The Sad and Silly Protest

The image of a hijab, a symbol of a woman’s submission, being made from an American flag, a symbol of freedom, is ironic at best.

hijabflagI won’t post pics of the women in their ridiculous vagina costumes, pussy hats, or dressed in stripper gear with the words “not an invitation” written on their bodies, some topless with black electrical tape covering their nipples.

The protests were entertaining sometimes, and vulgar sometimes, but mostly ridiculous. There were has-been or never-been entertainers like Madonna and Judd, cursing or reading silly/vulgar poetry.  Blubber boy Michael spoke up, of course, since he never misses an opportunity to appear on camera and drum up sales for his latest ‘documentary’.

Madonna may be facing an uncomfortable interview with the Secret Service, due to her foolish remarks about blowing up the White House. Otherwise, she was her usual self, firing off the “F” bombs. A has-been in search of relevance.

Gloria Steinem made some ridiculous and inaccurate statements about Muslim registry. Of course, no registry of Muslims has ever been proposed, so whaaa?

Yes, there were large crowds. Some were paid, but others attended in good faith, although what they were protesting is a bit of a head scratcher, even to many of them.  And they brought their children with them.

Hundreds of “protesters” were asked why they were there, and many of them just didn’t know. Some say they want to “Dump Trump”, and don’t seem to understand that protesting and screaming/cursing won’t achieve that goal.

protesters-gather-in-nations-capitalThere was no cohesive reason for their protests. Among the “women’s rights” that the speakers screamed about were homosexual rights, “climate change”, democracy, solidarity with the PLO, hatred of Israel, Black Lives Matter, and the Wall (because no human is illegal, don’t you know.) None of these seem to be “women’s issues.” One sign read, “Angry Women Vote.” And a middle-aged woman carried a sign that simply read, “I am very upset.”

machine-kills-fascists

Ostensibly a Women’s March, pro-life women’s groups were NOT welcome. Apparently the right to kill babies is more important than the rights of those babies themselves.

Wretchard T. Cat** said this on Facebook this morning, and I think he’s right:

The sound and fury of the anti-Trump riots hides the fact that the circuses are fundamentally defensive deployments, designed primarily to keep a demoralized base together rather than attract new adherents. They’re not appealing to people on the fence. They’re trying to keep together what they have.

The manic activity isn’t strategy but what they must do for want of it.

Where any new strategy is going to come from is the sleeper problem of the Left. For one it has no clear successor leadership whence such strategies will come. What it currently has is a bunch of political wreckage that performs no useful function other than obstruct a reboot.

The announcement that Barack Obama is going to lead the resistance makes about as much sense as Ed Miliband leading the recovery of the Labor party he destroyed. Yet Obama will assume the mantle because no one can gainsay him, unless one prefers the Clintons, Gores and Pelosi’s who will take up space, like so many twisted girders left over from a structural collapse until rust and decreptitude sweep them away leaving the field clear for a replacement structure.

The conventional wisdom is that Trump has “destabilized” the system. What this ignores, both in Europe and in Washington, is that much of the instability has come from the collapse of the progressive project itself. The situation is so volatile because the old balances are gone. There is a political vacuum in the heart of the West that cannot easily be filled by the debris.

Enough of the serious, now for the ridiculous. Enjoy!

    Seen on Facebook:

Hundreds of thousands of women marched around our nations cities in pink hats and vagina costumes, cheered on by worn out Hollywood leftist abortion junkies, and the usual suspects, and tens of millions of American women watched it all, and said to themselves, “THANK GOD TRUMP WON.” #MAGA #NOTMYMARCH #PUSSYHATSAREFORLOSERS

The women were embarrassing to say the least

As the men put on their suit and tie rolled up their sleeves and got down to business

The women were wearing ridiculous head gear that I’m still not sure what it was and still not sure I want to know what it was

Held up even more ridiculous signs

And acted like uneducated idiots as they marched to the beat of Margaret Sanger the founder of Planned Parenthood

Ms. Sanger founded Planned Parenthood to genocide the black race through black women aborting their babies

Ms. Sanger called black people “weeds” and wanted to exterminate all black people from the face of the earth

    Maybe it’s just me…

But I don’t see why anyone would march for that cause 💛

The women’s anti-suffrage movement from the first decades of the twentieth century, used as an argument the prediction that changing the traditional role of women would create more socialist voters. Exactly 100 years later, I was a bit surprised to read that, and it caused me to tilt my head to one side and wonder if the two were actually connected.

Yes, which is why it seems to resurge about every 40 years. What the left really is has to be made part of early education to be able to reasonably keep the numbers of crazy socialist down and minimize their influence.

Back when the tea party was at its height, they showed pictures of how clean it was after their rallies .
The liberals left huge messes and destruction, like during all the Occupy Wall Street protests. (I think the Occupy Wall Street Was the comparison pics the Tea Party used).

One of my favorite pictures which I wish I had copied was a frumpy, sloppy SJW holding a sign that read “Women aren’t decorations” there was another lovely looking young lady standing next to her with a sign that simply read “Some” . I can’t even remember what event it was but I can’t find it anywhere.

How ironic. Many demonstrators came from affluent suburban communities. Earn top dollar in their professions. Enjoy the best medical care, dine in pricy restaurants catering to their refined tastes. And come off as deeply, profoundly unhappy. As though the triumph of Hillary Clinton would have satisfied that inner gloom. A warning to them, as to fellow supporters of our new President- “put not your trust in princes.” Or princesses. “Socialism without Woman Suffrage is an impossibility.”

After reading through from 1911-1920, I suspect that Woman Suffrage movement didn’t have the desired long lasting results the socialists hoped. I think that is why it had become an almost direct purchase of votes for groups this last time. Woman’s reproductive rights, gay marriage, undocumented workers, EDBT invisible soup lines.

I guess I am just too old and totally “out of it”….but I do not understand why all these women are so fired up about Virginia….Heck, all of this “Virginia Power” and “Power to the Virginians” and “Virginians against STUMPS” and the costumes alone show how much these ladies all want the world to rise up and cheer for Virginia.

I heard they have a SONG about it….called “Waltzing Virginias”

    Goes:

    “Waltzing old Virginias
    Waltzing old Virginias
Who will come waltz their Virginia with Me.

So we Sing as We March
    and holler about our Billybongs

Who will go walze their old Virginia with me…”

I am just astounded at the enthusiasm and creativity and solidarity of these ladies and such as they seem to be.

Part of the reason for the Saturday presser was to preempt the Sunday talk shows.

Did you notice that all of the Talk Show interviewers wanted to demand why Spicer lied about the attendance figures and why Trump is being so petty about it instead of talking about important topics (in other words, what THEY want to talk about). The result they desired was to make Trump look dumb and petty, but to his supporters it only reinforced the media prejudice, and informed people who didn’t know about it that the media had lied about the attendance.

Did you also notice that they had to admit that the story about the MLK bust being removed from the Oval Office was a lie? They tried to downplay it as a ‘mistake’, but the point was made

Ah yes, the marches. Good times.

The college I attended had required convocations every Wed. Tom Hayden (Jane Fonda husband) was speaking at one of those convocations. For one time in my life, I agreed I was much too young to be in college at that particular moment, and I skipped convo. After completing Bachelor’s and part of Grad school, enlisted in the Corps, never looked back. And, here we go again. What fun.

There are an awful lot of stupid women. I sometimes wonder if more women than men are absolutely, flat out stupid. What exactly has feminism gained for them? Maybe higher wages, but congrats women, you now are pretty much throw away paper plates to the men in society. You sleep around, get no companionship, respect, support (monetarily or emotionally), you raise fatherless children alone in poverty, then a few years later do it all over again.

Or you become a career woman and hit forty desperately spending tens of thousands of dollars to salvage the last moments of your beauty, or maybe on your last remnant of fertility. Your third husband is another cheater. Who knew when you started the affair that caused him to leave his wife and family that he couldn’t be trusted, dammit?

I know there are so very many good women out there, but then I see women like this every day. I see young women in clothes that are really, truly, less than what hookers wore when I was a teenager, and I see their moms dressed in things I didn’t wear when I was twenty, and I was not a prude, nor a shoddy dresser.

I see women who think they can sleep around, have no clue who fathers the child they choose to abort, and actually believe they have no price to pay for such choices.

I could be wrong, but it sure seems to me that women are frequently dumber than men. And we all lose for it.

In my 60s world we worried about whether or not to kiss on the 2nd or 3rd date, now its whether or not to have sex on the 1st day or just have sex for the fun of it…
What can we expect when you look at the shows on TV now; shows like Two and Half Men, and Two Broke Girls are just two of the many many shows on TV now that condone open sexuality . I would give up this crazy technological world of ours just so that our kids would understand and have some decent moral values.

I can’t imagine even wondering who the father is or having several children by different fathers, the latter I see so much. Women with 3 or 4 kids and none of them have the same father and then they’re either married to or shacked up with a guy who has kids from different mothers. How can these kids not be confused?

A huge part of it though is acceptance, when I was a kid if a girl got pregnant while in school teachers, parents and students didn’t gush all over her. They didn’t treat her badly, but they didn’t act like it was the greatest thing in the world either.

My last big argument with my know-it-all cousin about Trump, was when she got all holier than thou about how he was a serial adulterer, cheating on his wives etc. Some people just have no self-awareness, and this is why I say that:

I reminded her that her first son was the product of an adulterous relationship with a married man. He subsequently got divorced and married somebody else just a few months after her son was born. She had two more sons by two different men. She did marry them, the last one after her son was born.

This woman is well-educated, and supposedly intelligent. The father of her second son is a college professor. She is twice divorced.

            She isn’t speaking to me.

Most are pissed about gay rights and woman’s rights , when it has been the Obama administration that has been putting the LGBT and American Women at risk. Obama has been not only putting the Muslims on a pedestal in America, Obama’s administration has been helping the Radical Muslims in the Middle-East financially and with arms.
Then to top this all of many of the protestors were using signs, and/or costumes symbolic of their support for the Muslim/Islamic community over Trump/America. How stupid/naive can they be. (just my two cents and rant).

A Trump Administration will empower our law enforcement officers to do their jobs and keep our streets free of crime and violence. The Trump Administration will be a law and order administration. President Trump will honor our men and women in uniform and will support their mission of protecting the public. The dangerous anti-police atmosphere in America is wrong. It’s nice to see other people who are ‘brave’ enough to express this view. I completely agree with you. While I watched the ridiculous reality show, I tried to see the true cause they were fighting for. I’m still confused, even after reading multiple columns, comments and articles. Were they protesting everything? Because of their behavior the only cause I got from it was that it was their free-pass day to go wild. I’m all for protests (whether I agree with the cause or not) – it’s the peoples’ right – but they should be done so with decency and respect.
