Welcome to the modern world of situational ethics, where what’s sauce for the goose is not appropriate for the gander. Here are students-of-color demanding that they not be paired as roomies with white students, inagine the reverse. Can’t wait until they start demanding ‘people of color only’ drinking fountains and bathrooms.

It’s come to this: “terrorist attack training” for schoolchildren.

If this is part of what “France has to learn to live with terrorism” means, then it is complete capitulation. [cf, http://21stcenturywire.com/2016/07/15/french-pm-manuel-vas-we-must-learn-to-live-with-the-terror-like-israel/ ]

We’ve discussed the topic before. I referred to it as their Operation Himmler, false flag ops to create scenarios to their benefits just as Alinsky and Lenin did. The Left has launched its campaign to destroy the US as it is and has been, turning it into yet another People’s Utopia.
I know a number of LEA who deeply believe that Washington is instigating attacks on police, trying to seperate local police from the public it serves and replace them with a nationalized force. By whipping the malcontents into a fury so thst they’ll force LEA to respond and then chastising the policevfor doing so DC gets to have DoJ takevover and remodel their PDs – a Rat NOLA mayor got DoJ to take over NOPD and now Baltimore PD is getting Lynched.
This isn’t an election, it’s a thinly disguised coup.

      Morning WeeWeed 🙂

I just listened to this chat with Milo on the Alt-Right 😊

Two more points where the alt-right speaks my mind. It doesn’t pussyfoot around with looking for common ground with the devil and it calls idiocy out as idiocy. They refuse to be cowed by the question which is perpetually posed to them “When did you stop beating your wife?” instead they answer with a simple response “I reject the premise of your question.” and they go on to attack the idiocy and hypocrisy of the premise of the question.

The left and the establishment right has called Trump and his supporters misogynists, racists, bigots, neo-nazis, alarmists, xenophobic, homophobic, vulgararians, white supremacists, hateful, uneducated, dumb, unwashed masses, islamophobic, violence prone, trailer trash, along with a myriad of other insults for over a year now.

When Trump describes Frank Luntz as “a total stupid fat clown” because Luntz is exactly that, then those same hypocrites who have been hurling insults at Trump and his supporters, wipe their brows with silk hankies and wring their hands with indignation that this isn’t a campaign ending faux-pas for Trump and that his mean spirited dopey supporters don’t abandon him and embrace Hillary.

I sort of feel like we are the captives openly mocking the hostage takers because we know something that they don’t know. Long enough we have been held captive by the promises of the right and the accusations of the left.

Quoth the alt-right “nevermore”. We literally have nothing to lose.

We have learned again and again that the Clintons direct the narrative. So this photo has me scratching my head a bit. Why would TheBeast have SS park where she would be seen with her “too unsteady/unhealthy” to get into an SUV unassisted stool? Why would the vehicle not be equipped with a retractable step bar?

I can only come up one answer, Hillary’s health is as bad as it appears to be but she is hoping to let that distract from her money laundering Clinton Foundation and upcoming email release by Assange because those two things are going to be undeniably devastating. (Not to mention Huma’s terrorist ties and their commercial value to Trump.)

    That said.

Why would Hillary suddenly care about undeniably devastating information being released about her?

When has it ever mattered in the past. “What difference does it make”

The head of the FBI stood before the American people and said HRC is a deceitful, incompetent, techno challenged dullard who endangered the lives of Americans and made vulnerable classified information to the enemies of America and if she were not HRC there would be legal consequence to her actions.

    And it didn’t matter.

Something very deep and shaky is afoot in TheBeasts quest for history.

You know when you are trying to pronounce someones last name and you are not familiar with the name and it has some weird letter combinations or pronunciation that you are unsure of? That is how Hillary sounded every time she said alt-right, like she was relieved that she hopefully got it right. She has absolutely no idea what she is talking about when she says alt- right. HRC just used the phrase as a launching pad to attack Trump and call him names.

It seems to be a newer social collective term. So programing as a collective or group effort. They are trying to attract people who want their name known in that circle or power. Right there is where the DNC and their ilk will look for the future head of the department of technology.
It’s all smoke and mirrors now today regardless of how many hippies get thrown at something. The programming of applications on personal computers is not done like it was 20-30 years ago. It’s currently all within a existing frame work that doesn’t actually require any math or other skill set. The degrees are mostly worthless for performing any meaningful work. The course work as provided is to hedge bets of future product line sales. People will purchase what they know they can work with, even if it’s a horrible product.
      Ok. I went off topic.

hehe – back in my college days, hackathon = showing your coding/language skills by actually breaking the code or finding the vulnerabilities in a system.

It seems that this is the new hipster way to ‘promote’ tech job listings. You should apply and just build in a few backdoors. Maybe even upload a virus…

We hwd over a hundred ‘programmers’ at our USDA site just before 2000 and not one could do COBOL. Most of them – OK, 99.9% of them – were trained inhouse to string together lines of existing code, couldn’t program ‘program’ if their lives depended on it. Agency hired a 24/7 team from IBM to sit at the site to do any programming and monitor the system for problems for about six months and spent the next year puffing up their chests about how well the staff managed the millenium bug. No mention they bought themselves out, or about how over a hundred programmers sat on their thumbs while an expensive team” of pros did the work. Then again, thatnpasses as success in the Federal, world.

I learned Cobol and I’ve used it against my will quite a few times. Last couple of times was to plan a migration of old data on mainframe to a new system on micro computer (or in todays terms, server).

Back in the late 70s/early80s I worked at a hub on the DoD encryption net. We had a rather old mainframe, cannot remember the maker, but it had the old big tape drives, card readers, stack disc storage and a 128-line bar printer system. We punched the outgoing message traffic on a KSR-35 terminal that produced a paper copy and the outgoing message was cut on a long strip of 8-level tape. We had to hang the tape on a peg and the machine would read it at a whole buncha feet per second – sometime turning it into confetti in the process if the tape twisted or nound, making us start over from scratch.
One day we were told we had theee says off with pay as they were swapping out our system. We came back on Tuesday and there was a whole new IBM system that took up less than a quarter of the space. No migration of any data, all new, all shiny, all scheduled to be obsolete within 5 years.

FBI’s stingray quickly found suspect after local cops’ device couldn’t

    http://arstechnica.com/tech-policy/2016/08/to-find-suspect-city-cops-ran-stingray-for-hours-then-called-in-fbi/

OAKLAND, Calif.—According to new government affidavits filed earlier this week, the Oakland Police Department (OPD) used its stingray without a warrant in 2013 for several hours overnight as a way to locate a man accused of being involved in shooting a local police officer. The OPD called in the FBI when that effort was unsuccessful. The FBI was somehow able to locate the suspect in under an hour, and he surrendered to OPD officers.

The information on what the device is and does in theory is out there on the Internet. It just isn’t pointed to I assume. I also have heard people getting in trouble for pointing things out when other people don’t know what their looking for.

In a way it ties to what I wrote earlier; you have a general population of consumers that buy a microwave oven and can even program it to heat foods in creative ways the simulate cooking over a fire. Then you have a smaller number of people that can design and build a microwave oven based upon plans they are given, but they can’t boil water to save their lives. And finally you have very few people that are able to design and build the microwave to produce cooked food because they know what cooked food is supposed to look like in the first place.

The “stingray” is not doing anything magical. It’s just not doing anything the first group was aware could be done.
