The Attorney General spoke this afternoon at the beginning of the White House Daily Briefing, and addressed what actions are being taken by the State Department against cities and states that refuse to honor ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) detainment requests for illegal aliens who have committed a crime, or have been accused of a crime.
If cities, counties or states refuse to comply with Immigration law, they will lose grant money that is provided by the Department of Justice. In addition, the DOJ will make every effort to recover grant money that has already been provided to those government entities that continue to refuse compliance.
While supporters of sanctuary cities, counties or states refer to U.S. Immigration law as “policy”, make no mistake, refusal to comply is breaking the law.
Well, this is a start. I don’t know how much difference it will make, but I hope it will make some.

There is an issue about state’s responsibility when it come’s to federal issues,,, such as immigration. But AG Sessions is not going to award grants where the requirements are not met. I think it is really smart and hope it holds up…

Much of those grants the states/counties/cities are for is to COVER the extra expense aligning with the federal mandates bring to that jurisdiction. Bean counters can figure this out, and will, and Sessions is on good legal standing to recoup misused federal funds which were taken with no intention of using as stated in the grant application/award. This is going to get interesting and, dare I say it… *FUN* to watch!!
Crap. Can somebody tell me how to bold and italicize? Used to be the asterisk did the trick… Please and thank you very much…

It feels like the beginning of a civil war:
the Deep State (Cities/city government), which is far Left Vs. the Executive Branch.
With both houses of Congress sitting at the Risk™ board and rolling the dice.

Good to see you!

The Pong I had had a circular selector switch and you could do handball or hockey, too. It, I believe, was made by Tandy/Radio Shack, and had a main unit with all the switches and selectors on it, and a secondary unit wired to it that just had a rotary dial, for Player 2. Just hook the RF modulator to the antenna screws on your TV, and… dang, I’m old.

We’ll show ’em, we’ll just fill the prisons with ‘mexican’ criminals. Oh, wait, many prisons across the US are already fill of ‘mexican’ criminals. Think we can store ’em in Pelosi and Feonstein’s garages in the meantime?
