German shepherds are the cutest pups. I can still remember going to the airport to pick up Zauber as a ‘pup’. We got him straight off the airplane, we waited at cargo for it to land. They brought out this travel kennel about the size of a VW bug and we were torn between ‘that ain’t our dog’ and ‘why’d they put him in such a big box?’. When we opened it this huge beachball of black and tan fur rolls out and didn’t dtop growing until it took up the entire backseat of the Buick.

Maybe, just maybe, we need to ban masks in public, and allow their stupid parents and friends, their ignorant employers and the police see their face, and allow themselves to be cut off the funds or imprisoned and made to do hard labor.

The majority of the Mammas in Ferguson or every Chuck-E-Cheese in the nation actually sit around the house, when they sit around the house.

Maybe, just maybe, we need to evoke those EBT cards and allow life itself to force these people to learn to work hard, be willing to learn, to be humble, and to be financially responsible.

I bent my Mini in half over a steel rail. Calmly, and with purpose. It was as if a great and terrible burden had been lifted from me. I actually — “ahhh…” — sighed in relief. It was the most horrible, worthless piece of technology I’ve ever owned, before or since, coupled with the most horrible, worthless operating system ever made by a group of “diverse” people with no real skill at anything other than checking the right “diverse” boxes on their resumes.

When a company’s primary goal is a “diverse” workforce, making a usable, good product is no longer the company’s primary goal. The only thing, before or since I turned my Mini into a flip-phone, that I have so happily destroyed is malware, and the contents of my cat’s litterbox.

Or you go with Linux and pick one variant out of hundreds, and buy a stack of three-inch-thick books that stands taller than you, x2, like every Linux user I’ve met, and spend all your time trying to figure out arcanum.

I like Windows. I’ve never had to read tomes on it. Maybe since I’ve known it’s progression for the causal to middling-level user since early versions of MS-DOS, it’s easy for me. The dreaded Registry? Heck no. That’s arcanum. Thing is: I don’t need to know the insane arcane workings of the Windows Registry, but I can if I want to.

If Apple makes a car, they’ll lock the hood, the trunk, and the doors. Every nut and bolt in the wheels will only be removable by Apple. You’ll probably even have to use Apple gasoline, engine oil, and wiper fluid — and there will be sensors in the various tanks that can tell if it’s really Apple-approved. And since it’s a self-driving car they plan on making, it will only take you to areas approved by SJWs.

Over the last fifteen years the grab by business and government for personal information is unprecedented. Microsoft and Cortana show why Windows 10 is free…you and your life have basically become MS property.
You have to get the latest and greatest as Gates stops supporting his previous editions and everyone with an app for Windows has to follow so at some point you’ve got battery powered coaster. I was around when the Beltway suits were developing ways of hacking into our lives and where I knew it would be intrusive I never thought the public would be so accepting of it. People better at the game than I knew that within one generation the population would believe that everbody everywhere was just waiting to hear every detail of their lives while business and government were drooling at the possibility of their opening up their lives to analysis and profiling. A spoon full of sugar makes the suppository go up.

But for all of you that are behind like me there is a new gender words out there that actually affects most of us..Look for it on you next governmental form you might have to fill out.
You know we have the words transgender, bisexual, gay, lesbian, and homosexual.
Well the new word out there is Cisgender. It is “a term for people whose gender identity matches the sex that they were assigned at birth. Cisgender may also be defined as those who have “a gender identity or perform a gender role society considers appropriate for one’s sex” Strangely if was once a derogatory term used by gays, and transgenders to describe straight people, and now its the politically correct term for straight people.
FYI-its now OK/politically correct to call someone who is gay queer.

Going back down to the dark side, am constantly astonished, now more so than ever, at how self-centered and thoughtless the young guys are. Even in torrenting, everyone does a hit and run, a driveby, with absolutely no sharing whatsoever, even with Wikileaks.

The level of cynicism is something never before witnessed. The dark to the deep used to be just scary. Going down now is positively terrifying. Having not been down since Mar 2016, it seems the bad guys have taken over in just one short year. None of the good guys remain, altho our head guy has recently returned. Wandering alone in the dark now is truly not for the faint of heart. It used to be fun. No longer.

But there is always hope. The Route 66 torrents – once the most popular – are dead, but the 70s TV shows are still active, and all the originals are still upstairs. Perhaps one of the new kids will want some of the very first ones put up, Superman and Combat. Perhaps a fake moustache would help? WP, some music…

kin, you want some Leave It To Beaver, Flipper, the original Lassies? They are upstairs as well.
Will be quiet now, and good, promise, just like Tucker.
Stella, thx 4 letting me rant.

Around 2005 or so, there was a group of us. We went down to the dark side, the dark/deep web. We went down to try to save a few kids.

We were elite. There is nothing – repeat, nothing – we can not do (burned up more than a few motherboards). Membership was by invitation only. Rcvd mine in 08, never looked back. We were from Japan, Ireland, Russia, UK, Poland…you get the idea. We were shut down many times, seemingly permanently in 08, then again in 11, 12, and so on. We always found a way to resurface, tho.

Left about a year ago, recently returned. All the good guys are gone, no idea where. No matter. There will be another. There always is, you know. And no, you do not want to know more (and myself would not say more, anyway).

Early on in their careers just about all cops feel that need to ‘save’ the various afflicted they run into. It’s an almost genetic need in people, nothing wrong with it, but it don’t take long before you discover that there are many, many people out there who don’t want to be saved. They are very happy wallowing in what we call filth.
Ask any cop how mant crack or heroin addicts come crawling to them, begging to be taken to rehab. Just about any street cop can think of any number of users s/he’s busted who give you the old ‘I wanna get intonrehab’ line, they know it’s what’s expected in those situations. What they really want is another fix.
We have hoards of homeless kids in New Orleans living on the streets. They sell sex for eating/drug money and revel in the city’s 24/7 party atmosphere. Some just disappear, some get killed, it’s hard to tell as the only ones who keep track of them, so to speak, are each other. We have a number of organizations out there ‘rescuing’ them but their rescued ranks are soon restockednd no one really has a lock on how long the rescued ones stay rescued.
Don’t mean to sound cynical, just too many years wading through the mire of potential rescuees, I’ve just decided to concentrate on rescuing my own, that’s fulltime enough.

Someday someone will write an understandable book about this subject for the laymen like us. By someone I mean Kurtzweil’s Singularity or something. Because humans are de-motivated to such writing by fear. If the Singularity gains a modicum of sentience, it’ll write a novel, and will have a reason for doing so, and no fear of doing so.

Basically, Joshua, the WWW is about 10% of the internet. No search engine that most people even know about can even find anything on the other 90%. That’s “down”. Underground, underwater, the abyss that stares back. I prefer to stay “up here”. There are certain search terms I won’t even use, ever, because I don’t want to go there. When you hear about the “dark web” or the “deep web”, and such, those modifiers are accurate.

2nd doctor, wife arrested in genital mutilation case

    http://www.detroitnews.com/story/news/local/detroit-city/2017/04/21/second-doctor-arrested-genital-mutilation/100741450/

Federal agents arrested a second doctor and his wife Friday in a widening conspiracy involving female genital mutilation and members of a Muslim sect.

Dr. Fakhruddin Attar is accused of letting Dr. Jumana Nagarwala perform mutilations at his Burhani Medical Clinic on Farmington Road. His wife, office manager Farida Attar, also was arrested and is accused of helping Nagarwala perform the mutilations, according to a 14-page complaint unsealed Friday in federal court.

The arrests are the latest development in the nation’s first female genital mutilation case, which is providing insight into a small, insular Muslim community in Metro Detroit and an illegal procedure performed on young girls.

Lord, we ask for a blanket of protection over all our troops and law enforcement who serve to defend and protect us. Bless our representatives with the strength and wisdom they need to achieve the path You have chosen for us.

Please place Your Guardian Angels of Protection around Donald Trump and Mike Pence and their families as they seek to lead America back to You.
