More than half of the anti-Trump protesters arrested in Portland didn’t vote in Oregon, according to state election records.
At least sixty-nine demonstrators either didn’t turn in a ballot or weren’t registered to vote in the state.
KGW compiled a list of the 112 people arrested by the Portland Police Bureau during recent protests. Those names and ages, provided by police, were then compared to state voter logs by Multnomah County Elections officials.
Records show 34 of the protesters arrested didn’t return a ballot for the November 8 election. Thirty-five of the demonstrators taken into custody weren’t registered to vote in Oregon.
Twenty-five protesters who were arrested did vote.
KGW is still working to verify voting records for the remaining 17 protesters who were arrested.
Video at link.
So, either they didn’t vote at all, or they were from another state. To be fair, Portland is on the border with Washington, so it is possible that many of those arrested were from that state, instead.
There has to be a way to make people know that these protesters are being bussed in and paid to instigate trouble.

I wrote somewhere (here or next door) that this is nothing new. Most of the people involved in the Seattle riot of 1886 were labor union thugs from elsewhere. Of course none of the current history books or Google search results produce anything other than the Chinese were treated as badly as the Indians, but books written within 20 years of the event mention that the streets were full of people that no body knew. In fact it was the local militia that stopped it by shooting and almost killing the leader of the group. Then the protesters just stayed there and got jobs, ready to protest again when needed.
I bet if they look further into the history of the ones that did vote, they have only been around since OWS.

Try and get your leftist friend to read this with the open mind his caste is supposedly known for, and is actually their best quality.
Even if he is the type who would immediately jump to DISQUALIFY upon seeing “National Review” in a link. Cut and paste it for these people.
If all else fails, dare him to read it and if they don’t, threaten to grab him by his p***y.

For the last two days Inside Edition has been trumpeting a special piece on ‘will top fashion designers boycott Melania Trump?’. Made it sound as if they had some scoop on how designers PO’d with the unacceptable far right Trumps would turn their coke-sotted noses up at using Melania as a fashion horse. Comes down to the story and it was about a 2 minute piece on how unsupported, anonymous speculation was that the designers would go into a snit, forcing a chastised Melania to use offshore designers. IE’s conclusion was, a 180 from the tone they set, no US designer in his/her/its right mind would snub her. Is this the crap we gotta put up with for the next four years, at least?

The thing is, the clothing lines are just hobby businesses. These boycotts against the public product lines does not create pressure on Trump or his family. It only goes to anger employees that see hours cut due to lower sales.

Yeah, I usually don’t check their political positions but I must remember to do so before I buy my next Armani or Dolce & Gabbana.

Some chap regularly calls a talk show here and talks with the host Vicki McKenna. I only caught him once but he voted for Trump 😀 and said most black people he knows did also. He was getting paid (or so he says) $1,500.00 a week in cash to protest Trump events.

So if he works 40 hours, he’s getting about $37 per hour under the table. If he was a W2 employee he would be getting around $55 per hour.
It won’t impact your section 8 housing or food stamp allotment. Nice. Who needs a regular job. 4 years (or 8 if they vote Trump again to continue getting paid for protesting) of guaranteed pay with no drug test or drinking/smoking clause

Like I said I only caught him once but Vicki said he was a regular caller and he said has been doing protests for a while and they both talked about him previously calling into the show to talk about his protest work.

Yep. I didn’t hear the beginning of the conversation but I think he attended a couple of events a week.
