      There’s your apache, Col.
      Had an LTC in my unit in the late 80s. He’d been an enlisted leg, went to Nam, got shot up and, after recuperation, volunteered for Cobra school. He went to Vietnam as a Cobra pilot…got hit. The man had more scars on him than almost anyone I’d ever met ( Roy Benavidez was #1) but went back a third time. Some people…

        I was volunteer by a three star……..to flight school……love watching those “Snake” work out, especially at night. Had a CW4 IP, relay a story about the NVA up north in ’70-71 (can’t remember the year) flight of 3 was working night ops, along a major infiltration route, gunship lit some flares when they rolled in, an NVA regiment was on the trail march formation 10 wide a thousand deep…… you get the picture, called for support……

          We had one in the Ohu Cat mountains come in, guns blazing, in support of a ROK platoon that had fixed a combined VV/NVA battalion. He came in at low-level and cut bsck on the tail rotor and did a couple of 360s while firing. Don’t know how effective it was but it sure looked good.
          Real aerial stars of the night were the AC-47s hosing down the pinned bad guys, looked like someone had bush hogged the entire site, nothing was left standing/undamaged.

    Looks like the predictions were right, Mayor Abu-Mussab al-Landrieu is going to be featured on several national news programs where proned talking heads will ask him about his enlightened dicktatorial destruction of the city’s Civil War memorials. .exoect a coup,e of BGI front companies to give him rewards for his continued Democratic paternalistic shepherding of the city’s oppressed black population.
    Don’t expect anyone to ask him why a long line of black mayors prior to him didn’t remove them or why the city’s black population still struggles with the same financial, educational, illiteracy, violent crime and other problems they had when he entered office. Sheesh, you’d think that with the huge tax breaks his family’s downtown commercial properties get he’d find a way to ease the plight of his aggrieved flock. Well, he did gets dem statues outta de way.

    Seen on Facebook:

    –This is why we need the electoral college. Our Founders were very wise.

    1. There are 3,141 counties in the United States;
    2. Trump won 3,084 of them;
    3. Clinton won 57;
    4. There are 62 counties in New York State;
    5. Trump won 46 of them.
    6. Clinton won 16;
    7. Clinton won the popular vote by approx. 1.5 million votes;
    8. In the 5 counties that encompass NYC, (Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Richmond & Queens) Clinton received well over 2 million more votes than Trump. (Clinton only won 4 of these counties;
    Trump won Richmond);
    9 Therefore these 5 counties alone, more than accounted for Clinton winning the popular vote of the entire country;
    10. These 5 counties comprise 319 square miles;
    11. The United States is comprised of 3,797,000 square miles;
    12. When you have a country that encompasses almost 4 million square miles of territory, it would be ludicrous to even suggest that the vote of those who inhabit a mere 319 square miles should dictate the outcome of a national election;
    13. Large, densely populated Democrat cities (NYC, Chicago, LA, etc) don’t and shouldn’t speak for the rest of our country.

      According to factcheck.org, some of these figures are incorrect. However, they are still impressive. Partial quote:

      “The Associated Press debunked the claim that Clinton only won 57 counties across the country in an article published Dec. 6.

      “The Associated Press finds that Clinton won 487 counties nationwide, compared with 2,626 for President-elect Donald Trump,” the article says.

      The news agency said that it “considers parishes in Louisiana as counties in election tallies” and that “Virginia’s count includes 95 counties and 38 independent cities.”

      The AP’s totals for Clinton and Trump are very close to what PolitiFact.com reported. The nonpartisan fact-checking website found that Clinton and Trump won 489 and 2,623 counties, respectively, based on preliminary county results from David Leip’s “Atlas of U.S. Presidential Elections.”

      As for that last claim in the email about New York, the numbers are largely correct. There are 62 counties in the state, and, as the email claimed, Trump won 46 of them and Clinton won 16. Clinton’s lead in the five counties that make up New York City is exaggerated, though. She received about 1.5 million more votes than Trump in those five counties, not the “well over 2 million” claimed in the email.”

        And then consider that the entire state of Alaska, which has approximately 665,000 sq. miles, is organized into 19 boroughs (instead of counties), some of which are city-boroughs and are comprised of only the metropolitan areas of the larger cities (Anchorage, Fairbanks, Juneau). By comparison, Iowa has 56,000 sq. miles and 99 counties. But then, allowing for population density, they are about the same. 30,000 people/county in Iowa; 31,000 people/borough in Alaska.

        My borough, the Kenai Peninsula, is the 4th largest borough in Alaska with over 16,000 sq. miles (slightly smaller than the state of West Virginia); it is larger than the 9 smallest states. It has a population of 55,000 people (fairly dense by overall Alaska standards of averaging 1 person per sq. mile).

        Guess I should have started with “WARNING: rabbit hole!” Sometimes I get fascinated by details.

      What we’ve been saying all along. Presidential elections are not races, they’re sales where the candidate’s sold to the most populous states regions of the most populous states. Trump went after those sreas tompeel votes away from Clinton but also directly went after those areas largely ignored by the Rat strategists.
      Trump’s going to have to really pull some economic rabbits out of a hat because the Rats won’t make the same mistake twice. They are going to keep up a constant drumbeat of manufactured bad press and general attack and with Emir Obama now yossing Shiite into thevgame you can bet his hordes of Latino, black and Moslem criminals will be using every tactic in the book to effect 2018 and 2020. His promises that once the masses takevover the poor and oppressed can loot at will should draw supporters.

        Yes. This post is meant to serve as ammunition against the many (see Facebook and Twitter) who believe that it isn’t “fair” that Hillary got more votes, but lost the election. Every shred of ammunition is required, or our political system will go the way of the 17th amendment, and may do so anyway.

He’s said his organization will try to effect changes at the local level…what better way than to have roving bands of Hutus-Americans disrupting honest voters?

    Our Heavenly Father, Your children come to you tonight to ask for healing and peace throughout our country so that we may return to being One Nation Under God. Guide us to be leaders in Your Kingdom, spreading Your Love and Salvation to all. Forgive us our sins and deliver us from evil.

    Lord, we ask for a blanket of protection over all our troops and law enforcement who serve to defend and protect us. Bless our representatives with the strength and wisdom they need to achieve the path You have chosen for us.

    Please place Your Guardian Angels of Protection around Donald Trump and Mike Pence and their families as they seek to lead America back to You.

    Grant us patience, Lord, as the evil ones try to anger us and cause us to fall.
    Spread blessings over Israel and Netanyahu.

    We humbly ask that You please comfort those who are grieving and in pain.
