Whoops, almost forgot. A woman who owns the farm one farm over was clearing out a large, old windrow, readying it for burning, and a cougar ran out. There have been stories about one or two being sighted at a distance but this is a close-up first. I kniw we’ve got bobcats, you can see them and smell them, but that cougar might explain calves around here that have gone missing/been killed and why the coyotes seem to have relocated.
