    WaPo even picked this up yesterday. PETA hit a new low, and they’re still digging.

    1. Just bought it. Also bought Snarky Puppy’s We Like It Here on CD and DVD.

      My auntie out in the Boston area gave me a $25 Amazon gift card for my birthday.. I haven’t seen them in 25 years, and both of my Mom’s sisters still send love, and treat me like family, even though I don’t reciprocate. Cookies. Cards. Homemade fudge w/ walnuts.

      I am blessed. Privileged, I suppose. I don’t even know my aunts’ birthdays. I have to change that.

        1. I have all my aunts’ and uncles’ birthdays, now. Been texting with both my mom’s sisters all morning, and half of last night. One of them is a nurse, she texts me before 5:00 AM. That can be jarring, but then you see who it is, and you’re like, “Oh, okay. Hey!”

          My Chef uncle will be getting a birthday greeting later this month. He’s the one who had all the George Carlin albums on vinyl that we definitely weren’t allowed to listen to as kids.

          “Toledo Window Box”? What’s that mean, mom?

          Heh. Years later, I found out.
