Sometimes people post videos and then there are ads for more videos, I think that is how I fist saw that poor little kitten, but the ending was great.

A couple of years ago, I had a Peregrine falcon in my alley, when Tripod was still an outdoor cat. This bird could have eaten Tripod for breakfast, easily. He’s been through enough already. Almost two feet tall, this bird was. Huge! And Tripod’s no slim pickin’s, either.
I threw stuff at him, and chased him off. No, you cannot eat my cat. Beautiful bird, but no, you belong elsewhere.

Last night, about 2 or 3 A.M., Tripod was snoring loudly. When he snores, it’s like humming.
“Hmmm, hmmm, hmmm, hmmm.” I could hear him from my desk.
So I woke him up and said “Hmmm, hmmm, hmmm, hmmm!” with my face pressed into him.
😀 He purred.
