How many times do I have to say it? WP hosts this site. I have no control over certificates. Nobody else is reporting the problem, so perhaps it is on your end. I suggest taking a trip on google to read what others are saying about it. I already did. I have no idea what your computer setup is, so I can’t offer you any more assistance.

Again, the most common cause for a certificate error is a date/time mismatch on your computer. Check google.

Me, me, me. But I’m seeing errors related to the way WP passes video advertisements to the user’s browser from wherever they get served up from external from WP.
Sometime I see similar errors from YouTube videos in the threads, but it “seems” to be less frequent than the advertising errors.

I agree that there is nothing that can be done (short of using a text only browser that ignores multimedia). I think ImpeachEmAll has misidentified what the error is and it’s the same thing I was poorly describing.
I also think ImpeachEmAll creates half the problem with the hundred comments of nothing but links to external content (videos, animations, tweets, etc.) It’s the same complaints in the daily thread next door since before Trump, with smiley and others.
I find it a little hypocritical for me to make that general statement since I post multiple pictures daily for years now. OK. I’ll shutup now.

well…I am glad if some of the sickos get caught as long as someone figures out what to do with them that takes them out of play for a long time and maybe figures out if there is any way to do a Clockwork Orange rehab on them….a la Beethoven’s 9th.
Frankly, and seriously….I am very troubled where all of this non human sexualized machines stuff is heading…..even legally….you can do stuff with a machine that you would go to jail for doing with a human…and there is going to be a lot of court mess if the “sex toy” thing keeps on going….and there is too much money potential….like selling dope…to the dark classes for creepy entrepreneurs not to play the commercial side for all it is worth.
But what does it say about normal human relation between an adult male and an adult female….we have sexualized everything from tractors to fishing rods….

Even I have to look up words and phrases.
Probity is the quality of having strong moral principles; honesty and decency.
Ghost means invisible.
What he’s saying there, in that couplet, is that the people he sees around him, making jokes, engaging in braggadocio and puffing themselves up — say, in the workplace, or in the rap music industry — get to gross real quick, and that they reveal themselves to be lacking in probity by doing so. They reveal that if they have any probity, it surely isn’t visible. They reveal that they are insecure by doing so.
This guy is a wordsmith and a rap philosopher. A rare thing, indeed.

Eric Clapton is an absolutely amazing man.
His Crossroads guitar festivals, all four of them, every three years, were all the best. Every one of them. You can get them on DVD. There was one scheduled for this year, but I hear his health is such that they had to cancel it this time. Sad.

Good Evening Stellarites!
I just wanted to share a link with you to the blog post (still a bit of a work in progress) celebrating the Fourth Anniversary of my son Josiah’s Liver Transplant while it’s still the official date, July 30.
Here I’ve chronicled much of our journey up to Transplant, starting from when he was first found to have Liver Masses/Tumors up through the first couple of days post Transplant. There is a lot of material there but it is broken down by dates of original postings at the carepages blog, which is the source for the bulk of this post. It’s just gathered in one place & chronologically so that anyone who feels like encountering our journey there (through my eyes) can do so without having to wade through even more material encompassing many other issues, like the Brain Tumor over at cp.
I hope to write a brief update about how Josiah is currently doing later “tonight”…& as always, we so appreciate your prayers for him (& our family). Blessings to all, Valerie

Since some of you have benn asking for updates, I posted a more expansive update about Josiah’s situation on the CTH Prayer Request page:

Here’s the Cliff Notes version: 1st shower; decent w/meds; resting a lot; Respite Care Worker visited; he hung out for a bit with sibs & friends late but ultimately went to bed on his own.
He seems overall to be in good spirits but really doesn’t like dealing with the catheter…He/we appreciate all of your prayers & encouragement. I almost got him to post an update himself on the Prayer Request site, but that, if it happens, will have to wait. Blessings! Valerie.

SENIOR SEX
The husband leans over and asks his wife, “Do you remember the first time we had sex together over fifty years ago? We went behind the village tavern where you leaned against the back fence and I made love to you.”

A police officer sitting in the next booth heard their conversation and, having a chuckle to himself, he thinks to himself, I’ve got to see these two old-timers having sex against a fence. I’ll just keep an eye on them so there’s no trouble. So he follows them.
The elderly couple walks haltingly along, leaning on each other for support aided by walking sticks. Finally, they get to the back of the tavern and make their way to the fence The old lady lifts her skirt and the old man drops his trousers. As she leans against the fence, the old man moves in.. Then suddenly they erupt into the most furious sex that the policeman has ever seen. This goes on for about ten minutes while both are making loud noises and moaning and screaming. Finally, they both collapse, panting on the ground.
The policeman is amazed. He thinks he has learned something about life and old age that he didn’t know.
After about half an hour of lying on the ground recovering, the old couple struggle to their feet and put their clothes back on. The policeman, is still watching and thinks to himself, this is truly amazing, I’ve got to ask them what their secret is.
So, as the couple passes, he says to them, “Excuse me, but that was something else. You must’ve had a fantastic sex life together. Is there some sort of secret to this?”
Shaking, the old man is barely able to reply,”Fifty years ago that wasn’t an electric fence.”

Anthony Scaramucci’s wife demanded a divorce three weeks ago, while she was nine months pregnant, sources told The Post.
Deidre Scaramucci, 38, fed up with her three-year marriage to the new White House communication director, filed divorce papers on July 6 in Nassau County Supreme Court.
On Monday, while Anthony was in West Virginia with President Trump for the Boy Scouts Jamboree, Deidre gave birth to the couple’s baby boy James. As of Friday evening, a full four days after delivery, her 53-year-old husband had yet to meet his newborn son, though an associate close to Anthony said he visited the child late that night. He visited his Manhasset, L.I., homestead Saturday.
“When James was born, he sent her a text saying, ‘Congratulations, I’ll pray for our child,’” said a source close to the situation.

Well, let’s not give up. Trump is a very strong personality but he has a very strong respect for the Military leaders. I have hopes that Gen. Kelly will bring the order that the WH needs and that Pres. Trump will allow him to do that because of the respect he has for him.

Dang, hearing on three different sites that Trump canned Mooch already! Guys, I have to tell you, I have had it with all things political! Mooch was the first breath of fresh air in the Admin for quite some while. after two plus years of fighting my butt off, I have come to the point where I really do not care anymore. Someone light the dang fuse and just blow this puppy up. I will now take care of just me and mine. Let the chips fall where they may! We have ticked off Russia, North Korea is totally out of control, health care reform is going to be a bust, and all we are seeing is a game of musical chairs! I will check in for a great Nye breakfast and make sure all of you are doing ok.

It’s kind of a bummer, I liked him as well, but don’t let it discourage you from MAGA. POTUS has had his plate full with the leakers. Maybe now, with Gen. Kelly in place, things will go more smoothly.

Trump fundraiser Scaramucci joins Export-Import Bank
Financier Anthony Scaramucci, a prominent surrogate and fundraiser during President Donald Trump’s campaign for the White House, has joined the embattled Export-Import Bank in a top position.
Scaramucci became a senior vice president and chief strategy officer at the agency on June 19, Export-Import Bank spokesman Lawton King confirmed.
Scaramucci has also been under consideration for a number of other roles in the administration, including U.S. ambassador to the Paris-based Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development.
Transition officials had told reporters that he would become director of the Office of Public Engagement and Intergovernmental Affairs, a post held by Valerie Jarrett under President Barack Obama.
But POLITICO reported that White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus asked Scaramucci at one point to take himself out of the running because Trump couldn’t wait for his ethics review to be completed. Scaramucci had recently put his hedge fund up for sale in order to move into the administration.
