Wash Post and ABC, two impeccable news sources whose standards are beyond reproach, have conducted a poll that shows Trump’s disapproval rate has reached lows not seen under Obama or Clinton, not seen since Bush’s second term.
Well now, that couldn’t be because the MSM dared not savage Bush until 911 wore down and ignored the immoral, if not criminal, activities under Clinton and Obama, could it? The MSM, Wash Post up in the front of the pack, has been savaging Trump and creating crimes and half truths en masse since before the election. Working overtime to maximize any negativity and create falsehoods out of whole cloth the MSM has been the Kowakian monkey-lizard to the Rat Jabbas they’re now patting themselves on the back.
Keep sharpening those guillotine blades, we may have acuse for them yet.

The doctor is brilliant. Alex Jones cannot stop interrupting so he gets noticed. His show is sometimes good, and this Pieczenik is very informative and incisive…Alex was my focus as a joke. So many of the show guys like Hannity, and O’Reilly, and Jones, and others keep interupting their guests due to air time issues, they they mess up the logical thread.

This is why Cable and Radio talk hosts are difficult to actually like when they get a good guest on air and talk over them and try to summarize for them before they have even made their points.

    Spicer returns to the podium

    http://thehill.com/homenews/administration/342319-spicer-returns-to-the-podium

White House press secretary Sean Spicer on Monday will hold his first press briefing in nearly three weeks.

Spicer will address reporters at an off-camera briefing in the James S. Brady Press Briefing Room at 2 p.m.

It will be Spicer’s first briefing at the White House since June 28.

President Trump was in Europe for the Group of 20 summit from July 5-8 and traveled to France Thursday and Friday of last week, meaning there were no briefings at the White House.

The press secretary has largely been missing from public view in recent weeks

Spicer has taken on many of the behind-the-scenes duties of the White House communications director, a post that has been vacant since early June following the resignation of Mike Dubke.

My great grandfather who immigrated from Germany died of unknown, to descendants, causes. My dad said his father told him he would tell him when he was older. He never did. I once asked my uncle, who was in his 80’s if he knew, and he told me no, but he was uncomfortable and kind of stumbling a little. He was a very devout Christian, a psychologist who had practiced many years, an honest and forthright man. I’m not sure he wasn’t telling the truth, but is suspect so, and that’s really strange for him. What could matter so much about how a man died in 1884?

I’ll go looking. Been curious for a long time. I found a census page one time with him and my grandmother and their kids on it. If I remember correctly, it was prior to 1881 and my grandfather, their youngest child born that year wasn’t on it.

I also found some listings of the cemetery where they are buried, which is neat for a couple of reasons. First, I have lots of family for generations back buried there, a couple with some real humdinger stories that my uncles told me when we visited that cemetery. Second, the cemetery is way out on the plains of Kansas, not really close to anything at all, and it just seems so eerie that this windswept and quietly beautiful desolate spot I see so clearly in my memory has been found by technology.

One of the odd stories. Way, way back, early 1900’s one of the great greats couples divorced. Apparently they couldn’t or wouldn’t give up the house. So they built a wall through the middle of the house, front to back, floor to ceiling, and lived side by side with no contact until the first one died.

Well the VA’s resurrected one of their old ‘Death to the Vets’ programs.
Back in the 70s the VA was sending Vets appealing disability diagnoses all over the western US on the Vet’s own dime. After the September VA IG report showing Over 300,000 vets had died waiting treatment the VA agreed to the Choice program…I say agreed as there’s no doubt the VA brass put in poison pills to ensure their client base stayed enthralled to them.
The Choice program allows a Vet to go to a civilian provider if the VA can’t get him/her in within 30 days or if the Vet’s VA specialist is over 40 miles from the Vet’s VA clinic..and there’s the rub.
The VA has to get you in but there’s no saying when…you could be scheduled for 7:30 AM and live 100 miles from the specialist, requiring you to stay overnight and lose two days of work. See that ‘100’ miles I mentioned, thinking about that ’40 miles from your clinic’ I’d mentioned earlier? That’s 40 miles from the clinic where your VA primary care physician is, not 40 miles from where your specialist is.
My VA outpatient clinic is about two tires short of being a mobile home, it would draw second looks in a 3rd world country. Only tests it can do is draw blood, collect urine/fecal and open a window so you can put your hand out to see if it’s raining. If I want to get the hearing aid I have to go over 80 miles one way for testing and, later, for fitting. I’m 20 miles from the Mayberry VA trailer so that satisfies the regulation.
The VA undoubtedly influenced the inclusion of that mileage requirement, it is now as it was then a way of showing ‘backlog’ so they can request more money and more bodies which in turn gets them higher wages as they have more responsibility. Dead Vets, no problem, they just use their deaths as proof they need more money. It’s the same regulation that slowed them to send Vets all over the West to prevent their getting treatments or decisions on their disabilities while keeping their numbers high.
Thityfive Vets a day committing suicide, over 300,000 dead while awaiting treatment, the VA is complicit in the deaths of more American military than the combined deaths of thevKorean War, Vietnam and the GWOT. One ofbthebironies is that the decreases in combat deaths is lower as they have had better treatment in the war zone than they do back home.

I know thatbfor decades the biggest problem the NOLA DA’s office had was crappy police officer narratives. They’re still complaining about the quality of reports and as they’re not teaching English in school anymore I don’t see it getting more better ER.
My favorite is shootings, can’t remember how many reports I read that say the Vic was shot in the driveway, shot in the living room, shot in the street……certainly painful places to be shot in.
