    Another weekend of shootings and, would you believe, a fatal stabbing?! Talk about ‘old school’, but then under Trump those innercity small bidnezz loans that would allow entrepreneurial thugs to buy guns are slower than under the POtuS.
    Media are strenuously avoiding identifying vics, geez, considering the areas the assaults occured in I wonder why. So far no suspects but then agaon, so what else is new? Worst oart of it for the City was one of the dhootings…again…occurred at a prime spot on the Mardi Gras parade route. Gosh golly, the mayor announced multiple times ober da teebee dat guns were illegal on parade routes and honest, law abiding citizens were not going to be bringin’ dey pro-tective weapons to da payraid….wonder why da thugses din’ get da woid?

        My neighbors would come to me and say they wanted a drug house closed. I told them to call the police as the sheriff didn’t really have jurisdiction but they’d say they didn’t want to get involved.
        Shooting in the neighborhood? Nobody saw or heard anything, nobody would help. Yet it was our fault that no one was arrested.
        I had an NOPD friend toss a suspicious car parked on a sidecstreet on our block. Four young teens were in it and the trunk contained two handguns, two shotguns, duct tape, rope, plastic gloves and garbage bags. End result was a neighbor stopped talking to me as his son was in that car and it was MY fault he was arrested. Let ’em red line, use blood, paint, cupcake sprinkles, whatever – should show areas not safe for civiluzed habitstion.

    Well once again it appears that Botox and fumes from the Bobdo have migrated to and damaged some more of those few remaining functional brain cells in Pelosi. Dhe’s expressing fears that Trimp and his krewe will destroy vital documents concerning his team’s contacts with Russia before his inauguration.
    This is the same prune who was so supportive of Hillary’s efforts to destroy official documents and hide her illegal acts. Up the doses of Aricept, Nancy, you’re not only losing it but you ability to make the hatchet job look legit is gone too.

    Does anyone have insight into the Milo/CPAC situation? From what I have been able to determine, he has been slandered as pro pedophile, and he has answered that he was a child sex abuse victim, and would never advocate for sex with children. He has admitted that he may have misstated some things, but denies the charges made against him. CPAC has, typically, cancelled his appearance.

      Never Trumpers released audio of him sounding like he was pro-p3do. He says they spliced it to misrepresent what he said. I don’t think Jim linked the full audio, which would have been the best thing to do so people can make their own judgement call.

      I saw the original interview and the parts that Milo claims are sliced together to make it appear that he is advocating for pedophilia are indeed doctored.

      He is speaking as a young gay man and they do call 17 – 20 something year old young men as “boys”. Age of consent in the UK is 16. Milo was talking about his relationship with a 28 year old man when he was 17. He talked about how many “young boys” find a mentor because they are unsure of themselves and outcasts from their family. By young boys he was really referring to young men, some of the gay community does do this, just as they refer to older men as “daddy” like Milo does with Trump.

      Milo talked about the strict definition of pedophilia as an attraction to prepubescent children as opposed to pubescent children. He also referred to 13 year old boys aggressively sexually pursing their female teachers.

      Milo’s joke about the priest who molested him seem to me to be a deflection which is what he said that it was when he clarified his statement.

      All in all Milo was being provocative with his words in the wrong arena and used his language sloppily but was not in anyway condoning pedophilia.

        Thank you for the info. I have been avoiding this one all day because this is all so suspect. Milo has had a target on his back since UC Berkley. I think what happened there embarrassed the Left enormously, though I am not sure how.

        If they could make Milo a pedophile, then it would justify the Left’s behavior at Berkley with the added bonus of vilifying the Right for having him come there in the first place.

        I don’t know. It’s all speculation in my post. But in the immortal words of Patrick Henry, “I smell a rat.”

            I’m concerned for him, but more concerned for the politics. I can’t tell others what they should do, but I do believe it was a mistaken, knee-jerk, reaction by CPAC. The publisher is a different issue. Seen on Facebook:

            I’d like to say I am shocked by this latest screw up at CPAC. The Daily Caller is to be commended by getting something out fast.

          He told a truth about gay men that isn’t allowed to be spoken. By and large, they need young boys to convert, because the truth is, we’re not “born that way,” and there’s only one way to replenish the stock. Remember the sick saga of Kevin Jennings, Obama’s “Safe Schools Czar”?

          I remember my brother killing himself at 19, when I was 18. And why.

          He was used by gay men, in this manner. ALL HIS LIFE. I remember him coming home with high-end cassette recorders, speakers, and paychecks that rivaled my dad’s, at 15, working at a small country grocery store for a sick POS that is probably long gone by now. He brought me a whole grocery bag of cartons of Marlboros one day. Gave them to me, angrily, “Now quit bumming smokes off me!” Another day it was a quarter pound of ganja.

          We never connected the dots until years later. I don’t hate gay men to this day, but my eyes are definitely open.

          Milo just put his foot in the door they don’t want opened.

            I wrote a reply on my tablet that got stuck in a wordpress error… So I am trying again. I just don’t think that gay men go and scoop up young boys to convert, to keep up the population. I do believe that there are evil people that play on both teams.. and I am profoundly sorry that some horrible creature got its claws in your brother…I won’t pretend to understand how any person is gay,, I just think it is somehow part of a persons core being. Again, I am very sorry for your loss.

            It seems that Simon & Schuster supplied Milo with a $250,000 signing fee since they broke the contract I am assuming that Milo can keep the $250,000. He also has a 7 or 8 figure lawsuit that has landed right in his lap. All the regular culprits are running with the story as if the doctored video clips are a true representation of what Milo said.

        Does Milo Yiannopolis have murals of beheaded children? Paintings of children shackled to bathroom walls? Has he ever referred to playing dominoes on pizza vs. pasta delivered to him according to “long-standing protocol”?

        Open the windows. Turn on the spotlights. I hope he asks to be investigated, and then asks the aforementioned scum to be similarly investigated.

      Just another opinion re: Milo –

      Why do women whose husbands beat them nearly to death and survive choose joy knowing there is never enough protection?

      Why do women who are raped choose to keep their child and rear him mostly alone still find joy when that child says Mom when did you stop relying on the Lord?

      Why do child pedophilia victims choose to laugh at themselves and everyone else instead of becoming permanent victims?

      Answer those questions and one may find the answer.

        You know.

        I understand Milo’s humor. I am friends with several people who have lost loved ones to suicide. You would not believe what passes for humor among us. People would truly be horrified. There is something about finding laughter in the horror, because we live and own that horror that makes the humor all the more funny.

        The horror hasn’t conquered us and we put it on it’s heels when we mock it, there is something very satisfying in that dark humor.

    I am a gay man, and a child abuse victim.

    I would like to restate my utter disgust at adults who sexually abuse minors. I am horrified by pedophilia and I have devoted large portions of my career as a journalist to exposing child abusers. I’ve outed three of them, in fact — three more than most of my critics. And I’ve repeatedly expressed disgust at pedophilia in my feature and opinion writing. My professional record is very clear.

    But I do understand that these videos, even though some of them are edited deceptively, paint a different picture.

    I’m partly to blame. My own experiences as a victim led me to believe I could say anything I wanted to on this subject, no matter how outrageous. But I understand that my usual blend of British sarcasm, provocation and gallows humor might have come across as flippancy, a lack of care for other victims or, worse, “advocacy.” I deeply regret that. People deal with things from their past in different ways.

    As to some of the specific claims being made, sometimes things tumble out of your mouth on these long, late-night live-streams, when everyone is spit-balling, that are incompletely expressed or not what you intended. Nonetheless, I’ve reviewed the tapes that appeared last night in their proper full context and I don’t believe they say what is being reported.

    I do not advocate for illegal behavior. I explicitly say on the tapes that I think the current age of consent is “about right.”

    I do not believe sex with 13-year-olds is okay. When I mentioned the number 13, I was talking about the age I lost my own virginity.

    I shouldn’t have used the word “boy” — which gay men often do to describe young men of consenting age — instead of “young man.” That was an error.

    I am certainly guilty of imprecise language, which I regret.

    Anyone who suggests I turn a blind eye to illegal activity or to the abuse of minors is unequivocally wrong. I am implacably opposed to the normalization of pedophilia and I will continue to report and speak accordingly.

    One local news program is showing the video of the parade shooting yesterday. Gues woooooo-ooooo be doin’ da shootin’???
    The police chief and DA’s office have confirmed that shootings at parades will have the perps charged with 2nd degree murder, manslaughter or some lesser charge if the shootee isn’t killed. The vic’s NOK can rest easy knowing that justice may be carried out.
    The DA’s office will charge anyone caught carrying a gun so don’t any you law abiding folks be bringing you protective guns, you can be wearin’ dat body armor and we ad-vise you be carryin’ a trauma kit, but if some de-praved chile thug be shootin’ ya you can be a-sured he may be charged.
