Mashups are amazing when done right.
Open an old hymnal sometime. There’s a code at the top of each hymn, called Metre, that has to do with the number of syllables in each line and stanza. The theme to Gilligan’s Island and Amazing Grace can both be sung with either tune.
Try it.

For this morning’s PC piece, a Halloween costume released by Disney for kids and based upon the movie ‘Moana’ has been withdrawn. The body suit, based on The Rock’s Maui character, received complaints that it stole and denigrated Polynesian culture and (gasp) had a racially correct darker skin coloring that evil culture-stealing white folks would wear. After an unspecified number of complaints from Polynesian cultural guardians and bored white apologists Didney humbly apologized and withdrew the costume…in response hundreds of ‘trick or treat’ kids said “WTF?”.

Strange to me that, in light of China’s launch of its own space station last week, we’re hearing diddly from the candidates about going bsck to the moon. I can remember Kennedy’s speech where he gave the US the challenge to have a man on the moon by the end of the decade, now we seem to have abandoned space the Chinese.
The Chinese have made extraordinary strides in space over the last 20 years or so, largely due to the Clinton administration allowing US companies to wholesale dump our space/missile technology onto the Chinese maket…andcsteal it with impunity. Later administrations aren’t guilt-free either, China’s benefitted more from our technology than their own in building their space and ‘nuke the US’ capabilities.
Big problem with China going to the moon is that unlike the wussy US who basically claimed the moon for mankind China’s more or less indicated it plans on claiming territory for China. I always thought it a bit ironic that the US used cutting-edge technology to go to an orbiting hunk of rock and give it to the UN, an organization that still has people as members who worship it as a deity.
Anyway, China’s said it plans on militarizing space and the moon despite objections, and its new space station is a major step in that direction. China’s announced it isn’t interested in being a partner on the International Space Station and isn’t interested in having non-Chinese fliers on its station. There’s no doubt that, just like the Russians with Mir, China will use its station for military and espionage missions as well as a way station for its annexation of the moon.
Vote Hellary, she’ll bring some of our money back by selling more US technology to the Chinese. Of course she’ll run it through her accounts first…

The other quote which I believe was an original was Self control is a sign of the civilized.
I often wondered how many kids he set on a better path than they would have taken without his demanding teaching style.
He had a “D” row. D for dummies. Kids ended up there for misbehavior not academic stupidity. You had to work your way out with good behavior.
Some very successful people came out of the “D” row.
I do not recall a safe place in his room 🙄.
Imagine what would happen to the little SJW’s of today’s world if they were in his classroom. Actually imagine what would happen to him.

I figured something like that when theybstarted bugging me to change passwords and security questions. I don’t keep anything important in/on my email accounts, known for a long, long tome how vulnerable they are. I also change my passwords every couple of months and never store a credit card with a company. Live and learn.

Ok I watched it a bunch of times. It appears that the officer in the re shirt is standing over the gun for most of the time immediately after the shooting the other officer even motions him to stay there. The gun simply gets moved in chaos of the scene of a dying man and his crazy wife who should have and was likely perceived as a possible danger.

Tried it for two days and I saw a lot of links that were not true. I tried to set the record straight in a very nice way and got attacked from everyone else. I backed out. I still check it from time to time to see if there is anything new.

I just took a quick peak and saw a post that Ted Cruz just endorsed Trump. some of his followers are going ape.

I just saw that too (at lucianne). With the party talking about punishing Cruz, Kasich, and Bush by not supporting them in their future election bids, I think it was inevitable that Cruz would support him. He picked the Friday afternoon news dump period, I see.
