Yes. Toby Keith had the song and wanted to do a duet with Willy Nelson. He didn’t know him. He saw him at a party and told Willy that he wanted to do a duet with this song. Willy kinda kept walking and told Toby to send him a demo tape and he would listen to it. Then, he stopped and turned and asked what the name of the song was. When Toby said “Whisky for My Men, Beer for My Horses” Willy just said, “Never mind. I’ll do it.” They got to be good friends after that.

Thank you for that. I don’t remember it. How touching that they play our National Anthem…. but you could hear people singing the words, it seemed. Very touching.

TMZ (Thirty Mile Zone, FYI, around Hollywood) is actually better MSM than most of the MSM networks, and the commenters are mainly astute.
Hard to believe, I know. Then again, National Enquirer was telling truths the MSM wouldn’t touch more than a decade ago.
