Watching a cop on COPS pat down a suspect, find drugs in his pants and have the patee tell the officer that the pants he’s wearing aren’t his. Must happen more often than I thought it does.

It’s not unusual for the thuggies to not have planned an excuse if they get caught and they ain’t quick enough to pull a viable one off the top of they haids. The ‘this isn’t my (fill in the blank) officer’ seems to be an almost genetic excuse. You just shake your head and shrug it off.

Might be a diffrin’ one, these were two yoyos who were allegedly doing their laundry when tne cops stopped them in the parking lot. Appears that ‘these ain’t my pants, officer’ isn’t as rare an excuse, but it’s still funny.

The thought of getting caught is furthest from the front of their minds, especially on hooker stings. I always thought hooking was a petty crime and not worth the effort when there were larger crimes to be dealt with but the teams working it had a lotta great stories.

In my late teens, we were parked in a suburban neighborhood, as usual, smoking our stuff. Cops pulled up on this rainy night, and got us all out of the car. My buddy had a big 1/2 ounce in his pocket. And a hole in his pocket through which that baggie was clearly visible. The cop told him to take the baggie out of his pocket, while shining his MagLite on it. My buddy said, “What baggie?” The cop said “That one!” and pointed.

They made us tear it up and grind it into the street with our feet.

I’ve got so many good memories of how the cops treated us in the Boston area.

They always let us go. We weren’t the hardened criminals. We were always just smoking and talking, in five cars at once.

One time they caught us doing that, got us all out of our cars, and one of the cops YELLED, “OKAY, HANDS UP!”

We all put our hands up, in a line.

He laughed, and said, “I always wanted to say that! Go home, guys.”

I didn’t pee myself, but I’m guessing a couple of us did.

A wee bit of weed……..asn’t svproblem, we’d just have ’em dimp it down a street drain, the crack, meth and heroin were the problem. By the time I left I was all for giving them all the hard dope they wanted for free and let ’em wink out. I can remember one or two who stayed sober after a program…or at least stayed sober long enough for me not to see them relapse.
Considering the damage the hard junkies cause and the cost-versus-cures rate I was just thinking euthanasia would have benefitted all concerned.

Last night BOR had the president of the border patrol union (?) Brandon Judd. He went over the whole Catch and Release program.
“There is a buzz in the Border Patrol that we have never heard before,” he rejoiced. “We feel we now have a president who we can trust and who has the political will to secure the border. We expect to see a lot of policies changed that have undermined border security. Right now we just release most of the illegal immigrants we arrest, we are rewarding them for breaking our laws. President Trump’s rise was based on his border security stance.”

    A message from OUR Sheriff…

It’s 3AM, Friday, January 20th, 2016. Along with members of the Pittsburgh Police Department, we are being bused into downtown Washington D.C. for today’s Presidential Inauguration. From their digital devices, those around me are watching indelible images of overnight rioting by those we will be confronting in the hours ahead.

We ride quietly, yet anxiously to an undisclosed location on Pennsylvania Avenue where we will remain until sometime Friday night. I’m so proud of the deputies who accompany me on this assignment. Each deputy knows the dangers that lie ahead, yet the enthusiasm in which they accept this particular detail demonstrates their commitment to our country’s democracy.

The black bags strapped to our legs, opposite of our sidearms, contain gas masks that are a startling reminder of a country in turmoil. I’m not naive to believe today’s swearing in of President-Elect Donald J. Trump will immediately reverse this tide. But, I can honestly say we welcome a much needed change in the highest office in the land.

This will likely be my last post of the day. When we chat again, we will do so knowing that we will have a Commander-in-Chief who respects the many sacrifices made by American Law Enforcement across this country everyday. And without the restoration of this law and order, as a society, we are destined for destruction.

    God Bless America!!!!

        Excellent observation, Cetera.

He knows it’s probably even more boring and exasperating for the baby, and so does what needs to be done, for him and the baby.

I spoke with a friend of mine from my restaurant today, who dislikes Trump to an extreme, illogical, media-fed level. I was telling him about yesterday’s concert and speech at the Lincoln Memorial, and his main beef was that Baron wasn’t present. I don’t know if he was or not, but that’s what he was told, and that’s what his point of contention was. I bet Baron was there, and he was just told that by a network personality, and believed it.

This guy is ten years my senior, and I told him, politely, that his point was rather petty.

He said, “Who knows? Maybe Baron, the little rich boy, doesn’t like his dad.”

I said “Well, that’s a rather petty point to make, bro. The speech was excellent.”

I also spoke of how much damage the Clintons and their staff did on their way out, and he was incredulous, didn’t believe me, and asked me, “If all that theft and damage happened, how come it wasn’t reported?” I referred him to the NYT and WaPo, and he still said, “I watch news all the time, and I never saw it, you can’t believe the internet, and I don’t believe it.”

This guy is just a bit younger than our Joshua. And only believes his TV.

What she came out of, what she escaped, in the 70s.

She knows horror, and fear, and everything you can associate in your mind with the former Soviet Union. Her cousins and uncles were sent to uranium mines, where they would toil and die within two weeks.

An American soldier married her, and she was a server at our restaurant for many years.

He came to all the Christmas parties and was the life of the party every year.

She had to quit working last year because of an infection in her foot, which went to the bone. We thought it would be amputated. We prayed, and expected what I saw today. She’s almost spry. She came into the restaurant to eat lunch and bring chocolates. She always brings chocolates.

And she loves America. The 21 gun salute at her hubby’s funeral surprised us all, then brought tears to our eyes.
