Jesus loves the little children of the world

        If your heart is troubled
        Don’t worry, don’t you fret
He knows that you have heard His call
        And he won’t forget

        Jesus loves the little children
All the children of the world
Black and yellow, red and white
They’re all precious in His sight
Jesus loves the little children of the world

        All around the world tonight
        His children rest assured
That He will watch and He will keep us
        Safe and secure

        Jesus loves the little children
All the children of the world
Black and yellow, red and white

Downton Abbey Stars to Reunite for World War II Film

Here’s everything we know so far about The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society.

    http://www.townandcountrymag.com/leisure/arts-and-culture/a9174513/guernsey-literary-potato-peel-pie-society/?src=socialflowFB

The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society is proving to be something of a mini Downton Abbey reunion. Matthew Goode, who played Henry Talbot in the fifth and sixth seasons of the Masterpiece PBS show, Jessica Brown Findlay, who played Lady Sybil Branson née Crawley in the first three seasons, and Penelope Wilton who played Isobel Crawley in all six seasons have reportedly joined the cast.

Lily James, who portrayed Lady Rose MacClare for the three finals seasons, had previously been announced as the lead.

Inspired by the New York Times bestseller of the same name, the film is set on Guernsey Island following its German occupation during World War II, and will center around James’s character, a “free-spirited” writer named Juliet Ashton…

PAUL KRUGMAN ON ELECTION NIGHT: “If the question is when markets will recover, a first-pass answer is never.”

CNBC, just now: “The Dow Jones industrial average notched another milestone on Wednesday, breaking above 22,000 for the first time.”

Yes, stocks will take a dive someday, because sooner or later they always do. But Krugman’s claim was that Trump’s election was so uniquely awful that they might “never” recover. Like most of Krugman’s claims, that was bullshit.

For years I have wondered why it is that he has any credibility at all. But I really know the answer. Liberals do not want their idols to be right, they want them to say what they want to hear.

And there isn’t a bit of sarcasm in that statement. I believe it. The Never Trumpers are also that way.

Krugman is proof of the old adage that goes:

Economics is not a science. It is mostly philosophical number spouting.

    lilbirdee12’s prayer:

Our Heavenly Father, Your children come to you tonight to ask for healing and peace throughout our country so that we may return to being One Nation Under God. Guide us to be leaders in Your Kingdom, spreading Your Love and Salvation to all. Forgive us our sins and deliver us from evil.

Lord, we ask for a blanket of protection over all our troops and law enforcement who serve to defend and protect us. Bless our representatives with the strength and wisdom they need to achieve the path You have chosen for us.

Please place Your Guardian Angels of Protection around Donald Trump and Mike Pence and their families as they seek to lead America back to You.

Grant us patience, Lord, as the evil ones try to anger us and cause us to fall.
Spread blessings over Israel and Netanyahu.

We humbly ask that You please comfort those who are grieving and in pain.
Thank you Father, for Your Love and the gift of Life.

There is a group called Conservative Treehouse, and they don’t outright claim to be affiliated with CTH, but they don’t correct anyone who makes that assumption, and until an hour or so ago, they were linking to the CTH website, as if they are affiliated.

My guess is that they are monetizing the site, or will. I contacted them by messenger, and they are real smart asses.
