Dillard (local private traditionally black university) sponsored a debate between the top seven candidates for Vitter’s Senate seat. For some reason the sponsors cut the eligibility for participating just at the line that allowed David Duke to be there.
The university students decided to be a part by protesting Duke being there. Police ended up pepper spraying protestors as they rushed the building to disrupt the debates. Funny watching the protestors demonstrating their 1st Amendment rights while denying Duke his. A few even said that ge didn’t have 1st or 2nd Amendment rights there…nice what educations the younger students be getting.

    I am rude! lol

I was on FB last night and saw a post from this girl who is always asking for free stuff for her infant daughter, clothes, stroller, car seat, etc. and then always asks if they can bring it to her because she has no transportation. Now if I was really rude I would have asked what I was thinking when I saw her asking for a free car seat, “what do you need with a car seat if you don’t have a car?”
Well last night she asked for size 2 diapers. I told her I had a dozen cloth diapers and was immediately asked if they had inserts. I guess she thought I was going to give her these new expensive diapers with snaps that start in about $5 per diaper, probably so she could sell them. I told her no these were pre-folded cloth diapers. She said she didn’t have anyway of attaching them so I told her I had a set of diaper pins. She declined saying she’d have to pass as she couldn’t use them.
This morning I had a bunch of notifications with a few telling her they’d buy her diapers or give her diapers because they weren’t rude like some people. Others said I was rude and disrespectful. She joined in and said I hurt her feelings and obviously had never needed help.

So I was even ruder and told her the difference is when my kids were babies I pinned on diapers and would have pinned on a tea towel(actually I was known to do that a few times while waiting on diapers to dry) before I asked someone to buy or give me diapers.
Then I commented to the others that I don’t really blame this girl, I blame those who enable her by every time she asks for something they jump through hoops to give her what she asks for including hand delivering it to her when it’s convenient for her. If they paid any attention whatsoever they would see that she has sold several lots of clothes within the past few weeks and could have used that money to buy clothes and diapers. Heck, she could give up her phone and/or internet so she’d have more money to spend on her baby.

I’m sure I’m going to really hear how mean I am now. lol

Now I would bet that you, your wife or your mother at some point pinned a tea towel on a baby. lol

This generation is too good for that though and why should they when the government provides everything they need and what they don’t provide they can go get at clothes closets and plus ask for it on FB where they find many suckers.

Our county was having a food drive the other day at the grocery store, gave you a list as you walked in of items needed. I’m fine with food, but I’m not fine with diapers or baby food, poor folks aren’t any better than I am/was and can step off their high horse and use cloth diapers and mash up food so a baby can eat it.

BTW I didn’t even know our county had a food bank before then. I know almost every church has a food locker and many have clothes closets. So between WIC, food stamps, food lockers and clothes closets, why do people need to beg for free stuff?

I don’t get it either. Just because something exists doesn’t mean you should have it, unless you can pay for it. I washed cloth diapers at the laundromat for most of the first year of my daughter’s life. Not fun.

I don’t care if they do it, but it kind of chaps my behind at these women getting WIC and yet they can afford a diaper service.
I went into one when my daughter was pregnant with my grandson looking for regular diapers. I can’t remember the exact price, but you had to buy 4 dozen diapers and inserts and then pay I want to say $50/month and you could only buy their diapers. That was when I got my first sticker shock of how much these diapers cost.

I had a washing machine so that was a big plus.

I guess if I had a baby today I could afford a diaper service, but as they only do it for these new diapers, I’m too tight to spend that kind of money.
I think for that much money I’d just use disposable diapers. Plus I hate these new diapers, my daughter bought a few to try and it’s less trouble just to pin a diaper on.

Speaking of WIC my daughter was telling me one day about hearing her insurance agent discussing with someone else one day about him and his wife getting WIC. The person he was talking to said that she gets WIC and foodstamps although if she married her kids’ father she wouldn’t qualify. Since they aren’t married, although they live together she only has to count her income.

My daughter got upset when she had her son because hospitals now have social workers to come in and tell you what all you may qualify for. She told them she was sure they made to much to qualify and even if they didn’t then she didn’t want it because they could afford to provide for the baby. They insisted she tell them their income and then told them they did make too much, but they could fix some numbers.

So my daughter having been told this asked him as how both of them worked they had to make more than they did so how did he qualify. He told her the WIC office manipulated some numbers so they could qualify.

It made her mad and she told him they were cheating the system, did not renew her insurance and went elsewhere and told him why she was going with someone else.

I once really didn’t have a problem with WIC, but I hear all of this stuff and wonder how many social workers and WIC employees are helping people cheat?

Once I was walking into a mall when my daughters were very young and I noticed a lady looking at me from a car. Raised my eyebrow but that was all. As we are walking through a store the same lady approaches me and seems to be trying to start small talk. Nosey small talk. Both eyebrows raised now and thinking if I’ll have to punch her square in the throat. (Full disclosure I have never in my life struck a single person but I thought she might be a freak).

Anyhow I stayed aware but tried to obviously ignored her and was very curt with my answers. Then she asked me if I knew about the WIC program I said no, because I didn’t, she started to explain it to me and I stopped her and said no I’m not interested in that we do not need it. She then told me it wasn’t only for low income people but to help all moms learn about better nutrition. At this point I got mad and told her to leave us alone or I’d get a security guard.

What does she do? She tells me that I’m not as smart as I think I am and did I know that two pieces of bacon are the same as eating two pats of butter and it doesn’t count as meat on the nutrition scale 🙄(Now if I knew Mike back then he would come in and be the hero at this point, but I digress…)

Anyhow then she had the nerve to ask me for my phone number so she could speak to my husband 😂. Pushy beotch.

I told her to leave again. She huffed and walked off.

He told her no, get out of here.

What made me stop with people with signs was a family that had a sign that said “Will work for food.”
I was on my way to the grocery store when I saw them, so I bought a sack of food for them, canned food, lunch meat, bread, etc. Took it back to them and was told they really needed money.

My daughter and I the other day went to Hobby Lobby and then a few other stores. I saw this guy with a sign saying he needed money for food and gas. He had a toddler in a stroller. The problem was I had saw that same little girl at Hobby Lobby with a woman who had a basket full of stuff. It’s really sad to me that they use their kids that way.

I know a bunch of social workers here. They say not to give money to people asking for it. They give them a card with the number to call for help from Social Services. A lot of those people standing on the street corners know help is available, but they don’t want to follow the rules to get it. Florida has a lot of help available for people who need it.

Big thing #2 down here, #1 thing is disgusting/embarrassing, is the blavk church that was burned in Greenville, MS and ‘vandalized’ with “vote for Trump” painted on the side.
Thing is the city/county/area’s majority black and no one I’ve talked to thinks that any ‘white power’ group would pick some small, out of the way church to vandalize. If you’re gonna go into enemy territory to carry out an attack, why not go big, risks are the same?
This wouldn’t be the first insider torching a church to gain insurance money and/or make a political point. NOT saying pastor did it but while trying to paint the Trump voters as racist, redneck arsonists the FBI might wanna dig around inside of the church. Meanwhile, predictably, a GoFundMe account for the church has been conveniently started.

Well, I did it. I decided to early vote for Trump. I was getting a little anxious about something happening on the 8th, so I decided to go ahead and get my “I Voted Early” sticker. I questioned the people who checked my ID about voter fraud. They were adamant that there would be no fraud in this county. They didn’t just brush off the question, they listed all the things that had been done to stop voter fraud. There is another county where there are all sorts of questionable things going on. I think it is Broward County. And these people said this is Polk County, not Broward.

I have heard from a retired Dade cop that Broward, as some other S. Florida areas, has a problem with prople getting dual residency in their ‘home’ state (read NY or NJ) and in Florida too, allowing them to vote twice. Add the usual motor voter/illegal and pure voter registration fraud and you gotta lotta possibilities. I wonder how many Rat registered voters in the God’s Waiting Room counties are between 100 and 150 years old?

Saville? LOL. He’s a human microcosm of what’s about to blow.

I should have mentioned: this is all related to the Email scandal that has the NYPD attacking the FBI, and 300 FBI resignations on Comey’s desk.

Read it all, you’ll see why.

I don’t know if the accusations are true or not but I look to the anecdotal information, Hillary is married to a sexual predator. Huma is married to a pervert. Hillman have been canoodling for decades but we are supposed be aghast if it is suggested that Hillary might be a vile pervert also 🤔.

If it looks, quacks and walks like a duck it just might be a duck.

That is my viewing point. There is a reason those people all stick together.

      Time will tell.

        1 Cor. 13:12
For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.

It’s like two-way glass between us and God.

You gotta put your face right up to it, improv your hands into visor, just to see in.

          Just for now.

Don’t mean to sound cynical but…wanna bet? People in this country with vested interests in keeping the power buffet open have large shovels to bury stuff. All they gotta do is keep it under the radar until wranglers can redirect the public’s interest. Oh crap, sounded cynical didn’t I?

This is looking more like having livestock producers blocked from getting bulk antibiotics that they may just wholesale heave into their flocks/herds/schools. My vet will give me a scrip with refills for my dogs or cats. Just had a conversation with him today about getting injectable ABs and/or steroids for the cat with the bladder problems.
ABs like penicillin are really cheap and government tests years ago to plan FEMA stockpiling showed that under ideal storage conditions most drugs had a much longer effective shelf life than the makers would want you to believe. You should still be able to get enough items for your home kits, just have the vet write the scrip and buy the items at the Walmart pharmacy. You can think using vet drugs for your home stashnor using people drugs forvyour homevstash – generally vet drugs that the same item as people drugs come off of the same line. E. g.: At about five cents a cap there’s not economic reason to have separate lines for people/animal penicillin.

    Surreal times.

And I think Sandy Hook was faked. The kids are all in some Clintonian dungeon. After performing at a football game and sitting on our president’s lap — oh, and all that? after being killed.
