Wash Post is reporting Trump signed an executive order directing all Federal agencies to minimize Obamacare’s ‘economic and regulatory burdens’ on sll parties concerened with the act. That could push the Feds to stop fining prople for not having the insurance, which would effectively cause it to start collapsing…just like we said a few days ago.
I’m betting there’ll be pushback from the IRS as they have a bureaucracy built around collecting the fines for not having the insurance, I’m betting someone will have to breathe fire into their break room to get the toads to hop. A Trump test in the making.

In truth, it wasn’t a hard call. The program would have died a slow death had they not put a punishment in for people who wouldn’t/couldn’t buy it. It seems that the creators kbew that and made the punishment relatively light to begin with and gradually increased it until it was onerous enough for people to actively cut back on necessities to buy insurance. Not good insurance, just the minimum required to not get punished.
I’m wondering if his little toads were figuring that as the premiums, which was a gimme, the Feds could use shame or even legislation to force employers to pay a chunk of their employees’ premiums. I could eventually see the Feds mandating the ex-employers pay a portion of their ex-employees’ premiums until said employees found new employment.
From each according to how much we can bleed them, to each according to how much it takes to buy a soul.

As a businessman I’m vetting hecwon’t wantbto create chaos by turning over the Apple cart, he’ll be more surgical. There’s been a lot of roots that have grown out of the POtuS’s dicktatorial meddling and he’s going go minimize the collateral damages. If he causes so much as a ripple the MSM will be all over him somhe’s not goingbto create waves or damages.

Maybe, as a businessman. Maybe. I haven’t seen him fear waves yet, but maybe damages. I hope he weighs the scales between no action and corrective action. It’s easy to sling an opinion that he ought to trash it all, but hard to really know the repercussions at this stage.

I’m not saying waves as in bureaucratic problems, I’m saying waves as in damages to people that would give the vulture MSM sonething solid to feed on. That’s why Congress can’t just cone in and wipe out Obamacare with one fell swoop.
The administrative effects of Obama’s directives have to be taken into consideration as well as ancillary problems. In just Obamacare you have the problems of the patients mass trying tonfind another policy, the insurance companies trying to rebuild rate/coverage schedules, billing entities readjusting…problems msy sound small but in the millions it would be a mess.
You could just go and order the insurance companies to hold or lower their rates and coverages, move folks over seamlessly, just tell all concerned to do this, thst or the other. Then what would the difference between what you are doing and what Obama did? A lot of this has to be dissected with a scalpel and dealt with one bit at a time or it will come back to bite Trump and Congress.

Through the years I had many people ridicule me for staying with the military. Even then I knew that a guaranteed retirement check I could count on and guaranteed health insurance were going to be important.
My civil service health insurance was great, but I paid for it. Not as much as I would have had I been a civilian employee instead of a civil servant but for me, Czarina and my sobs by a previous marriage I was paying about $200 every two weeks. When I turned 60 I could get the military retiree Tricare, which was roughly the equivalent of Blue Cross/Blue Shield, for Czarina and I for $400 a year. Once Czarina and I hit Medicare it reverted to a secondary coverage and was free. Just over 40 years of military service has its benefits and I thank God every day for thevhealth insurance.

Two inches over two days on already sotted ground. The trailing tail of the big storm that went north hit us brfore dawn, only an inch of rain but terrific winds, lotta trees down in the area.
Gonna be nice weather next week though, getting the garden together early, global warming is promising to make bumper crops.

Look at the Left/Rat history, so many of these groups Trump will fight are members or lapdogs of the Rats. Never forget that you judt had a president who was a drinkink/dinner/professorial friend ofvtwo of the US’s premier terrorists. Ayers and Dohrn bombed the US Capitol and Pentagon just as bin Laden did. They killed police and fomented violence against the police You Know Who did. They robbed banks, committed treason and other crimes yet are valued compadres of the Rat elite.
How ’bout CAIR, a designated terrorist group in a number of Moslem countries yet a valued resource to Rats? Then we have one of the Rat’s ‘go to’ advisory groups, the Muslim Brotherhood. And the lidt could go on, but you gets the idea.
These groups andbothers will be fighting Trump openly and covertly to stop his reclaiming American freedom and self determination. They will organize and push hard to retake Congress in 2018 and work ceaselessly to unseat Trump in 2020. It goes beyond a kleptarchy and mobarchy to a criminal state. Celebrate for the weekend but, first thing Monday, start looking to what we do in 2018 to save what we regained in November.

I thought about this so me time before commenting. I simply cannot believe that a person has much of a real prayer life with the moral platform she espouses. There is a difference in talking at God and talking to Him, with Him.
No matter what religion you claim, you don’t get to set the rules. You form your conscience and shape your actions according to the teachings of your faith. It I decide to go with my own desires I am not going to demand the world recognize me as a great, knowledgeable, and holy Catholic.
But then, I’m a little more honest than Pelosi. To myself, especially.

I was in the local beer store yesterday, talking with a lady-friend behind the counter, and the store had a few other people in line and shopping for wine. I said, so everyone could hear me, “Yes, this brings back fond memories. Remember when conservatives rioted and threw bricks and punched people and burned down cities in ’08 and 2012? No, neither do I. Because we didn’t do that. We just went back to work.”
I turned around and everyone in the store was smiling at me. Bigly.

I saw plenty of the pussyhats (yes, that is what they are called) in SF today, as the Walk for Life marched down Market Street (the p-h’s being on their way to their own rally).
Remarkably few incidents, surprisingly enough, although there was ONE group of protesters we passed…well, I’ll just say that I felt a wave of evil wash around me.

The Company has been in existence for nigh on 100 years. During that period, some traditions have been established: the Athletic Association has a social function twice a year, subsidized by the Company. The employees receive a bonus just before Christmas. The vending machines in the break areas and the cafeteria are subsidized to keep refreshments affordable. There is an annual banquet for employees who have 25 years’ seniority.
Over the last decade, these traditions have been abandoned by the Company. The Christmas bonus was replaced with a free turkey (which was replaced with a coupon for a turkey at a local merchant). The turkey was replaced with a gift card. Last year, there was nothing. Not even a greeting card.
I was the longest-lasting employee. 7 and 8 years ago, I got a fairly substantial Christmas bonus, based on performance. This year, a $25 gift card. I figure the people who left before I did were smarter than me. I see that, now.

I saw this at Home Depot. The leech Bob Nardelli sucked millions out of the company while killing the morale and making sure some of the hardest working people in the world got a quarter raise for a whole year’s work. Then he went on to Chrysler.
He tromped on our pride, our identity, our earnings, and our attitude, and he did it with smug hatred of the working man.
I doubt that fine company will ever fully recover from the damage he did. And I believe he was malicious like Obama.

As long as it’s Cains™. We can’t get that in Michigan. Apparently Borden doesn’t do Michigan with most of their product line. They also have Wise™ potato chips. Mom’s family sent them to us by the case, at Christmas. We can’t buy Cains mayo, and we can’t buy Wise chips. What the actual f:)

Strangely enuff, try Amazon. When I can’t find some food I’m looking for I check Amazon. You might have to buy quantities larger than you normally would and skirt scammers who want a rediculous price but you can usually find it. Yes, I found Cain’s for sale.

Yes, but unless I miss my guess, the real battle is just about to commence. Difference is, I think we have a leader this time, who stacked his side already. And has a back bone. And throws out conventional rules of warfare in the political arena.

I loved that moment. My husband and I watched together last night, as we were both at work. This may be the first time he’s watched a speech since Reagan, I’d bet. Not a man to sit still for words. But he loved it. He believed it. He needed it.

The real battle’s not only about to start but it’s going to be a long and hard one as they have the resources and aren’t about to give up theirs seats at the trough easily. They also have that street rabble on their side as they promise them seats at the kiddie table they don’t have to work for.
Keep your ammo dry and your entrenching tool sharp, it’s gonna be a long and hard fight.

E tool was listed, have both the old wood handled one and the newer one with the folding handle. That one with the folding handle makes a great field potty seat if you have two, not good for much else.
Pistol is problem…which one, which one? May just have to take two. If you take point take the shotgun.

Born 4/26/70, she will be 47 years old in 3 months. Pregnancy is certainly not impossible, but unless she is actively trying to achieve it, is not highly likely. I think it’s a stretch to suggest she has a baby bump. Besides, when in the last 4 months has President Trump had the time to bring that about? The man works 20 hours a day.

News reporting that Trump and Pence went to the National Cathedral for an interfaith prayer service this AM. News also reported that a number of the, as they described it, ‘largely liberal congregation’ objected to his being in the cathedral. Guess there weren’t too many Christians in that ‘liberal’ congregation. Can’t wait until they join hands with the liberal Moslems.

Judt watched an ad on TV where a woman, obviously undergoing chemotherapy, is having a touching moment with her hubby in the kitchen. It’s an ad for Coffee-mate. Now if the ad wasn’t coarse enough Coffee-mate is owned by Nestles, which has been acting a lot like pharmaceutical company of late. Really, Nestles?

I have to show this to the Mrs. when she return from the market. I’ve had several phone calls from her on the way to get fresh fish regarding crowds of migrant idiots walking in the street instead of on the sidewalk. I’ve asked her to remain calm, but I hear helicopters hovering about where she should be. I fear for the protesters, but better them than me.

Usual Suspect shot and killed his girl friend then shot and killed responding officer from a New Orleans bedroom community. Usual Suspect then made it to the largest, busiest bridge in NOLA where he climbed over the side and on to the scaffolding, threatening to jump.
Press arrived so responders couldn’t just let the POS jump or help him jump so said POS jammed up the Friday afternoon traffic into the evening. Even more progressive drivers stuck in that traffic, I’m told, were yelling for him to jump.
Early in the evening the turd finally shot himself, medics/SWAT went over the side, pulled him and rushed him to the hospital. This aftetnoon he succumbed to his wounds, yet another case of guuuuun viollllllence. Yet another young Usual Suspect male who could have had a career as a nuclear engineer or astrophysicist lured to the dark side by the siren song of guns.
