    Are the voters dead or non-Republicans
    and Independent, Libertarian, or other
    who registered as Republican to vote for
    Trump? Will be interesting how many are
    registered as Democrat; but dead. 😉

        they’ve lost 2 cygnets this year that we know of but no one even saw them when they were really little so maybe they started with more. I hope the one little guy left makes it.

        And all the geese are still gone. Strange.

          Geese disappeared here too. Our purple martin colony collapsed after a red-tailed hawk chasing one slammed into one of the houses and tore the doors off. There’s always next year.

              None. They are smart animals, and they react to disturbances quickly. If they’re looking for nesting spots and if either the swans or predators bother them they’ll look for a more secure area as once they set out eggs they’re locked into that spot. Did predators get the cygnets?
              I’m pretty sure our local geese split this year as there was some construction on the lakeshore about a quarter-mile down and more fishing from boats. Then again I saw huge flocks of geese on a lake in a managed pasture area a few miles west so they could have found better feeding. Geese can be, well, goosey.

        The male is not particularly aggressive and I’ve only seen him go after geese and ducks that invade “swan” territory. They are both very protective of their young. Both will hiss and puff up if the dog is around or they feel threatened.

    This was a week of startling contrasts. The President reasserted (against a decades-long leftist attack on it) the significant achievements of Western civilization and the need to vigorously defend it. His speech prefaced the G20 meeting in Hamburg, where leftists rioted, burned, and looted while the G20 leaders ponced about and wined and dined in style, apparently oblivious to the havoc which their open border policies and multiculturalist mindset had birthed. As Trump worked successfully on trade and defense issues in Europe, his administration was quietly plugging security leaks and maladministration in our own bureaucratic underground.

      Seriously, has this man not done more in a few months for America than any presidential administration since Reagan? I know, just getting rid of Obama, and therefore stopping his daily damage was big, but Trump is really delivering IMO.

      Hasn’t been perfect, couldn’t be perfect. There are some people who are already slamming him because he hasn’t magically gotten to their whatever it is agenda yet. I’m just willing to believe and hope. I’m proud of President Trump and his administration.

      I don’t know the answer to your question but maybe they were headed to separate destinations?

      There is another video of POTUS and the Marine’s hat, it is from a different angle and you can see the pilot really enjoying the whole scene and then when POTUS gets on the helicopter he stops to poke his head in the cockpit (is that what it is called in a helicopter?) and say hello to the pilot and co-piolit. I can’t find it (yet) but I saw it on Fox.

      Imagine the relief of getting to fly President Trump around instead of The Beast who berated people for having the audacity to look her in the eye. Pfffttt, may she rot.

      More of the unending drumbeat of negative press pinprick reporting. These little stories are designed to keep a negative taint in the air about the Trumps. These little snippets disappear after a day or two, they aren’t something that’s supposed to stick around and be of long term concern, just keep the public perceptions of Trump in the negative zone.
      Meanwhile the Rats in Congress do all they can to stymie and non-Rat legislation and the media keeps churning out negative TV, printt and movie materials.

          I was referring more to the comments I’m seeing from talking heads insinuating that he embarrassed the Marine, somehow did something unpresidential…it’s just an u ending chipping away at him by the Clintonistas and Obamanauts. He could find a cure for cancer tonite and by tomorrow at dawn they’d find some way to make it a negative thing.

    Veterans To Remove The Flag And Get Out

    Perhaps it’s time to boycott Dave and Busters.

    “Degenerate liberals don’t want anyone to be allowed to express patriotism near them. This restaurant must be run by some of their snowflakes.

    In Kentwood, Michigan, a Dave and Buster’s told American Legion officers they had to take off their jackets because of “gang affiliation.” The jacket had an American flag, the prisoner of war flag, and a bald eagle on it. (via Military.com) The only “gang” these gentlemen belonged to was the “veteran” gang.

    Victor Murdock and Adrienne Brown, who are both American Legion Riders Post 179 had stopped at the restaurant to get some food. Instead of a meal, they were reprimanded for their show of patriotism.

    I think the real reason why they wanted them to remove those jackets is because some liberal was offended and complained to the management. Simply put, the bald eagle and the American flag are now reason enough for leftists to throw a fit — overly sensitive morons.

    It’s ridiculous, frankly, that our veterans had to deal with this. They only wanted to show their American and military pride, a pride we should all share. Telling them that they can’t show that pride is like shoving their sacrifice back in their face.

    If Dave and Buster’s want to turn away our veterans, then so be it; but I will no longer be a patron of their company. Unlike they do, I have American and military pride.”
