    Love the picture up top, Miss Stella. Looks like my neck of the woods. The wildflowers are in full bloom as we speak. Nowhere near their peak though. Got the coffee brewin’ for the rough-n-tumble night crew here. Coffee up y’all. I doubt this week will be any less adventuresome than the last few. Let’s see what else they’re gonna throw at us.

    Stella has suggested Tara Ross’ website for more detailed American History. Ms. Ross is an author and a constitutionalist who publishes, on her website, “This day in American History”. She writes quite well and I’ve also become a fan. While, because of time issues, I cannot incorporate Ms. Ross’ writings here, I do suggest subscribing to her web newsletter for historical information in depth in your morning email. The signup for her newsletter is at http://www.taraross.com/ and I will be including this information at the end of my general history posts.

    Incredible.

    This may exceed the bounds of fair use, but…
    It’s really terrible how some teachers in Australia are failing to respect the cultural imperatives of their New Australian students.

    Teachers at a primary school in Sydney, Australia have been threatened with beheading and other violence from young Islamic students, prompting one of them to quit her job. Students as young as those in Year 5, according to the Daily Telegraph, are making the violent threats and pressuring others to read the Koran at Punchbowl Public School in Sydney.

    Documents given to the newspaper allege that three staff members have taken a leave of absence owing to stress, received counselling and been awarded compensation after bullying from Islamic students.

    One female teacher reportedly quit her job after it got too much for her. She claims she quit after receiving death threats to her family from her year 5 and 6 students, with some saying they would behead her. The teacher also said she made numerous complaints back in 2014 about the extraordinary behavior in the class. For example, she said, she was abused by students after she stopped them from hanging a Syrian flag in the classroom.

    In another example, she claimed she was pushed into a corner by students who began marching around her chanting the Koran.

    Frankly, if the woman hadn’t quit, she should have been fired. What right does she have to tell these New Australians, who are every bit as Australian as those descended from British convicts and shipped off to colonial Australia, that they should not be hanging Syrian flags, threatening her family, and promising to behead her.

    After all, those are just New Australian customs, every bit as Australian as kangaroos, koalas, and gay pride parades, and they should be respected accordingly.

    They are standing on Australian dirt, therefore they are magically Australian people. Not.

      • I could see Hannity talking about it, especially since he is Catholic. The Liberty High School story is on today because AG Paxton is questioning the school’s superintendent as to why non-Muslim students are claiming to be excluded from praying in the classroom. If it’s a dedicated Muslim prayer only room, it’s a discrimination issue.

    According to The Astute Bloggers, US District Court judge Derrick K. Watson had lunch on March 15th, in Hawaii, with former President Obama. Their rendezvous was documented in a photograph on the restaurant’s Facebook page.

    How long before Noi takes down the picture?

          In all my life, nobody’s been offended by “brother”.

          If he was currently a pastor, I would call him “pastor”. I call the local preacher from the Presbyterian church by his first name, and “brother” and he doesn’t mind at all. Nearly everyone else in town calls him “Father Mike”. But he’s my friend. And I’m not, nor will I ever be, Presbyterian.

    I’m watching the Comey hearing. It is an amazing horse and pony show the democrats are simply lying and saying I know you can’t respond but I want to get it into the record. Really a kangaroo court.

    Comey has been a smug stoned faced rat, mostly answering I can’t comment on that to republicans and letting democrats ramble and then asking them to rephrase their question so that he can answer them on a “general” level.

    Then we finally got Rep. King and he asked Comey about the small circle of people who knew that Comey gave Trump the fake Russia dossier and within hours that fake dossier was published in almost it’s entirety in the press. Rep King said that it was a very small circle that was present for that meeting it was Comey, Rogers, Brennan, Clapper andTrump. King then went on to say that if Comey is serious about finding the leaker that such a small circle would be a good place to start.

    Comey refused to answer if there was anyone else present for the meeting.

    King sai d and I quote I’m not saying it was you.

    Comey the stoned face rat was the most animated that I have ever seen him his eyes got big and animated his hands were flailing and he was rustling around in his seat.

    Comey was really upset you could see it. He was so flustered and spouted some nonsense before he said about the meeting in question;

    ”I’m not going to confirm something that was classified.”

    But Comey then went on to say;

    I’m not going to help people that did something that was unauthorized. thereby confirming that information that was classified was leaked from that meeting in particular.

    And a quote from Snake Comey that every FBI director would make who gave a rat’s butt about felonious dissemination of classified information;

    ”Even Washington and Lincoln complained about leaks.”

    Good grief. Comey now saying that the Russians were very loud in their intrusion so they were easy to detect. Sure James.

    Go to hell Comey you traitor.

      Folks next door are labeling Adm Rogers a traitor as well as Comey. Am thinking they are incorrect. The Uniparty inquisitors are asking the incorrect questions again, imo.

      Trump/Trump Tower was not “wiretapped.” The server outside Trump Tower (used for advertising?), for which the FISA was issued, was hacked and metadata changed to implicate Russia, probably by Brennan/CIA/McMullin/Clinton.

      The Flynn phone call was probably intercepted by GCHQ, who monitors the Dominican Republic. Flynn was in the Dominican Republic at the time. The contents of Flynn’s phone call was probably given to Brennan/CIA/Obama. Adm Rogers probably had no knowledge of this one, imo. Flynn phone call was on 29 Dec, iirc, which is after the Nov Rogers trip to Trump Tower, and Adm Rogers was likely out of this loop.

      The ones who will pay for all this corruption are the American people. Half give up in disgust, the other half collectively enter psychosis.

        Comey butted in before Swalwell could progress to his question and said “I say that we have no evidence to support them.”
