    copied from the internet:

my great grandmother perfected a dish that made use of a common pest abundant on her eastern Montana homestead, and like the capybara, it is a member of the rodent family. Of course, I am referring to the marmot, or whistle pig as Granny called them. This recipe is probably the root of a family tradition—never waste beer, ammo, or something potentially edible.

    What You’ll Need
1 marmot (the bigger the better) skinned, quartered, and deboned
    2 1/2 cans grain beer
    2 cups buttermilk
    1/2 cup water
    4 large garlic cloves, pressed
    1 large onion, chopped
    2 large potatoes, cubed
    3 large carrots, chopped
    6-8 mushrooms, whole
    2 strips bacon, chopped
1 tbsp. Lea & Perrins Worcestershire Sauce

    Preparation
In a large bowl or marinating pan, combine the buttermilk, one can of beer, and two cloves of garlic. Soak the marmot meat in this mixture. Overnight is recommended, but soaking the meat for a couple of hours will suffice. In a large skillet, cook the chopped bacon until lightly crisped. Using a slotted spoon, remove the bacon and set aside, leaving the drippings in the pan. With the skillet on low heat, add a portion of onions, a pinch of garlic, and the Worcestershire sauce. Once the mixture is aromatic, add the meat and brown lightly on both sides. Once the meat is browned, add the contents of the skillet, one-and-a-half cans of beer, the bacon, and the rest of the ingredients to a slow cooker. Set the cooker on low and stir periodically. Once the potatoes and carrots are cooked through, the meal is ready.

    Tips & Tricks
Depending upon how the marmot was procured, it might be important to remove any bullet fragments from the flesh. Use only the larger cuts of meat; forgo rib and head sections as they’re not worth the trouble. Feel free to get creative with the marinade, as marmot can be a touch stringy. Buttermilk really works wonders as a tenderizer, and teriyaki, sweet chili sauce, maple syrup, or a host of other things may be added according to one’s tastes. If you’re feeling especially gourmand-ish, drain the stew liquid into a separate bowl and add seasoned flour to turn out some unique gravy, then serve the whole mess over a bed of rice. This recipe also works wonders with rabbit, game birds, and even neck roasts from larger game. Keep it simple, and when your guests ask what kind of meat you used, tell them it’s whistle pig. They’ll just assume it’s some sort of pork. Bon appétit.

  13. So, just to prove how far the indoctrination goes, here is a question that was in my college text book (paraphrased):

You are in charge of community corrections and you must make an appointment of someone to the head a particular department. There are two men up for the position. One is black, has fifteen years of service, and gets good scores on his continuing education tests that are given by the state. The other is white, has twenty years of service, and scores near the top of the exams. A retiring judge tells you she thinks the black man should be appointed because most of the neighborhood this department would be working with is black, and so he is her recommendation. Who would you pick and why?

I’m glad we didn’t actually have to answer this one, because being PC isn’t my style and I would have probably written a rant about MLK and judging people on character and qualifications not skin color (and probably would have thrown in something about the soft bigotry of low expectations while I was at it, too.) This pandering nonsense is getting out of hand.

But what do you all think?

“There are two men up for the position.
Yeah, yeah. Nether one are the wife’s nephew, but you have to make it look like there is a chance. I wonder if I can claim overtime for interviewing these shmucks…..

“One is black, has fifteen years of service, and gets good scores on his continuing education tests that are given by the state.”
Obviously someone else’s nephew. Nobody scores that well on the test.

“The other is white, has twenty years of service, and scores near the top of the exams.”
Isn’t this the same guy that was found to only show up for two hours before leaving to play golf the rest of the day?

“A retiring judge tells you she thinks the black man should be appointed because most of the neighborhood this department would be working with is black, and so he is her recommendation.”
Oops. I guess we know who’s nephew it is.

First…define “community corrections” in terms of objectives, goals, and measurement.

Second…define what “years of service” actually MEANS in terms of competency, accomplishment, successful vision, wisdom, universal maturity, communications skills…or merely TIME IN PLACE.

Third…decide not to hire anyone and let the Community Correct itself on its own.

      My answer?

Our current president was raised by his white grandparents and he is considered black so if you think that race riots, ambushing and murdering police officers, becoming the godfather of ISIS, 20 trillion dollars in national debt, embracing and encouraging illegal Mexican thugs who kill rape and maim innocent Americans, spitting on our veterans, empowering Sharia Law proponents and bringing migrants to American who openly state it is their will to kill us all, then you should put whitey in charge of the black folks.

    WSJ: An Electoral College Coup

FTA: What should really distress Americans is that the losers are trying to overturn the election results based on little more than anonymous leaks and innuendo. Whatever Russia’s hacking motives, there is no evidence that the emails it turned up were decisive to the election result. Mr. Podesta is citing a CIA judgment that Americans have never seen and whose findings are vaguely public only because one or more unidentified officials chose to relate them to a few reporters last week.

Much of the press is reporting these as the gospel truth, though it isn’t clear that the CIA’s judgment is even shared across the intelligence community. The FBI doesn’t share the CIA’s confidence about Russia’s hacking motive, and our sources say the evidence is thin for the CIA’s conclusion.

I haven’t been around much because I’ve been busy. My daughter a few weeks ago one night started having a lot of back pain and a lot of pressure one night. She went to the hospital and no early labor, but the baby had dropped extremely low. They didn’t put her on complete bedrest but told her to take it easy, no lifting including her son. He’s a mamas boy, so Nanny has stepped in, not that she’s complaining, but a soon to be 2 year old doesn’t understand why mama can’t “pick up,” but he has learned real quick, “Nanny pick up and give to mama!”
At her Dr. appointment last week she was measuring behind, concerning the doctor, worrying the Nanny. She ordered a growth scan, had it today and all is good. Her cervix is showing no signs of her being so low causing her to go into early labor and her estimated due date hasn’t changed and the ultrasound measurement show her to be right on in size.
So now they’ve decided she’s just going to get to be miserable for the next two months unless the little ornery girl decides to move up, which is still a possibility, but if not she gets to experience the constant pressure that will get worse as she gets bigger along with back pain and feeling like the kid is going to fall out at any minute.
To err on the side of caution, no lifting, no exercising, short walks only until she either moves up or it’s closer to delivery time. Oh and her bladder is taking a beating as well, I get told that several times a day. lol
