Don’t know if any of you remember the Katrina Glover-Shooting-Incident, I’d commented on it next door at length as a friend and some acquaintances were wrapped up in it.
In short the officers were acquitted by state courts but forvyears after that local pols and cop-haters in the media and community pushed for a second bite at the lynching Apple. A group went to D.C. at the height of the Obama ‘lynch the cops’ campaign and, supposedly with some NOLA-related DC political help, got Holder to authorize the witch hunt.
Part of the process wa to make Glover look like an innocent man standing in the road when a bloodthirsty cop murdered him. The narrative went from his being part of a looting op to his retrieving a suitcase full of stolen stuff for someone else to his just standing in the street with a suitcase full of baby clothes. As for the gun the cop who shot him said he had…well the two men (one his brother) who were with him and picked him up swear he didn’t have one…thst became the gospel,
Well a few days back another Glover was shot, not by a cop, making him the fifth member of the Glover family to be shot and killed in the last twenty years. Now how many of y’all know families who’ve had five member shot and killed on the streets? Jes another law abiding family victimized by …(fill in the blank). Yep, just astandin’ in the middle of the street with a suitcase full of baby clothes.

  12. Dovetailing with the math video Stella posted the other day, one about music and tuning.

If what they say is true, Joseph Goebbels invented A=440hz, and it was 432hz for all time before that. Fascinating video.

In the YouTube sidebar there are videos countering this, and I will watch them, too. As well as comparison videos, and popular songs re-tuned digitally to 432hz.

Oh, and this band just got dropped unceremoniously from their record label for saying bad things about SJWs and safe spaces, which is how I found this video.

Love the pic Stella. I’m going to a stand this weekend to load up on vegetables. Last year on the 4th, instead of burgers we had pinto beans, fried okra and squash, corn casserole, mashed potatoes and sliced tomatoes with cornbread, chow chow and squash relish. Sure was better than burgers.

This used to be a very common meal for us in the summer, but we don’t like fried foods as much as we used to, and don’t eat potatoes much anymore. And it’s a rip roaring lot of work to fry all that okra and squash up. I’m thinking about having corn salad instead of corn casserole, and maybe coaxing my DIL into making her delicious tomato pies instead of just sliced tomatoes. My son gave me ham hocks from the half pig he bought.

This is just a feast, southern style. Lots of family, lots of fun.

When I was a kid my dad owned a wholesale produce business. Back then I didn’t appreciate the stalls full of bounty, I just got excited when the farmers started coming in, so many off Sand Mountain, Lookout Mountain, and nearby communities in Georgia, Alabama, and Tennessee.

Now I look at that picture and my mouth waters. But I also look at it and think what a fertile land we are blessed to live in.

My cousins made fried onions and yellow squash, but it was mushy and I didn’t care for it. Then, another cousin was fixing it one day when I was at her house and I said I would try it. Hers was crispy and I ate so much it almost made me sick. I love that and fried okra. When I first served fried okra my now ex didn’t want any, but I talked him into it. After that, I always had trouble cooking enough to get some myself. LOL

Lost the beer bet again this morning. Top story was about a car that was being stopped by police for a traffic violation thst sped off and took officers on a hi-speed chase. Car crashed in the Eastern part of the city killing the woman in the passenger’ seat and the 2-year old child she was holding, driver shot and killed himself.
Nextvstory was aboutvfriends and family fostering in the next city over to mark the one year anniversary of a young woman manager of a fast food store who was brutally stabbed by an employee. She’d done her most bestest to help this turd but had to release him so he comes back to rob the store, she puts herself between him and the other employees so he starts slashing.
One of these days I’m going to get up and thevlead stories will be about something that doesn’t Center around the city’s infamous animal behavior. Been going on almost 40 years now but there’s still hope.

No, last time I worked Korea was ’99 but the NKs are infamous for kidnapping foreigners in other countries and taking them to NK. Most infamous case that comes to mind was the ’78 kidnapping of a famous SK actress, and later her famous SK director husband, to make films for a younger Kim Jong-il. That one went on for a decade.
If it did happen it would likely fall under the purview of State and State’s sacrificed thousands of citizens for political expedience so one more won’t make no difference.

Lotta people ask that in view of what State’s become. I despise them because of their being the primary instrument in the sellout of every POW since WWII. Yes we did get some back but when it came to those retained by the other side State weighed the political fallout from pushing getting them back and just let them rot in place.
When, some years ago, a family member who was working in Mexico was shot during a driveby and jailed for it needed help State just yawned. Luckily Instill had a friend elsewhere with juice at the Federale level and it got solved. Then there was thevtimevState blew our ‘cover’ in a Mideast country and nearly got us seriously hurt. Just get in a jam overseas and see how State takes care of your non-politically connected butt.

    Seen on Facebook:

Trump is an enigma. Policies I largely support; behavior of a boor that isn’t helping one little bit.
But I often pose this question:

Say you have a rare and difficult brain tumor. You’ve been to 2 doctors.. One has bad breath, is rude and officious and cold, but he has a remarkable record of success in dealing with this type of tumor; the other is a handsome, charming doctor who is always on time, explains everything completely, treats you with respect, but has a mediocre record of success.
    who would you choose?

    I know who I would.

I support President Trump and his tweeting. Mika is a twit, and has a daily megaphone that she uses liberally, making outrageous statements, including today when she said that President Trump doesn’t have a “love of country”.

That being said, this guy has a point.

I gave no doubt these mercy killings are going on here right now. How long did the ‘toe in the womb’ third trimester abortion murders go on before someone decided to blow the lid off?
How many docs/nurses take ‘corrective actions’ to terminate children they consider unsalvageable? Think that too gruesome to be true? How about the infrequent but still happening cases involving medical ‘angels of mercy’ euthanizing their charges?
How many doctors don’t do abortions not because they have moral qualms but because they fear the various kinds of fallout for doing so? You think they wouldn’t zap the severely damaged if it were made legal and insurance paid for it?

The circle is faithful and I’ll bet as clean as a whistle. Remember Dan Scavino started out as a caddie who just by luck of the draw ended up as Trump’s caddie for a single outing, Trump liked what he saw, Scavino went on to run one of Trump’s golf courses and now is in charge of social media for the White House and bears the title assistant to the president.

OK, word on that hi-speed crash is in. Occupants were black. State Police initiated a traffic stop, driver took off and SP pursued. Driver sped through city for miles at high speed until a steel pole and a building stopped his forward motion. Baby was in front seat, unrestrained, with mother, both were killed upon impact. Driver blew his own brains (apparently a small target) out begore police arrived at the car. Car had a stolen licence plate and that is probably what caused the perp to fail
Family members are blaming the State Police for pursuing him over a stolen plate! The fact that he had a stolen plate, that the child was endangered by being in the front seat, in his mother’s lap, unrestrained, and the driver chose to make a high speed run instead of staying and taking his lumps is of no consequence to them, they blame the police for chasing him and making him crash. These people vote.
Hizzonnuh the mayor is out of town so no comment but let’s see if he caves to the BGI and makes the New Orleans police scale back their pursuits. He’s gonna move forward those efforts to appease potential thug voters as much as he can.

One day I had enough and sent him an email to back off he President, telling him he was being unfair – imagine my shock when he went after me tooth and nail by name that night on his show…. and then he doubled-down on Bush… so do I care that Trump attacked him and his despicable girlfriend, Mika?
