I’m assuming since I hadn’t see a post of his in awhile. He did go on a sabbatical once a year or so ago, but told everyone beforehand.
In everyday life or online, when other people misunderstand what is going on and try to upstage everyone for their own personal gratification, it takes the pleasure out of the original activity and you quit doing whatever it was.
In some cases, it leaves the group a parody of what it once was.
In the case of next door, it’s turned into something unrecognizable from a little over a year ago.

I’m watching the memorial service for 9/11. Tears streaming down my face for all we lost. For all who were lost.
Just reported that Hillary was there and left early due to a medical condition, a colleague of a Fox reporter said she fainted and they were headed to the hospital. It happened away from the press. Word has it that she fainted, stumbled nearly fell and was helped into her van by her SS detail.

Remember back when Trump called Frank Luntz a stupid fat pig and people even at the Tree House were moaning about it not being a nice thing to say? I was reading and posting then. I defended Trump and said simply everything Trump said about Luntz was true.
Luntz is fat, stupid and a pig. It was Luntz who brought about a public critique from Trump by his gluttony and his terrible behavior. Trump I said and still believe was not mean to point out the obvious.

I’ve watched and read everything I can find on it this morning. One twitter vid showed just a little of the head bobbling, and it looked to me very like the iced chai episode, not a seizure, but dyskinesia. I’m still going with Parkinson’s Disease, which also causes leg weakness, accounting for the knee buckling and stumble at the curb. Everything so far starts with her standing on the curb waiting for her motorcade, who did not expect her to leave early, surrounded by her security detail. Nothing about what caused her to feel the need to leave early. The campaign says she was overheated; one of the anchors says it is a warm day in New York, but not hot. She was taken to Chelsea’s apartment, not to a hospital, which says to me that they knew exactly what the problem was and that it is nothing new.

Here is another, much longer interview with Dr. Noel. He goes into great detail about Parkinson’s and Hillery’s symptoms, which fit it to a T. It is about a half hour long. He notes that his assessment of Parkinson’s is a conclusion, not a diagnosis. And also points out that Parkinson’s is diagnosed via observation and history; there is no diagnostic study for diagnosing it–not blood tests, not imaging studies (xray, CT, MRI). Unless new information comes to light that points to some other conclusion, I’m with Dr. Noel. I think he’s nailed it. He says in the end of this interview that PD is an absolute disqualification for the office of President.

Come on folks, al Qaeda didn’t fund its operation by selling loose cigarettes. We’ve known well before 911 that rich folks in the sand land Oil Countries funded AQ. They didn’t stop after any number of specific pre-911 events such as OBL’s long ‘death to America’ manifest, the bombing of two US embassies in Africa, the bombing of the Cole , nope, they knowingly kept on giving cash.
Had we not needed the Saidi oil and had we not invested so heavily in Saudi Arabia we’d probably have invaded them for their involvement in 911 before we did Iraq. You figure that one of the prime places so many of the Saudi royal family and other big wigs have chosen to use as a bugout site is the US and you know they have big friends here, especially in government. Makes you wonder just how dirty your feet have to be before we pull the welcome mat. Then again, those Saudi buggers could have bought Whitewater property.

Yeah, I know, but can she walk and chew gum at the same time 🤔. My guess is that she was administered some drug that steadied her for a bit but she still needed to make a quick appearance and move on.
In all honestly I have volunteered with the mentally ill and her stance reminded me of people who are unsteady in their reality. I do not think Hillary has a delusional mental illness but I do believe she is going to have a nervous breakdown.

You know, that thought has been in my mind. She may be becoming aware that her lies are not being believed. She may be seeing the writing on the wall, too. Her campaign is not going well. She screws up, Bill screws up, her lackeys are being found out. And, her health is failing and she still has all these wonderful plans to sell off more of the U.S. I wouldn’t be surprised if she had a total nervous breakdown.

Never in my wildest dreams would I have thought that a post about a priest who gave in life on 9/11 would have caused not one but two crap storms today. Menagerie, if you are reading here I am so sorry that your thread about Father Mychal was treated with such disrespect. He was servant of God lovingall as Christ calls us to love.
Do you know some of the Michaels in the NYFD changed their name to Mychal in his honor. I have nothing but tears for how the thread was treated and I only read the second thread not the first one.
Father Mychal was a beautiful soul. He knew he was going to die that day. He was good with God.
May God bless and keep him always for Father Mychal has been working as if the very soul of the world depends on it for the last 15 years.

It has been a day of it. I forget when it was, but back when the password posts were getting infrequent next door, someone misunderstood what that was for and drew a connection between the password and the PayPal button. For example, Gay marriage appears to be an issue of Civil rights – an end in and of itself. But actually to the hard left, it’s a an issue of Critical Theory and Social Justice. Not an end, but a tactic of attack against the foundations of the Republic.
Few republicans could explain what I just said. They just haven’t studied Marxist tactics enough to know. It’s filled with jargon, front groups, front issues.
So, no I don’t blame Trump for not knowing this. I think dozens of friends of mine on facebook could answer a quiz on the above topics better than EVERY elected republican in congress.
But whereas they all cave to it, Trump instinctively fights back. Not intellectually, but on a gut level that he’s on the right side.

It seems to me that arguing something intellectually that is based on a lie or falsehood of some type is a waste of time. So, I think Trump’s fighting back from the gut level makes sense to me. I am not very intellectual anyway, though.

Maybe this is of no interest to anyone, but I am still watching the Downton Abbey marathon and I noticed a guy who is supposed to be American who has this strange accent. I have noticed this on a couple of other shows when they have a British actor playing an American. It is a weird accent, which you would never hear in America. I guess I now know what the English think when they watch a movie with the American actors supposedly speaking with a British accent. LOL

I watched the first season of Sons of Anarchy because so many people sang its praises. I was not a fan as I thought they were all terrible people and didn’t care if they all died.
Anyhow I thought that Jax (Charlie Hunnam) had a very formal speaking style, very odd inflections and nuances to his speech. It turned out that he is Brit and he said in an interview that he felt like the first two seasons he did all his acting in his throat because he wasn’t comfortable with the American accent.
So, maybe just someone who is learning? I don’t know as I’ve never watched Dowton Abbey.

I have noticed this same accent on As Time Goes By and Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries. I think it is the American that is taught in the British (or maybe only one) acting school. Sometimes they actually use an American actor so you wouldn’t hear it. I just happened to notice the similarity in the accent that all these were using.

LOL Someone recommended Sons of Anarchy to me, too. I opted out. It is not good when you don’t care if the characters live or die. I had a problem with the Matrix, since I really didn’t care what happened to the guy who was running around being afraid and doing things. My son said I was snoring after the first 15 min. I went to see Tron with a friend who also complained about my snoring.
