John Kerry is in London. Perhaps he swung by the Ecuadorian Embassy.

This is how Wikileaks explained the Assange tweets. The long string of letter/numbers was a “file hash”.

A file hash is a randomly generated string of characters and numbers that can be used to identify a file. No two files will have the same hash, UNLESS they are exactly identical.

No two hashes will be the same unless the files are identical. In other words, Wikileaks is tweeting out proof that they have something, something important to whoever has the original files. What those files are however is impossible to tell.

They have a picture to illustrate the point but they drop the f bomb once so if Stella gives the go ahead I’ll post the picture.

Think of it as a copy certification/attestation by a notary. However this is not fool proof. If you alter the original before making a copy, then get the copy certification/attestation by a notary.
The file hash was generated at some point in time. We just don’t know what changes happened before then. There has to be a known staring point, otherwise the hash is meaningless.

That is what someone else said that the reason Assange/Wikileaks posted the file hash was so that the originator at Team Clinton could go back and check and see what specific emails are hanging like the sword of Damocles over their head.

It is a very pointed game of chicken, Assange, “You take away my internet and look what I release”.

The way it was explained to me is that it is not about Wikileaks proving to the world that the emails attached to these particular “hashes” are legitimate unaltered emails but it about proving to the originator just what damning emails Wiki is in possession of because the originator can with the help of a techie search and find the specific emails in question.

3 things were mentioned to give Team Clinton a clue UK FCO, Ecuador and John Kerry.

Is it a reasonable guess? Is it a guess?
The premise that they are going use a “techie search” to go through thousands of E-Mail (that may be deleted), export some likely candidates and run a hash utility that may not give the same result depending upon the E-Mail reader version/patch level used is a little much. All that just to find out they have the image of John Kerry in a BBQ apron and nothing else.
Even if it is being used to try intimidate in some fashion that I can’t see actually working. It doesn’t matter for the purpose of the election.

Responding here because there is more room. I just reread your posts and I don’t think these 3 tweets were about the election. I think Assange having his connection to his network has spooked him and he responded.

Assange’s internet access was cut off according to what is widely accepted as a legitimate Wikileaks source. The tweets were tagged as “commitment tweets” and people were trying to figure out what the sequence of numbers and letters meant that accompanied the tweets. People were asking if it was some kind of code.

It is not so much that the motivation of Assange or his people was explained but a reasonable scenario was put forth for the “file hashes”. So an educated guess was put forth.

The explanation of what the file hashes are came from Wikileaks. Wiki said that they were to assure that the file/email had not been altered.

Now the only person that would have any meaning for would be the originator of the email. Again it is my understanding that the hash files were not included to prove anything to the public but they were very specifically targeted to the originator(s). Do I believe that the original emails may have been deleted so they are moot hash files in that aspect? Possibly? Again I’m not computer savvy enough to know if that would thwart a person with computer skills from finding them anyhow.

I simply don’t have the knowledge to know if there are people or programs out there that can search by file hashes even if emails have been deleted.

It seems to me that not a lot of regular people had a clue about Bleach-bit before Hillary’s tech guys made it famous, it also seems to me that Hillary would employ people who are state of the art on their computer knowledge (especially now). For me I don’t know how feasible it is to use a hash file to find an email.

If I understand you correctly then a hash file might change just by transferring the material that was hacked from one computer to another?

Who gave me their educated guess? A thirty-three year old computer geek who answers my computer question while trying not to roll his eyes.

Sorry Nyet I’m really not trying to be obtuse I’m just trying to figure out why you seem to think it is an outlandish scenario since you obviously know computer technology inside and out and I appreciate your vast knowledge on the subject.

There are also issues with running a hash utility on a different computer than the one that generated the hash in the first place. Or different hash software.
If the file is an exported E-Mail message, and the hash is of an unaltered version, how are we supposed to prove the E-Mail is any more real than the accusations against Trump.

Rats and ‘BLM’ folks do NOT want black youths going to college and becoming educated, hard-working, successful property-accumulating potential Republicans. Work any US housing project for a period of time and see the generational timeline of ill-educated, dependent, violent thugs that control them. The residents have had a free treign and almost unlimited resources for over 50 years now, an almost 3-projecs-generations chance to work their ways out of the environment.
Let’s say that you dismiss the idea that these people want to be there, living a lesser standard but on someone else’s dime, and are just looking for a way out. That would mean their Rat owners who’ve shepherded them for over half a century must either be too weak to overcome the machination of a few racist blue-eyed political devils OR,,,,,the Rats are manipulating the situation to their own advantages.
Let’s face it, a fulminating herd of violent thug players in every major city, infecting every major housing project, is a handy tool to have when you need to threaten the regular residents and have them agree to your political agendas. Think about it, residents start to resist Rat pols for conservatives the Rats stir up their social misfits and have the media issue reports that the potential of conservatives cutting social programs is inciting unrest on the farm and only reelecting Rats who’ll see to the dependents’ needs can prevent a local Rwanda.

I survived the detectors and x-ray machines and the judge didn’t lock me up. lol

Everyone kept telling me even if they don’t excuse you, you won’t do anything today. Wrong!!!!
I got chosen for the panel that a trial was going to start today with jury selection. 40 minutes after trial was to start, judge comes in says defendant took a plea deal, was going to the state pen and we were all free to go.
They weren’t allowing anyone to be excused unless you were over the age of 70, was a judge, attorney, sheriff or deputy sheriff, active military or a felon. The pay now is $20/day, so I guess they have to force you. lol
One young mom I felt sorry for and defended to several people who didn’t like it that she had three children with her. Not everyone has a relative or babysitter handy and in my opinion she should have been excused. She certainly wasn’t going to hire a babysitter for 3 kids for $20. Some of these same people complaining couldn’t follow a simple rule of no cellphones after signing that they understood no cell phones, no I-pads or other electronic devices in the court room and after being told to turn off their cell phones. Young and old alike were too busy updating their FB status every two minutes, about 60% of them. About 80% wore t-shirts and/or shorts. One lady was in labor and they wouldn’t allow her to leave either.
We got to hear the President of the state bar give a very boring speech about us being the third branch of government. I wasn’t so sure the lady in labor wasn’t going to give birth before he was finished. lol

All of that and I still don’t get to serve on a jury. 🙂

I didn’t really mind doing it, if I had been chosen. I didn’t care for their basically telling you what you could wear, although I learned today they don’t enforce anything.
Very few people I think even read their summons, much less registered online. Not that it mattered I had to give the same information I already gave online. They couldn’t even enforce no phones, so not surprising they didn’t enforce their dress code.

I don’t even care about not being paid, but it does kind of chap my behind that some people are trying to keep a roof over their head and food on the table and can’t leave their jobs to serve when they barely even pay their gas to get there.

I’m still a little irked about the woman in labor and the mother with 3 small kids not being excused.

I kind of also took offense to the judge who basically said justice was conviction. I guess the head of the bar kind of countered that with justice is not convicting William Penn. lol

I’m more than a little disgusted at the majority of the people who sat in that room with me who couldn’t put their phones down for 5 minutes. No wonder kids don’t mind anymore, their parents and grandparents can’t understand if you sign a statement saying you understand no phones, that means no phones. Then they can’t follow a simple instruction, “turn off your phones!”

I couldn’t be a judge either, I don’t care what you wear as long as I can’t see your private body parts, but I’d be holding you in contempt and confiscating your phones.

They were previously Argyle Park, in the vein of Linkin Park and NIN. Demonic.

Then, like Kansas became A.D., the woke up and produce that album, and, I presume, went on to live productive Christian lives.

FOX News needs to hire O’Keefe to manage their investigative reporting dept.

If they even have such a department any more. Which I tend to doubt.

Remember when FOX was an actual news purveyor?

Remember when FOX was into actual investigative journalism, undercover or not?

          Good times.

Now they’re just the runt of the litter.

I just read over at Gab.ia that Sean Hannity played the O’Keefe tape. I believe Sean was in the tank for Cruz but unlike so many of his co-workers I believe Sean is all in for Trump and that Sean is more afraid of what a Clinton presidency would do to the country than he is about his own career.
