Work has been horrendously busy, and I am keeping a fretful eye on home. My dad is progressively worse, but somehow still hanging in there. Bedridden, not eating, and the pain meds are barely keeping up with the incredible pain he is in. We are waiting. And praying.

Eggs fried in bacon grease – just like my Grandma taught me!! I can’t eat bacon fried in the pan or eggs fried in the grease anymore because of reflux. But I will take my Prilosec just so I can keep on eating bacon, and we fry the eggs in a little real butter. We take center-cut bacon and microwave it. It’s really good.

Sigh…coming up on 60 pigs now and no bacon, all look closer to ‘Arnie’ rather than Arnold the pig, no fat on them, gives me a lowered ex-speck-tations. Lotta sausage for those morning sausage and cheese biscuits though, my wurst käse scenario.

LOL! I needed a good chuckle today. Last night we had “Metzgete” — a classic fall butcher’s meal: ham, liverwurst, bloodwurst, pork sausage, ribs, sauerkraut and pan-fried potatoes. Uff-dah! That’s a lot of good food!

If Hillary had won I know we would not act like the brain dulled belligerent morons in the street because we have come to our conclusion about who Hillary is through educating ourselves not by being led by a group of hate mongers posing as the free press.
That said I am not convinced that a Hillary presidency would not have resulted in an uprising of patriots who refused to give up our God, our guns or our liberty. Our actions would have been measured and constitutional the anarchists in the street are just there because they are moronic puppets and have no idea that the Constitution is the Law of the Land. They have zero interest in the sovereignty of the United States. They are solely driven by their hatred, fear, emotional unbalancedness and spiritual vapidness.

I read some stats on the election. Strangely, votes for Trump were down in the over 60 crowd over the votes for Romney in 2012, and the votes were up in the 20’s group. Also black and hispanic votes were up over those for Romney.

I firmly believe the dislike of Hillary, her history and what she represented was the rainbow issue that broke the Rat base. She also failed to connect with a lot of minority voters as she couldn’t convince them that she was ‘for’ them, she had to have minority shills try to sell her. How many Latino and black voters do you think gave a Rat’s ass if some old Gringa/cracker lady made history being the first female POTUS?

I’ve had several occasions to look back at how we ranted and raved after Obama won and that it went on for 8 years. Also at how we detested Bill Clinton. I distinctly remember people saying “He’s not my president” about Obama. My memory is fuzzier back to Clinton. When did the “he’s not my president” thing really start? Did people in the 1800’s say stuff like this? We’ve been at loggerheads with each other for a long time. I wish I could find where some historian has gone back and documented this behavior.

My parents were very concerned. But, Mom was Southern Baptist and I grew up having the impression that Catholics were (sorry) heathens who worshiped idols. So, I think that was probably a lot of the reason for her concern. I really didn’t know what was going on at the time. I had no interest in politics at all.

It finally cooled off here enough so that the air conditioner isn’t running. It was about 40* when I got up this morning. I actually had to put on long pants and a coat to take my doggie for a walk. Not complaining at all. It is still sunny all day and is really nice.

My photobucket just became totally useless (I had two closed one) it would flash a giant advertisement over the screen, it took forever to load, it locked me out then I got an email saying “come on back everything is fixed” 🙄.
So I closed one account and haven’t even checked on the other one. PB has a policy that they don’t close your account for 30 days after your request but if you look at your account to see if it is closed the 30 day clock starts all over again (I think that is what the policy is as it was a bit convoluted in the wording).
Anyhow I like imgur. I haven’t had any problems loading or posting images or gifs with it.

consider…. trump voters 130,415 in the state of Alaska for 3 electoral votes = 43,471 votes per EV. Clinton voters 4,143,874 in the state of New York for 29 electoral votes = 142,892 votes per EV. IT took 3.2 voters in New York to equal the 1 vote in Alaska.That is not democracy.
My response:
The United States of America is a Republic – not a Democracy. That is the point. The electoral college levels the playing field for minority states. Sort of an 18th century version of affirmative action. Get it?

Once your image is in imgur (which doesn’t seem to be a problem for you)
Double click the image that you want to post, that should open up the picture as a stand alone image with a menu on the right side, that is where the link choices should be?

My laptop has a particular issue – computer geek set it up to not download much. JavaScript was totally deleted, and recommended no Adobe updates – plus it’s old. And windows. Hell, I’ve got an IT guy next door but I don’t think I’ll be whining to him about “my pictures don’t look to suit me”…… if ya’s know what I mean! I’ll wait ’til both eyeballs can focus before I worry too much about it….. 😀

I’m there, Col and Mary are there, (I think Wooly said that he is there) Wee and Stella are on the waiting list. Andrew (White American Trump supporter) and Ekrembk (Muslim living in Turkey who does not support Trump) co founded Gab to counter the censorship at Twitter and FB.
Ideally their call is for people of all walks of life to join which is oft repeated. There is no censorship outside of the requirement that posts must be complaint with US law.
So far I believe it is 99% Nationalists who support Trump’s presidency but there are a few liberals. I don’t follow them so I don’t see what they post unless someone that I do follow reposts their nonsense.
Lots of good stuff and good people. Lots of silly stuff. Some hate. Some drama queens. But in option no mean spiritedness, very very few tsk tsk tskers and no outright trouble makers in my “group” anyhow,
The one liberal I encountered went after a fellow poster whose brother died just a few days ago. She talked about it on Gab and she was a Trump supporter. The liberal said she was a hypocrite because she is killing people like her brother by electing Trump who is going to do away with Obama care. (Yet her brother died while we have Obama Care, Liberals are the same morons everywhere) He called her awful names and said terrible things about her.
The ugly poster was not removed but he was responded to by several people and then I assume many people put him on mute. It is a very good format for people who have the stomach for it because instead if silencing irrational twats it exposes them and then they are placed in the oblivion tank.
A more liberal membership may emerge but I doubt it. As the liberals can and never will win in the arena of ideas. So it is a very nice haven from that nincompoopery.

My daughter’s baby shower was this afternoon and although she was very appreciative of all she received and for the people who came as was I, some folks I just don’t understand. One friend was upset that she didn’t have a registry anywhere and it made it hard knowing what to buy.
She tried to explain to her that she’s never felt good about registries because to her it’s like she’s begging or demanding certain gifts. The friend couldn’t seem to get over it and said it made it too hard and it’s just easier to look at a list.
I guess some folks just don’t get it, btw her favorite two gifts were a hat a family member crocheted for her and a blanket an older friend crocheted for her.
I’m just happy the weddings and showers are over, now I just have to get through Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years/Grandson’s birthday. I need the world to slow down a bit. lol
