Now these Leftist are for the Electoral College. If I recall win 2000 there line of BS was to delete the Electoral College………..

        I believe that there is a very, very low chance of this happening, Col. However, very low is not zero. The chances of it occurring are greater than zero. I absolutely believe Soros will make it happen if he can do so.

        It doesn’t matter who wins the popular vote in this country, and literally never has. It only matters who wins the electoral college vote, and they are not beholden to the voters in any way, per the U.S. Constitution. The states choose the electors, but the electors choose the President.

      Just tell me when you’ve had enough…

      My mother is currently very, very worried about this possibility, and asked me today what we can do about if it occurs.

      To start with, there are two basic laws of fallen/natural humanity that apply at all times, and fit very well with the order of nature in that life outside of civilization is nasty, brutish, and short.

      These two laws of humanity are the Golden Rule, and Gun Control. The are corollaries of each other, and may vary a little from what you might have heard.

      The Golden Rule: He who has the gold makes the rules.
      Gun Control: He who has the gun is in control.

      Soros absolutely believes and lives by these two laws.

      If the electors of the electoral college decide to vote in Hillary instead of Trump, that is their prerogative. That’s how the Constitution was set up. That doesn’t mean it won’t be a dastardly violation of everything we know and hold dear, but that isn’t really the point. It will be legal, and it will be final, and there is no legal recourse.

      As our founders said, our Constitution is fit to govern only a moral and religious people, and is wholly unsuited to any other. If the electors choose that, then there can be no argument that the Constitution has failed, because we have failed.

      That leaves precisely two choices, two options. You can knuckle under and deal with it, or you can start a war and have blood run in the streets until one side is completely dominant and the question of who’s in charge never again arises for a minimum of 100 years. There is no middle ground. This is a purely binary choice. Any illusion of a middle ground rapidly devolves into one of the binary choices.

      We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.

      That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness. Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.

      My mother doesn’t want to see it that way. I asked her, are you willing to die for what you believe in? That answer is very quick. “Yes, of course.” Are you willing to kill for what you believe in? That answer doesn’t come at all, and if it does, the answer is usually no.

      Clausewitz said “War is the continuation of politics by other means.” The corollary is also true. Politics is the continuation of war by other means.

      Ultimately, any law, including the Constitution, means exactly what someone who is willing to kill you says it means. When laws are passed, they are enforced at gunpoint by men willing to kill resisters. Voting is exercising lethal force. What you vote for will be put into law. If that law is disregarded or ignored, people with guns will show up and enforce compliance of that law. Failure to acquiesce to those armed people will result in your incarceration, or if actively resisted, death. Period, the end, full stop.

      If you are not willing to kill someone over what you are voting for, you shouldn’t vote for it. It doesn’t matter whether that issue is abortion, taxes, or anything else. Those who disagree with you and choose to do so in an active manner will have their lives cut short.

      Thankfully, in our society, it rarely comes to this. Most people have no desire to push the limits to these extremes, and are willing to wait to make changes during the next election, and actively recruit others to assist them in that endeavor, forming tribes that will exercise lethal force in their own interest. Ultimately, the law says exactly what the person who is willing to kill you over it says, unless you can kill him first. That leaves us right back where we were, though. You did the killing, were better prepared and able and willing, and were victorious. You now decide what the law says.

      It would be a very, very foolish thing for the electors to make such a decision with the country in the current state it is in. However, the chance of it occurring is greater than zero.

      Once politics becomes war, it cannot be stopped. It doesn’t matter who starts it. It doesn’t matter how many wish it to be halted and reversed. The situation will play itself out until the end, until one side wins and the other side stops fighting. In the end, the victor will eliminate any remaining threat from any populace who fought against it, either through extermination, elimination of rights, slavery, etc. There will be no quarter given, and none received. The way of life for the loser is over forever.

      Consider as an example the South, during the Civil War here in the U.S. In order to rejoin the Union after defeat, the southern states were forced to pass amendments to the Constitution, and all governments active under rebellion were dismissed. Union Generals took control of all governing functions of the rebel states under military law and rule. The rebel states lost the right to govern themselves until they comported themselves with Northern/Union ideals.

      One can never know in advance what spark will ignite the furnaces of war, but you don’t have to know the ignition source to see the fuel and tinder that has been stacked higher and higher in preparation for the fire. The sides are drawn. The battle lines exist. Should a spark occur, historians will say the conflict was absolutely inevitable, and unavoidable, and they will ponder and wonder why it was that no one in our time could see it or do anything to stop it. The answer most likely would not be understood, that for both sides it was determined that life under the rule of the other could not be tolerated at any cost.

      Once the spark is lit, there is no telling where the fire will spread. It will create its own wind, burning oxygen, producing heat, giving rise to air which will create a low pressure zone which will suck in more oxygen, etc. The fire will spread, haphazardly, uncontrollably.

      The only choice you will have, should that spark occur, will be whether to participate, or not. You will only get one narrow window to make that decision. That decision will be irrevocable. Once the fire has been put out, it will not be able to be lit again for a long time (too damp, too little fuel, etc), and further resistance will not be tolerated.

      So ponder now, ponder deeply. Pray about it. Determine, as best as you are able, what is possible and what your choice will be. Trust in God to guide you should the time come, and listen for His promptings. The Spirit will move you, but you will have to surrender to it, and listen to it, and act upon the promptings without delay, without hesitation, not knowing, not understanding.

      Pray that it never, ever, comes to this. Pray that they do not make such a foolish choice, when riots are already going on and clashes will so easily spread out of control. Pray that the spark does not occur, unless the fire is necessary for God’s will to bring about new growth. Even then, I pray that it need not happen.

        I’ve heard this before, that the common man is only used to lift one “elite’ up so the other “elite’ can rule. Can’t remember source, sorry.
        Necessary to shoot, die, vote, revolt, protest etc., and then is cast aside until further needed.
        Biblical reference once noted by a former pastor of Moses, when his “hands were held up”, the army of God prevailed. But when he let down his arms, they were routed. Who was it actually doing all of the dying out there? Common man.

      Mary, full disclosure, I did not read the whole article.

      Conclusion the Electoral College is going to ratify President Elect Donald Trump on December 19th.

      Hillary is a pawn.

      She is a hated nonviable pawn who would damage the DNC brand beyond repair especially if the EC under the tutelage of Soros tried to foist her on a very loud and energized American public. The Left is not quite ready for that amount of blood to run in the streets, not while we are still well armed and not while the majority of the Left’s warriors are pissing themselves over imaginary phantom boogey men and fighting back with safety pins, tears and shrieking. Their lamb to wolf percentage is not so good.

      Team Soros with the help of the DNC and RNC is instead IMO already working on impeaching DJT. They will be looking for every and any offense that they can turn into a crisis and attempt to turn the deplorable’s against Trump by saying that Trump betrayed those who supported him, their first goal is to make the people of the movement believe Trump has betrayed us and turn us against him.

      One of their tentacles the MSM has already tipped their hat with all this nonsense about how Trump has already flipped on Obama care and immigration.

      Impeaching Trump weakens the the movement. Staging a coup emboldens it.

      Team Soros is up a creek. They thought this election was stolen, in the bag, nothing to worry about, Hillary didn’t even have a concession speech prepared and had already signed “Madam President” magazines. The decimation of our country is a decades long war and this a large a setback for the forces against freedom but they are patient and immoral team.

      Their very real problem is reworking their entire game plan in just 40 days is simply an insurmountable task. Fortunes have already been allotted. Plans already implemented but then Hillary lost and that threw them into a tail spin.

      Team Soros has for decades worked to change the heart of humanity, there is a reason they influence every level of academia and control the Media, they must control the hearts of a larger portion of the people than they currently have in their basket in order for an electoral coup to work.

      Anyhow those are my thoughts. And pray, pray, pray for Trumps safety.

      Good article Mary, read it through.
      Posted here on election day, that this possibility started bugging me earlier that morning. I was uniformed on electoral process and had gotten into heated discussion about the process which led to researching it, (thanks to CTH and you all), to discover that electors are NOT bound.
      My thought that morning was that with some posts estimating a closer winning EC vote, say Trump 273-Clinton 268 or similar, that there could be a possibility of a “few” flipping, and there has been a few in past years whom have.

      Thought now, is that with the PTB knowing how the election was really polling, that the “popular” vote was going to be needed, maybe even more so, and in my mind led to vote tampering. This includes flipping at machines, felons voting, Obama encouraging illegals, under reporting in general. Watching election night and the manipulations going on in the reporting of the states, particularly FL, PA, NC heck, even NH and ME, it appeared shenanigans were afoot.
      There are reports out there that 3-5 states were stolen. 120 million or so votes does not feel accurate, would only be true if a huge majority were for Trump, say 70-50 million. I cannot realistically believe more people voted for Hillary. Even with CA and all of its illegal votes, which by the way was provided for by a judge overturning the “popular” vote of Prop 187. Denied drivers license/benefits to illegals. (Not to mention Prop 8 which was similarly overturned). So there is that already established “gov’t knows better” precedent in place. Thank you CA.
      There was so much enthusiasm being reported, new voters, never voters, huge rallies etc. that the turnout had to be better than reported. But this would go against Obama numbers, and so couldn’t be allowed. The Donald can NOT be the new shining light of the American public.

      Agree with Lovely, they thought they had it in the bag enough to prepare headlines and covers with the first Women President, but even their manipulations didn’t account for the “Monster Vote”, and it still fell short, but NOT short enough if they can keep this popular vote thing alive.
      Love Cetera’s post, and hope that there is little chance of this scenario happening. But, would not put anything past them, they have proven to be deplorable at every turn thus far. And, there are TRILLIONS at stake. And the media is still providing the narrative.

      Could this also be why Ryan is being nice as well. In effort to “heal” the nation, could he possibly be chosen instead of “two WORST candidates” to ever run? The Donald is portrayed as a monster, people are terrified, scared of the bully, and Hillary is well, a crook. This is why riots are stilled allowed and encouraged.

      I believe that is why President DESIGNATE Trump is being “nice” right now, he has yet to be President ELECT. There is a needle still to be thread until Dec. 19th. Him looking “out of sorts” with Obama meeting, think his hands are tied, right now, and he is ready to roll. But has to wait a bit.

      Game is still afoot, in my opinion, and Stella, I believe there will still be much to discuss here and elsewhere.
      I hope I am wrong. Hope I am not too “concerned”. I hope that the best “candidate’ in CENTURIES is allowed to do what he does best. MakeAmericaGreatAgain.

    Liberals are the prisoners of which Plato spoke who inhabited the cave, forced unknowingly against their will into immobility, shown only shadows of shapes cast by a fire, the prisoners/liberals are tricked into thinking the shadows make sounds, they are certain that what they see is the only possible reality.

    One cave dweller/liberal is freed, he sees the fire and the objects that cast the shadows but the fire would hurt his eyes and the objects casting the shadows would be foreign. Escaping the pain of the light and the fear of the unknown he returns to the familiar shadows on the wall.

    Then one prisoner/liberal is dragged from the cave into the sunlight. The bright sun blinds him. Everything hurts him but he is not allowed to return to the cave, the sun causes his eyes only pain, but eventually his eyes adjust and he sees the beauty of the world.

    The prisoner/liberal is overcome with joy at sites unseen and he is allowed to return and free the other prisoners/liberals but when he returns to the cave his eyes are blinded unable to immediately adjust to the shadows and darkness. The prisoner/liberal believes that the light he experienced has made him blind. Eventually his eyes adjust to the shadows and he sees his beautiful familiar sites. Shadows.

    Then and there he is certain that it is the light that he experienced outside of the cave that caused his blindness and it terrifies him so that he then and there vows to kill any man who tries to drag him outside again. He sits down and fixates on the soft comforting shadows, for thanks be to the heavens, he can see.

    The revolution that is the Trump movement has dragged many prisoners out into the sun, some will return to the caves to gather others living in darkness and shadows and that familiar comfort of darkness will beguile and comfort them again, but let’s hope many more return to life in the light and bring their fellow liberals into a new dawn. And let us never forget that those who choose to remain in the darkness have taken a vow to never live in the light.

    Those protesters/liberals who carry signs that say “Rape Melania” “Kill Pigs” “All my heroes are cop killers” “F*ck the police” “BLM” “Death to whites” those people, it is more and more clear are the prisoners who has vowed to kill us rather than leave their darkness.

    Dangerous times my friends. Be diligent in the coming days.

    This was in my email this morning, a good reflection from Bishop Robert Barron. It seems to suit our times.

    Friends, today in the Gospel Jesus describes the world’s violent resistance to the establishment of God’s kingdom. From the earliest days until the present, the community of Jesus Christ has been the focus of the world’s violence. There is the old principle: “Kill the messenger,” and it applies here. The Church will announce, until the end of time, that the old world is passing away, that a new world of love, non-violence, and life is emerging. This announcement always infuriates the world of sin—always. The twentieth century proved this by being the bloodiest on record, and the century with the most martyrs.

    Jesus promises to give us “a wisdom in speaking that all your adversaries will be powerless to resist or refute.” What do we do in the meantime? We maintain a detachment from this world which is passing away, our eyes fixed on the world that will never end. And we speak—confidently, boldly, provocatively—the message of the Gospel, the dying and rising of the Lord.”

    The gospel passage is Luke 21, verses 5-19.

    Good morning… I have a question, is it a bad thing to use a blocker like Ghostery? Ever since the neighbor said that there were issues and how to combat them, I have been trying to navigate websites by using these add-ons…. But I don’t want to cause a problem for the people that own the blogs, like depriving them some way I don’t understand.. Ghostery is the latest, and I have to say that I like it so far.. It was really intuitive…

      Basically, I have issues with families passing around political offices.. Just like hearing about how Chelsea is being groomed for a Congressional run… Nope… sorry, but that is a real bias I have.

        Pence/Trump (Ivanka). In 16 years, she’ll be 51,
        with 16 years experience in the Executive branch.

          She is not a natural born citizen. Ivana did not become an American citizen until after all 3 of the children were born. Likewise Barron. Only Tiffany is NBC. I’m not one of those who believe that Obama rendered the definition irrelevant.

        “Majority of Voters chose Clinton!” screamed a Planned Parenthood banner headline two days after the election.

        That theme has been used by many Trump opponents to challenge the legitimacy of his election. It’s like a Cleveland Indians baseball fan yelling that his team won a majority of the runs scored in all seven games. Well, sorry, but the Cubs won four of the seven games, and that’s how the World Series is decided. Trump won the Electoral College vote and that’s how the Presidency is decided under the Constitution.

      From what I read quickly, Ivanka’s mother was not a citizen when she was born. Ivana became a US citizen in 1988(?)…. 11 Years after she married Donald Trump. This all goes back to the debate/discussion about eligibility requirements… If you are an originalist, and have a very restricted views of “natural born” then the elder Trump children do not qualify…. Again, this is a big debate, the past election really hi lighted these issues.

      I’m sure Trump’s children are fine people, but I hope this sort of thing doesn’t start up with them. This is how people came to see the Kennedy’s, and in the long run I just don’t think it’s a very good idea.

    UGH! Back…at 0630 local my laptop suddenly decided to install the avalanche of updates….just over 90 minutes later it finished.
    0600 one of the dogs decided it reallyreallyreally had to go out. Seems it was a mix of bladder and harassing a raccoon that already had a 50 yard head start on her. While I’m standing out in the backyard I had to listen to my neighbor’s large flock of ‘exotic fowl’ (read as fighting cocks) all sounding off to let the world know the sun’s coming up and a huge flock of geese on the lake trying to talk over the roosters.       Oh come on, the liberal vanguard trying to use the moral high ground to justify their losses is like trying to teach a slug to tap dance. Not only did many of their sheep go off to Trump pastures but they couldn’t even muster the flocks to graze in their own.

It’s looking like as time goes on and the holidays interfere with folks’ political feelings they just might go back to more ‘direct actions’ and alienate the centrists even more.     Now I’m watching ‘Drug Wars’ on the Fusion channel (tunes on left left) where a DEA officer in St Louis is out stroking heroin users. Narrator mentioned that the agent’s major in college was social work and I’m betting they hired him just for that.
    I’ve seen the trail of misery from the poppy fields in Asia, South America and the Mideast all the way to the US streets. I feel no sympathy for that arrested heroin junkie writhing on the jail floor in agony, his/her condition was a free choice of that person, very rarely does someone tie a normal person to a bed and inject said pawn until s/he’s a junkie. ,
    I also don’t buy the prog apologist and enabler approach that heroin addiction is a disease. You don’t catch it because a junkie sneezes on you, you don’t catch it from a dirty toilet seat, you make the conscious decision to seek out an illegal substance you’ve been warned about ad nauseam and voluntarily inject it, more than once, into your veins.
    We had a bunch of addicts whose addiction ran them a couple of hundred a day…how do you think they got that money? We had to chaperone HIV/AIDS events…how do you think so many of those infected became so? Ditto Hep A, B and C. By the time you total up the costs of their crimes and their various treatments…..
    I know that summary execution for anyone found to be selling opiates is too good to be true but taking sale and possession/use as a serious crime would be a good start. Some states used to have laws that made sale of heroin a mandatory life sentence but the squishy-law folks got that changed, how about going back to that and putting the convicted into separate prisons (FEMA camps?) where they’d do productive work that would pay back what they’ve cost society? Or we have that summary execution option……
