    I’m absolutely stunned after hearing Trump’s speech at the Nat’l Prayer B’fast.

    It’s like rain after a drought, hearing a speech like that from an American President.

        How could the MSM be stunned when they’ve been calling Trump “Actually, Literally Hitler, And I Mean That, You Guys” for A FREAKIN’ YEAR?

        They’re stunned after doing that for a year and actually believing that?

        What drug are these people on?

        Oh, they said GWB was Literally Hitler too. Even made a hashtag before hashtags existed, by calling him, like a million trained Mina birds, “Bushitler”.

        He turned out to be not Hitler. To all their ego’s complete dismay.

        They wanted GWB to be Hitler. And he let Cindy Sheehan camp out in his ditch. For months, calling him Hitler. Never carted her away to The Camps. I love GWB for that. Not for sparing her freedom, because Obama’s handlers, for instance, would not have allowed that behavior. A Cindy Sheehan camping outside any Obama residence calling him Hitler would be seeing a stainless-steel toilet/sink combo really soon. GWB said, essentially, “I’m not going to try and use dialectic to explain to you that I’m not Hitler. That wouldn’t work on you, because you don’t speak that language. So I’ll just show you.”

        I think he even came out to her encampment and brought treats, once.

      Liberals don’t do linear thought very well. I couldn’t quite get them to see that if not being allowed to come to the US made them join ISIS then they were always radicals intended to harm us and shouldn’t be allowed out of whatever country they came from.

        They’re looking fir an excuse that will scare people, the Starbucks and iPhone crowd that can’t be bothered researching and thinking for themselves, they just take in and digest what they need to fill the empty spaces. How the **** do they explain the huge ISIS numbers before Trump came on the scene? Oh yeah, that’s right, Bush I, Bush II and Reagan.
        At some point when the imported jihadis are sawing their custom coiffed head off I’m sure they’ll receive full comfort in blaming the Bush clan and RR for that.

      I heard a chap talking about this on the Tee Vee I believe can’t remember where. But anyhow the Left chooses to empower Islam with narrow minded thinking or at least agenda driven proffering by folks like Bernie Sanders.

      The Imams, the leaders of the minion Muslims use everything and anything to promote their agenda of all infidels are Satan’s hands and should be destroyed. Let’s say that Trump said we are opening our borders and removing any impediment to anyone coming from a country that is an un-vettable Muslim majority country “Welcome, we love you” . The puppet masters would simply say “The devils are trying to trick you, they are inviting you into their home so you are easier to find and kill when they get the order from their demonic leader.” there is no reason for a puppet culture not to believe what their puppet master says or does.

      The problem is not in the way the West treats Islam the problem is Islam, the Koran, the culture of ignorance, their culture of barbarism, their culture of misogyny and their pedophile founder Mohamed who gave birth to a people who were designed for a world of incest, pedophilia, murder, savagery, ignorance and undying, unquestioning allegiance to the perpetuation of their culture at the edge of a sword and eternal damnation.

          Let’s watch what happens. She is supposed to be working under his guidance and if she’s not he’ll dump her like a bad date. If he doesn’t then ee can only guess she’s operating under his guidance. Don’t be caught up in thinking ‘diplomatically’, he’s a businessman, not a bureaucrat.
          The zap, were it not in line with Trump policy, could quite easily be dealt with thru a telephone call between US and Russian counterparts whose job it is to clear the fog. Real snakes in the grass are the State pros who answer only to themselves. They threw their ace in when they signed that ‘screw you’ memo to Trump and instead of doing the bureaucratic thing and having a heart-to-heart with them he told them where they could file it. That’s unprecedented between State and the WH, State’s used to steering the ship of state and may retaliate in pique. State’s the policy player, the UN’s largely a sideshow.

    When I was in NOLA and stopped by the Asian big box store and found that Thai meat ax, there were a couple of urbanites who sort of looked down their upturned noses at my big knife. One couple even asked what I was going to do with such an evil-looking thing.
    Tonite it rendered a pig cookable pig pieces in the same time my other guy’s Sawzall but with the ability to make nice surgical cuts. Even with an 18″ long by 3/16ths of an inch thick blade I can sharpen it finely enough to slice paper cleanly and even shave hair off of your arm. Czarina and I had the porker bagged and in the freezer in less than half an hour.
    It may be 3rd world but it’s the result of hundreds of years of cutting edge evolution and, of course, some heavy vehicle breaking a leaf spring.

      Dh and I tried to butcher half a deer. What a job it was, and I was not well to begin with… all that silvery shiny membrane that I just could not get rid of. We did the best we could.

        There are two shiny membranes. The thin one can be dealt with by letting the meat dry, preferably in a meat locker but if it’s cool enough you can do it outdoors in a shady spot. Ground pepper helps keep flies away. The drier membrane just peels off.
        There’s a thicker, tougher one that you basically have to filet off with a thin, sharp knife.

        You won’t find Chef Puerre advertising it with the Wustnof or Shun models but then you won’t find most cooks disassembling dinner on the tailgate of a pickup.
        I have butcher knives that are over 40 years old. They were made for the Army cooks to use in the field on ‘rations of opportunity’ and still work just fine. Guess it just depends on how hard you want to work and how much you value form over function.
