Really lady you want me to believe on an airplane in 1st class a man you’ve never met before suddenly is an octopus? I guess everyone around you just ignored it right?

I would be having my attorneys to send these women letters as well.

Anyone can read their accusations and see what nonsense they are. The sad thing is I don’t even think Hillary or the establishment had to pay them to do it. I think they’re so mentally ill and such big Hillary supporters they did it on their own. I would hope even Hillary would pay them and then coach them to have more believable stories.

If they’re true Rat females, the kind that are stupid enough to believe these outrageous stories and not just Rat females in name only, they were never voting for Trump anyway even if they were not voting for Hillary. They’ll still do the same and vote for one of the other idiots running.

agreed, they’d never have voted for Trump but they were also starting to be repulsed by Hellary and the Rat handlers had to find a way to make her appear less repulsive.

They’re just trying to make Rat females repulsed by Trump and leftish leaning independent women who have memories of uncomfortable encounters with males, especially pushy alpha males, slither to Hellary. At this point both Trump and Hellary have disapproval numbers that are individually high, so both have voters who think they’re slime but will vote for them.

Just finished reading that one as well and it’s just as laughable. I know it’s been said many times before, but liberals are mentally ill.

I watched Trump hold that little boy the other day and as a mother and now grandmother you come to know what people interact with kids and what people don’t by the way they hold a child. It was clear Trump had held children before and just because men are fathers and grandfathers doesn’t mean they interacted with their own young children and it’s always obvious.
That kind of man who is clearly one who interacts with babies and children isn’t a lonely man full of anger.

A Navy man walks into a bar. Sitting himself down, he tells the bartender…
“Quick, pour me a drink, before the trouble starts!”
The bartender pours a drink and watches as the man quickly downs it.
Putting the glass on the bar, the sailor says…
“Give me another drink before the trouble starts!”
The bartender pours another glass and the sailor drinks it as quickly as he had the first, before asking for another, again adding…
    “. . . before the trouble starts!”
After several rounds of this the bartender says…
“Look sailor, you’ve been in here ten minutes and you keep talking about trouble starting. Just when is this ‘trouble’ going to start?”
The sailor looks at the bartender and says…
“The trouble starts just as soon as you find out that I ain’t got any money.”

Entirely missed Wednesday. iPad went and automatically loaded an update, eating up the remaining gig of data allowance we had. We could buy an extra gig for $15 but we’d have to have used it by midnight tonite as the remainder would have been lost at midnight Wednesday when our new monthly base allowance would have loaded. Welcome to Verizon, the best of what 1995 has to offer…but then they’re it for WiFi out here. Top add the cherry the iPad update somehow drove it to square one, just as it was when we bought it and it doesn’t recognize the user id/password we set it up with.

  9. Cetera says:

Posted this over at the TreeHouse in a thread, in response to a poster wanting Jesus to hurry up and come back. I thought it was worth sharing over here too. It isn’t anything I didn’t say in the First Principles posts, but it came to me again, and I thought it was important.

Be stouthearted, and fear not. The Light of Christ permeates everything. It is a Light shining in the darkness. Like most light, though, it isn’t visible unless viewed directly from the source, or if it shines upon something. So go stand up, and let the Light shine on you. You don’t have to do anything other than show up, and the Light will be seen on you. You will be a beacon for those looking for the Light, and for those who needed to see the Light, even if they didn’t know it existed.

There is no power of darkness, no speed of darkness. There is merely light, and the absence of light. When things seem especially dark and fearful, remember the words of Samwise.

“It’s like in the great stories, Mr. Frodo. The ones that really mattered. Full of darkness and danger they were. And sometimes you didn’t want to know the end… because how could the end be happy? How could the world go back to the way it was when so much bad had happened? But in the end, it’s only a passing thing… this shadow. Even darkness must pass.”

“There, peeping among the cloud-wrack above a dark tor high up in the mountains, Sam saw a white star twinkle for a while. The beauty of it smote his heart, as he looked up out of the forsaken land, and hope returned to him. For like a shaft, clear and cold, the thought pierced him that in the end the Shadow was only a small and passing thing: there was light and high beauty for ever beyond its reach.”

Those are two separate passages, one from the Two Towers, and one from the Return of the King, but they work well together.

My husband went out and bought flannel material and made 8 identical blankets. LOL So, my son always had a clean blanket to carry around and I was so grateful. I wondered what they would do with my granddaughter. My son had said that wasn’t going to happen. She is about 15 mo. now, and when I was there, she didn’t carry a blanket at all. She doesn’t suck her thumb and sometimes will take the pacifier, but usually she just spits it out. I imagine by now they don’t even bother.

          • My daughter was born with a callous on her thumb from sucking it before she was born. I reckoned if she loved it that much, just don’t bother with a pacifier. She gave it up on her own accord at about 18 months and she had beautiful teeth. My family kept warning me she would need braces, but they were perfect. The only other habit she had was a blanket that she loved to rub the satin binding while that thumb was sucked.

I’ll go on record saying that I believe Flint’s water problem is not the fault of the Governor.

No, it’s the fault of Parliament and Funkadelic, et Communist al.

The ongoing cause of Flint’s problem is the same as Detroit’s problem and Benton Harbor’s problem, and none of these is the fault of whoever happens to be the Governor of the state in any given decade. Just Democrats, as always, acting like Democrats, corrupt and self-serving, and — ultimately — destructive of the lives who vote for them like slaves.

And I don’t. I have more puzzle pieces than most people I know, but my view of history’s tapestry (mixed metaphors rock!) is still woefully incomplete.

Is there a free online course that’s not SJW? Does anyone know?

It’s the same for all of us. Part of the problem is all the writing that was burnt during that 700 years. The largest libraries in the East and West were destroyed. The only things to survive are copies of texts used to teach reading and writing. All we have are copies from about 1200-1300. All the educated people were killed. Families that paid the fees to be left alone, were killed anyway after people in charge were replaced for various reasons.
Also, the way we think of books is from about 1300-1400. Before that it was wax on panels of wood Think of wood cigar boxes with writing on the inside. There is your birth certificate and citizenship records. And all these cigar boxes were kept in the hall of records. For a hefty bribe, you could have your citizenship record added or backdated and placed in the correct location in the record.
There were books that look like ours today, as well as printing presses. Just not movable type like todays (that we know of).

Speaking of movies, I finally got to see Hilary’s America. Spoiler Alert:

It is really slow for an action flick. Jean-Claude Van Damme isn’t Dinesh D’Souza’s stunt double in the Turkish prison shower room scene. The action finally picks up at the 106 minute mark.

BTW, Stella, awesome pic for the thread. As always.

Wish I were ambling down that road,
    …with a walking stick I found,
and whittled with a pocket knife
    a handle that was sound.

I used to do that a lot.

I walked across all five lakes at the Lynn Woods Preservation during that time. On solid ice, sometimes making ominous echoing cracking sounds. With a pound of something and everything in the Phish collection at the time, on cassette, and a Sony Walkman, a pouch of batteries, and a walking stick that I found and carved a handle out of anew, every day for a year.

    While reading books on philosophy.

    This one helped. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002DQUP6S/ref=nav_ya_signin?ie=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=NSXW3FYXFGG2DHM2JN91&

I always left the stick at the entrance gate. The next day it was always gone.

I was like the hippie Thoreau.

I can’t stand to listen to Phish now. It’s postmodernist, intentional Commie nonsense.

It’s Calder. It’s Springsteen’s Blinded by the Light.

It’s the Beatles’ Come Together. Nonsense and ugliness for the sake of replacing logic and beauty. Communist Goals, FTW!

After that hallucinogenic era of my life, I prefer music with actual meaning.

Not that into Jackson Pollock or Salvador Dali any more, either.

I asked a Deadhead at work a couple of years ago:

Q: What did the Deadhead say when he ran out of drugs?
      A: Man, this music SUCKS!

        Can’t stand the guy, politically.

His Greatest Hits: Vol 1 is my favorite album, ever.

I don’t like Vol. 2. Or anything else in his discography.

That one, I know by heart.

If I judged great music through a political lens, I would only listen to Ted Nugent.

And since he doesn’t innovate and evolve, I say, “meh.”

        He’s no Bon Iver.

I’m so glad some third world shithole has now taken over the innertubes. My reception is execrable, I can’t manage 3 or 4 windows at a time, and I’m so enlightened to know how stupid I am.
    Jus’ sayin’.

Has anyone talked to SD? Is it a little weird that he hasn’t posted anything all day?

Just wondering… not that I’m worried. He’s probably out cutting trees or some sh$&@&. We’ll be cleaning up here well east of me for months to come.

This’ll warm yer heart. BLM thugs get push back from cops, in of all places, Portlandia. I wouldn’t have believed it except for the video. Kinda funny how they back off when confronted with a little bit of force. It doesn’t take much when you’re not really down with the Shtruggle. 😆
