    Very interesting Clapper ain’t going under the bus. If there was a FISA warrant he says that he would have absolutely known about it and there was none. (Yes I know and they didn’t put citizens under surveillance either šŸ™„).

    Just what the democrats need their first real civil war amongst themselves.

    Obama’s spokesperson said Obama didn’t order it.

    John Favreau says Iā€™d be careful about reporting that Obama said there was no wiretapping. Statement just said that neither he nor the White House ordered it.

    šŸ˜Ž Do the democrats really want us to believe they have a genuine “Who done it?” on their hands, at this point it really is incredulous for them to be going with “We know Trump and his inner circle colluded with nefarious Russian characters to steal the election but we never investigated it, we just know it.”

    But that does seem to be the song that they are playing.

    Good grief.

    Comey is correct, of course. Obama did not need to order anything.
    Lynch/McCabe did not need anyone to tell them what to do and how to do it.

    Even if Lynch/McCabe did need an order, either Clinton could have done that.

    Brilliant move by Pres Trump again, imo. Accuse the one known innocent.

      Things get so confusing, the FBI can’t refute allegations such as RussiaGate because it would be just too much, but, the director of the FBI is telling the head of the DOJ to refute allegations because it would just be the right thing to do.

      FBI’s mum on Comey’s statement as is Justice, all statements from either agency can be expected to be run by a battalion of Rat spinlawyers and at least three NY Times crossword composers.
      I particularly like how senior FBI ofgicisls are worried that this accusation will weaken the bureau’s credibility. Oh yeah, like the Agency labs getting caught manufacturing phony evidence and using ‘experts’ with phony credentisls wasn’t enough. Then there’s that whole Ruby Ridge and Waco mess…but then DoJ came to their rescue in the past do why not now? BTW, before Trump gets too vocal in whacking the Department of Jerks and the FBI he might want to remember what happened to Randy Weaver and Randy wasn’t being anywhere a threat to thr hegemony of the DoJ team that Trump is.

        Trump was very smart imo to keep his personal security. Far too many rats and snakes in all departments of the government.

            That’s a good question. There’s nothing to really prevent him from keeping some personal security around. He can be free to hire from a potential labor pool unfettered by the hiring restrictions of the Federal system.
            As many enemies as he seems to have in the DoJ, FBI and intelligence community I would be nervous about a posdible grassy knoll situation were I in his Mantellassis.

              Interesting theme. I did some digging around and found that the more liberal news sources panned Trump using his own security back before the election and continuing to use them, in one capacity or another, post-election. Seems the MSM is adamant that he dump the private security and take the government supplied protection. The learning curve’s been much berter since those Kennedy…Ford…Reagan things.

                Concern…yeah, that’s the word. He’s a smart guy and I understand he’s a bit of a conspiratorial type so I think he’ll keep his people around to some degree.
                The US has a wide hisyory of ‘regime change’ overseas – and some would argue domestically – when it sees fit. Even inside the same agency the various sections won’t know what each other is doing so there’s no telling what rats are in the pantry. I find that analogy especially relevant after eight years of the King Rat.

              This article from January (not familiar with the source) says that Schiller is part of the White House team, and that (as of January):

              For now, Schiller, who was appointed Director of Oval Office Operations earlier this month, is the only security team member to gain a spot in the White House. But questions remain on what form, if any, the rest of Trumpā€™s private security and intelligence force will take post-inauguration.

              According to Secret Service Director Joseph Clancy, the private force is currently operating in parallel to the Secret Service. ā€œTheyā€™re not in any of our meetings … theyā€™re not armed. Theyā€™re more of a staff function than a security function,ā€ Clancy told CNN earlier this month in his first interview since Trumpā€™s election.

              Clancy also denied rumors of conflict between Secret Service agents and Trumpā€™s private security. ā€œThere is no friction at all,ā€ Clancy said, adding that the Secret Service maintained the sole responsibility of protecting the president and that, in the case of a threat, private security would not interfere.

              Although Clancy described them as working in more of a staff function, these are still private security contractors. Trumpā€™s campaign continued to pay security service provider XMark LLC after Election Day and its officials were seen policing the crowds at post-election Trump rallies, according to Politico.

      What? The Wapo says this is a coverup for Sessions “lying” to Congress?

      Bottom line (my opinion). Trump has basis for the allegations, but not able to release details yet.

      Sessions didn’t lie.

            I see it as an opening shot in what will be an ongoing barrage. You throw enough stuff out there and every Obama ‘believer’ will find something to bolster his/her wavering hopes.
