        Tea Party were the shock troops of the Conservative Revival. They gave foundering conservstive sonething to rally around while the movement regained its feet. It served its purpose and faded back once the conservative movement got monentum back.

          Being labeled, especially being labeled “Tea Party” at that particular point in time, can be frightening, or fun.

          After a lifetime of labels unsuccessfully being attached to people like me (and my son), have recently learned we now have a new label – synaesthesia.

            I believe the Leftcwas totally surprised by the emergence, popularity and strength of the Tea Party. They couldn’t gain momentum enough to counter them so they were left, so to speak, with no other meansvto fight them but lies and ridicule.
            The MSM and media stressed the teisted and half-truths and seasoned it all with ridicule that some of the more…theatrical…Tea Partyers helped along. But in the end the Left was only stroking its own folks, those conservstives looking for a focus used the Tea Party to group and get us where we are. Hats off to them, even the funny hats.

    “I am a mom from Michigan. I am an outsider. And I am going to do everything I can to make Donald Trump and Republicans everywhere successful,” McDaniel said following the election.

    McDaniel said she was humbled to become the second woman elected to chair the RNC.

    “For far too long, Democrats have hailed themselves as the party of women. As Republicans, we know their so-called monopoly on being the party of women is false, and it is a mindset I intend to change,” she said to applause.

    Dick Morris believes that Obama is laying the groundwork to pardon Hillary by pardoning Manning, Lopez & Cartwright.

    I don’t think Obama will pardon Hillary, Obama is too arrogant, Obama believes that Trump will pardon Obama when Hillary throws him under the bus to save the nation the embarrassment of the first black president being prosecuted as a traitor. You can’t take the narcissism out of the narcissist. Less than 24 hours for Obama to pardon a woman he loathes and more importantly a woman Val J and Michelle loathe. A woman who is married to man who said “Just a few years ago Obama would be carrying out bags and fetching our coffee.

    Obama has never been able to put his personal feelings aside in any matter.

    If Obama does pardon The Beast it it will likely by around midnight.

    I’m watching the live broadcast of Trump laying thevwreath at the Tomb of the Unknowns. It’s a bit overcoming, unlike the feelings of anger I felt when our pan-Afican Baathist POS (after eight years I’ll leave the ‘tu’ out once) soiled the Tomb by walking on it…when he couldn’t pawn the job off.

    Is Fox becoming the new CNN? During the wreath laying the anchor said that Arlington was donated to the US government by a grandaughter of George Washington. It was far from donated, unless he’s using the definition from the progressive Democrat playbook, far, far from it.
    He also, while blathering on, tried to compliment, so to speak, Trump on his transition but twice said how the process was ‘careless’. It looked like someone prompted him in his ear and he corrected it to a less pejorative word like ‘carefree’. Idiots.

        It’s a revolving door, or a Massachusetts “rotary”, with the entrances and exits being non-FOX media, government, and the foil, the Dread Pirate FOX. Any given season, any of their “stars” might be in any of the destinations, and the next season, they all change places. But, it’s still all the same acting company.

        It’s why I quit watching TV more than 15 years ago.

        My Bumpa (grandpa on Mom’s side) had three-way bulbs in his living room when I was a kid. In touch-lamps (touch the body of the lamp and it turns it on and changes the brightness each time you touch it.) He wired them to potted plants, just a wire from the central post of the lamp, ending with a nail into the dirt.

        When you touched the leaves of the plant (usually a succulent of some kind), you could alter the brightness of the lamp. The man was a genius.

    My landlady bought two 4-packs of 100w incandescents today. She was surprised that they were still available.

    Not me. Regulations mean less than Laws. And lately, Laws don’t mean anything.

    Thanks, Democrats. Your actions produced unintended consequences. One of those unintended consequences are “Screw your regulations!” because you set the precedent and said “Screw the Law!” for the last 8 years.

    I’m going to be selling loosies on the corner of Broadway and Phoenix this weekend.

    Hey, if Hillary can do what she did, and walk (okay, stumble), I can do far less a crime.

      You can still find most things they’ve outlawed still new and in a box if you know where to look. Just because they outlawed them doesn’t mean you can’t sell them and some folks were smart and knew people weren’t going to like the new light bulbs and toilets to name a few and loaded up on them and held them back when everyone was busy buying their new energy efficient bulbs and toilets.
      Of course you can’t buy used light bulbs, but you can buy used washing machines, refrigerators, dishwashers, etc., they’ll never force me to use their stuff that doesn’t work, I know where all the auctions, flea markets, yard sales and junk stores are. 🙂
