Late dinner tonite so we went quick…BLT poboys on french. For a side I did something I haven’t done in a while, made potato salad out of the red potatoes we had with boiled crawfish yesterday…usually ain’t none left. Nice creamy dressing with egg went well with that hot, Rex crab boiled crawfish taste.
Probably gonna make a frittata with tne extra crawfish we hsd left. We’re gettin’ old, used to be there were no leftover crawfish or related anything.

This day in American History: March 5

1870: The Boston Massacre. On the cold, snowy night of March 5, 1770, a mob of American colonists gathers at the Customs House in Boston and begins taunting the British soldiers guarding the building. The protesters, who called themselves Patriots, were protesting the occupation of their city by British troops, who were sent to Boston in 1768 to enforce unpopular taxation measures passed by a British parliament that lacked American representation.
British Captain Thomas Preston, the commanding officer at the Customs House, ordered his men to fix their bayonets and join the guard outside the building. The colonists responded by throwing snowballs and other objects at the British regulars, and Private Hugh Montgomery was hit, leading him to discharge his rifle at the crowd. [Accounts are in conflict; some say Pvt. Montgomers lost his balance and his weapon was unintentionally discharged.] The other soldiers began firing a moment later, and when the smoke cleared, five colonists were dead or dying—Crispus Attucks, Patrick Carr, Samuel Gray, Samuel Maverick, and James Caldwell—and three more were injured. Although it is unclear whether Crispus Attucks, an African American, was the first to fall as is commonly believed, the deaths of the five men are regarded by some historians as the first fatalities in the American Revolutionary War.

1923. Montana and Nevada pass the nation’s first old age pension laws. Montana’s coverage provides $25 monthly to residents over the age of seventy.

1933: To halt widespread withdrawals and create time to restore confidence, President Roosevelt orders the nation’s banks to close for a ten day “bank holiday”.

1946: Winston Churchill gives his “Iron Curtain” speech. In one of the most famous orations of the Cold War period, former British Prime Minister Winston Churchill condemns the Soviet Union’s policies in Europe and declares, “From Stettin in the Baltic to Trieste in the Adriatic, an iron curtain has descended across the continent.” Churchill’s speech is considered one of the opening volleys announcing the beginning of the Cold War.

1963: The hula-hoop is patented. An estimated 25 million were sold in the product’s first four months.

1964: U.S.A.F. advisory team sent to Laos

1966: Near the very height of U.S. involvement in the Vietnam War, on March 5, 1966, American popular-music fans made a #1 hit out of a song called “The Ballad Of The Green Berets” by Staff Sergeant Barry Sadler.

Thinking about the wire tapping fiasco kept me awake last night.

Paul Ryan said that he read the reports about the Russian interference and the reports given to congress by the intelligence community stated no nefarious connection between the Trump circle and Russia.

Paul Ryan (as much as I dislike him) would not lie on national television on a point that could so easily be refuted especially since he doesn’t want to yet meet the wrath of President Trump.

Several people have come forward to say yes indeed there was an investigation.

Howard Dean said correctly that a FISA warrant requires a reasonable cause, Dean then went on to make the mistake that fellow democrats and the MSM has made. Dean and others assumed that the FISA warrant was validly sought, that there was probable cause and the warrant was lawfully awarded and executed.

I’m guessing that it was not. There was no probable cause, you can take that to the bank.

The first FISA warrant was denied, then in October a second FISA warrant was granted. I believe that it is significant that President Trump mentioned that the first one was denied. That means Trump has leverage and knows what he is talking about.

Both Obama and Hillary expected Hillary to win but by October they also knew it was going to be a close election, remember the second warrant was sought in October. Hillary was actively seeking dirt on Trump and Obama was looking to safeguard his legacy.

Who would be the wiser if things had gone as planned and Hillary was Madame President? The PTB bet the family farm that Hillary was going to win.

Obama’s surrogate did not give a denial he gave the appearance of a denial. In fact the statement lends credibility to the fact that yes Trump Tower was under surveillance under the Obama administration.

Kevin Lewis, issued a statement that did not deny there was a wiretapping but did deny that Obama ordered one.

“A cardinal rule of the Obama administration was that no White House official ever interfered with any independent investigation led by the Department of Justice,” the statement said.

“As part of that practice, neither President Obama nor any White House official ever ordered surveillance on any US citizen. Any suggestion otherwise is simply false.”

A FISA warrant must have legitimate definable cause and there is no way that Obama was not aware of what was happening with his people.

President Trump is a sharp cookie, I imagine he has fingerprints. Obama has made himself an enemy that he is going to regret.

No president can allow 4 Americans to die on foreign soil without lifting a finger to help them and then lie to the faces of their parents, and yet……

Remember all the reports of the Obama administration destroying documents after Trump won? Obamanites must have been putting out fires from November 9th through January 19th.

Sessions (TheLaw), Kelly (TheEyes) and Bannon (TheStrategist) are meeting with President Trump this weekend. I am pleased President Trump is circling the wagons rather than acquiescing to the plethora of nincompoops raging against him for speaking the truth.

We all know how much President Trump values loyalty, I think that the democrats and MSM going after Session, who was the first republican to stand strongly behind candidate Trump was the last straw for President Trump and we are going to see a mighty counterpunch.

Trump has told us from day one exactly who he is. A loyalist with a wicked counterpunch.

Obama opening the doors to all the agencies to get their hands on classified information is a whole other ball of tacks.

It’s been incredibly painful to watch the leftists attempts to destroy Sessions. He is a very fine man, and if that was the last straw for Trump, then it was worth it and Sessions will come out on top. I’m sure President Trump was waiting for the perfect opportunity to use his “counterpunch” and Trump supporters are ready to see serious repercussions on the enemies of the state. Time to buckle up, it’s going to be a wild ride!

What I was referring to yesterday. HOWEVER, you can bet that if Obama ordered the taps he had his lawyers parsing the daylights out of the law and writing a CYA position paper.
There were ways, back when it sort of mattered, that the lawyers found a way around the Posse Comitatus allowing military to collect intel on civilians. There are few, if any, Federal laws that don’t contain their own escape clauses and even if the investigation finds something that’s just the beginning of the legal process and thsy can drag on for years.

There are all the obstacles that you mention and more but they have an enemy in the White house now and none of them know how much President Trump knows or has managed to piece together, the gems have grown slothful in their defense because a defense other than one that is regurgitated by the media and made to pacify the masses is all that has been required of them for decades.

I post this excerpt from the article for others who may, like me, although I am no special snowflake, have a delicate political nature and sometimes skip the articles when I feel full up on negative info. I found this section very encouraging.

‘In other words, Obama’s concerns about Russian hacking were negligible enough that he didn’t think they were worth pursuing until Hillary lost the election. The current frenzy about Russian hacking was ginned up solely to damage the Trump Administration, and not because of any real concern about national security.”’

‘Thomas Lipscomb finds nothing surprising in all this:’

‘1) Of course Obama did every vile sneaky thing he could to screw up Trump’s early days in the WH. Fortunately he is very lazy and not very smart, and without an Axelrod to do his dirty work, this is a minor annoyance.’

‘2) Of course the Dems want to use “contact with the Russians” as some kind of magic talisman to divert from the total disaster of their defeat. Flynn, Manafort, Sessions, Bud Abbott and Lou Costello, whomever. It doesn’t matter in the least. The fact is the oncoming 2018 election has Dems waking up in the middle of the night screaming’

‘3) Of course moving all this legislation through Congress is going to take some pretty skillful work…. this is not a major emergency that needs to terrify us on every news occasion. No matter what happens, the world is not going to end.’

‘4) Of course Obama wants to be a key stumbling block and possibly destroy Trump…. but his ability to destroy is usually best exhibited when he is trying to help. Ask what is left of his political party. He hasn’t got the power, and he can’t raise the money (look at his “library” fund raising. … he will be a flop at this as well as everything else he does. Don’t let the press halo effect around a total failure fool you.’

‘ 5) The media frenzy is just funny. They can’t even get a good negative story right in the details…. They have lost the ability to report, everything is narrative and editorial. You will find cat videos on YouTube more enlightening.’

Exactly this, that is the line that stood out to me. Add arrogant Obama thinks he is untouchable, just like Hillary it wasn’t until Trump stepped to the plate that Hillary had any notion that she was vulnerable. Obama is too stupid and narcissistic to realize that he is vulnerable because he has done nothing through his own efforts but been dragged along by his masters puppet strings.

I go back to my earlier post, the lawyers will be playing word games with this for a long time. If they can get someone from inside of the POtuS’s inner-circle to throw himself on his sword the fawning throng of Obamanauts will be satisfied their demigod is innocent and was slandered by Trump. Don’t forget, we have no investigstion in place yet, the wrangling over how the investigation will be held and the scope of its reach hasn’t even begun. Fast forward to all of the Congressional breaks coming up and how things left undone tend to begin anew if not set in place before the Congress adjourns for one of its breaks.
Rats want this investigation, any for that matter, into Obama’s illegal activities quashed. I think that this is the tip of a possible iceberg of illegality that no Rat, and quite possibly a few RINOs, don’t want further exposed. I’m sure there are people in the various Federal departments that didn’t like Obama who are leaking info just as there are Obama supporters who are trying to hide it. This is going to be another interesting mess to watch play out.

The reason I learned the phrase, initially:

I was standing in a bank drive-thru, on foot, cashing my paycheck, because the bank proper hadn’t yet opened for business — I didn’t have a pen. I asked the Mexican dude in the truck in the other lane if he had a pen I could use for a second. All eight kids in his extended-cab pickup said “NO!” all at the very same time. I just nodded and resolved to learn how to say “May God bless you, my brother.” in Spanish, Polish, and Czech.

Because why not? I could learn all the cuss words instead, I guess.

Or even something relatively neutral, like “Welcome to my country!” Heh.

Q: What do folks here have for audio where they sit and read bloggery?

I use an ASUS Xonar Essense ST audio card, midrange, not too high-end.

500W Denon receiver, giant Polk Audio subwoofer, way too big for my apt so I keep it’s own volume at about 25%, and 5 surround speakers.

Basically I sit inside a little concert hall here, as loud or as quiet as I want it to be, depending on whether I have neighbors at home or not, or whether the store beneath me is open or not. I crank the music on Sundays, because they don’t open on Sundays.

I can’t imagine using earbuds, or even my Audiotechnica studiophones, because even that’s not real bass. If my chest can’t feel it, it’s just an approximation of bass. An illusion. It’s not really bass, it’s just midrange taking advantage of the shape of your ear canal, and pretending.

I can’t stand tiny (or tinny) audio. Music coming out of a phone speaker kind of offends me. I mean, yeah, I had a Radio Shack Flavorradio in the late 70s, but we advanced, us humans, to stereophonic sound and actual bass, and I don’t prefer to go back in time in that regard. If I wanted that at least I’d be authentic and get a Gramophone and an ear-trumpet.

I’ve worked with people that absolutely cannot work unless they are listening (and forcing others to listen to) their rap music, even if there is other music playing on the in-house speakers, so they set up their phones on the line, in a stainless bowl or a 1/6th pan. Makes the kitchen sound like a danged video arcade. Talk about dissonance. I don’t need to be listening to Bill Withers’ classics and Jay Z at the same time, the latter sounding like it’s coming out of a cricket’s legs. And if you stand at just the right place in the kitchen you can hear sometimes four different pieces of music at the same time. It’s insane, this need for “my music” that is so crackheaded and selfish that it overrides everyone else’s sanity.

    Good audio matters.

    lilbirdee12’s prayer:

Our Heavenly Father, Your children come to you tonight to ask for healing and peace throughout our country so that we may return to being One Nation Under God. Guide us to be leaders in Your Kingdom, spreading Your Love and Salvation to all. Forgive us our sins and deliver us from evil.

Lord, we ask for a blanket of protection over all our troops and law enforcement who serve to defend and protect us. Bless our representatives with the strength and wisdom they need to achieve the path You have chosen for us.

Please place Your Guardian Angels of Protection around Donald Trump and Mike Pence and their families as they seek to lead America back to You.

Grant us patience, Lord, as the evil ones try to anger us and cause us to fall.
Spread blessings over Israel and Netanyahu.

We humbly ask that You please comfort those who are grieving and in pain.
Thank you Father, for Your Love and the gift of Life.

In Jesus name, we pray. Amen

The reason I ask about audio:

This here shakes your chest, where I sit. Only on Sunday, though. Landlord & Lady don’t open the store below on Sundays.
