Wish I could have been in New Orleans for the ‘demonstrations’. The more upscale demonstrators hire brass bands, lots of folks dress up like they all went to a going out of budiness sale at a giant hippie/grunge/glitter store and there’s lots of booze. If you’re gonna listen to thst crap a lotta booze helps.

I have one pretty cup and saucer that belonged to my mother.. It is grey and black with a dragon,,, there is a cameo of a geisha on the bottom, if you look at a light.. I just found out that is called a lithophane…. hmmmmmm

My mother collected cups and saucers as they traveled the country. She gave many away to my cousins as she neared the end of her life. I still have more than I can handle. So I have finally chosen the ones I like best to keep. Yours is very beautiful and unusual.

“While I was getting a coffee, I overheard 7 young people (22-26 years old, 5 males, 2 female) who have been protesting in downtown Portland the last two nights.
I told them I was doing research and asked nicely if they would answer some questions. They were cool with it, so I sat down and went for it.
Ø Three voted. Of the four who didn’t, none was registered to vote.
Ø None of them researched independently either candidate.
Ø All were for Hillary but preferred Bernie.

Ø When I asked, as a man myself, “Have you ever said anything like that when you’ve
been hanging out with your buddies? All five males said “Yes.”
Ø Would you say it if you knew you were on tape? All five answered “No.”
Ø What’s the difference? I asked. “You’ve all said bad stuff like that. Does
that mean you hate women and are a sexual predator?” Nothing. No answer.
Ø None could tell me how our government works … they didn’t know how
laws are passed, how the House of Representatives or the Senate work.
Ø None could explain how a bill is passed.
Ø Only one could tell me the difference between legal and illegal immigration.
One of them said, “Legal immigration is when you immigrate legally.” Seriously.
Ø None could explain the purpose of the Electoral College or how it works.
In 10 minutes they felt they had explained everything. Nice kids … but so ignorant. I know some awesome, phenomenal young adults; but I’m afraid the majority are like these seven. Too many participation trophies, too much coddling by parents and teachers.

FWIW yours truly does not believe there is such a thing as an illegal immigrant. No, I think an immigrant should be considered as having come through the proper channels.. anything else is criminal… Look at the definitions… a person who goes to a country to live there, permanently… I know I am kinda out there on this…

Disruptive groups frequently co-opt groups they otherwise wouldn’t spit on as fools/tools to said disruptive group’s ends. Once the agenda’s met and the greater group/target dealt with then the disruptive group can pick off those useful fols/tools one by one until they’re neutralized.
Just look at the Russian Revolution where once the Tsar was ousted the Soviets liquidated most of those who’d supported them over the next few decades. Expect the super minority Moslems to co-opt various liberal groups by insinuating seemingly supportive members, even funneling cash and other support in large amounts to cement their influence. Expect them to be everywhere from ultra-liberal to ultra-conservative to corrode the system at all levels, little termites that’ll chew through the house from cellar to roof.

I am very disappointed. It hasn’t rained in so long and there was 100% chance it would rain today, starting with thunderstorms around 8:00. I got up in anticipation of the T-storms and it still looked very dark out. It was dark out because it was early.
The stupid sky was almost completely clear except for some filmy clouds around the edges of the sky being blown away. {sigh} It is now a little after 8:00 and the sun is out, and there is a completely clear sky. 😥

So far they are staying north of us. We have gotten a lot of wind all day and it seems to have picked up now. But, I think we are just at the bottom edge of it and got just a sprinkling of rain. So far, so good.

Yup, gotta get about 20-30 yards of gravel in for the drive. At the rate it’s getting pushed into the mud my drive’s gonna be gravel 18-inches deep.
Rain raised the lake, we spent the afternoon clearing brush on the dam and draining water. Water’s running into our lake from runoff from the big lake to the west and a smaller one to the north. Gonna be a while before our lake drops, in the meantime we’re just treading water. Sorry, just had to get that one out.

did 40 sec on high this morning…put a tsp of water on top and pierced yolk with fork…still popped and was a little messy, but egg was great tasting and clean up a simple deal. I am the only champion of this thing in the family, but who cares…I like what I like.

Nielsen dates back to the dark ages of television, abd I’m betting their presentbdydtem ain’t much better. Thry can get numbers from cable, satellite and wireless providers but I’m betting it’s harder getting numbers from internet providers.
I’m betting Nielsen doesn’t have those methods of counting folks with antenna reception and even the satellite, cable and wireless have problems figuring out if you’re watching or if you just didn’t turn your system off. We’re back to looking at the actual results and not using tainted guesswork.

I am growing suspicious of the continued comparisons to Germany and in turn, Hitler.
I wonder how much is echo chamber and how much is based upon actual historical events.
I seem to recall reading that hyperinflation in the Weimar Republic of the 1920’s and people starving to death, murders and assassinations of hundreds of political figures, contributed to Hitler’s rise to power in the 1930’s.
The National Socialist German Workers’ Party political strategy focused on anti-big business, anti-bourgeois, and anti-capitalist rhetoric. Kind of like the rhetoric Bernie Sanders, Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, and the rest of the left spew.

I think for some it is with full knowledge of historical events and current happenings, I would include the pope, Sanders, Clinton, Obama, Reid, Pelosi, Soros, Merkel, Islamic leaders, et al in that list of “with knowledge and malice” and as usual the minions are the pussy hat wearers, window breakers and sign holders as the echo chamber. The oligarchs know what a dictator is the echo chamber doesn’t know the difference between a dictator and a four leaf clover.
I do believe that Hillary said “If Trump wins we will all hang,” after being blindsided by the Matt Lauer interview, the oligarchs know exactly what is happening, they have studied history that is why we see so many American political dynasties trying to retain their power and avoid the gallows.

Worked my first shift at the new place today. It was fun. Chef loves me. The workers were impressed, the kitchen was cleaner when I left than when Chef walked in this morning. They’re not used to someone coming in and working like I’ve been there for years, professionally.
It’s a good feeling.
New Bossman will be happy when he gets back from FL on Thursday. I hope.

Not at all, Czar. I’m happy about this change. I needed it, and they needed me.
It was evident when Chef sought me out, and more evident when I walked in, said, “Aw, hell no.” and got to cleaning. All three guys in the kitchen besides me went on a half-hour break when I got there — Chef was like, “He’s got this.” When they came back, he was nodding to the other two, as if to say, “See?”

military…1967…my pay was $179.70 per month. That’s roughly $1264 a month today. Was fun with a family but luckily my superiors saw my drive and potential so that by 1969 it had skyrocketed to $251.70! That’s $1800 in todays money…two kids by then.

Lenin was a msster of using violence in political revolution and these latter day rats have adapted and adopted.
Back in the lste 60s and early 70s, when I still played active pol games, you could go to a Rat political meeting and see ‘organizers’ who had contacts with ‘action groups’. These action groups would skate on the thin egde of legality to stir up emotions during any political events, especially provoking police. These same groups exist now in various forms from ansrchist to communist to jerks that still live in their parents’ basements, some being violent. They are organized and their use by the Rats is mutually beneficial, look st how well Obama used them.
This may turn violent like the Weather/communist/ethnic terrorist movements of the 60s/70s and the social engineers will use the MSM and alternate media to blame conservatives and try to use the fallout to influence voters and legislation.
I dtill say 2018 is going to be the crux. The Rats have already started to get candidates lined up and deodorized, if they can take the Senate back they can pull a stall and make Trump look bad. Keep your powder dry.

He was cheered by the workerbees but there may have been problems with the political apointees and their eronenos. Trump putting an insider inside is no different than what any other president has done and the president’s/DCI’s total control of the Company is not total.
If the CIA had wanted to torpedo him they could have, those who don’t know the breadth and reach of the agency know it wouldn’t have been that difficult a thing to do. I’m betting the active ‘dump Trump’ was, if it existed at all, was mostly Obama’s political appointees and followers.

People have nooooooo idea. Company’s operating budget is classified, mostly buried in appropriations in other agencies’ budget sheets.
