Seriously, it looks as if an intruder attempted to enter the Ecuadorian Embassy in London, where Julian Assange has been given asylum.
Fans of Assange took to Twitter to suggest he may now be in danger inside the embassy.
One wrote: “Here we go. I hope Mr. Assange knows what he’s doing. Hope he leaves his information with others in case of an accident.”
Another said: “Somebody is definitely out for Assange. I really do hope Assange has some great intel for us once he’s done redacting.”
Some suspected American involvement.
One Twitter user wrote: “@wikileaks Maybe one of Hillary’s assassins? #saudimoney #neverhillary”
Another said: “@wikileaks attempted assassination you think?”

I don’t know what Assange has in his quiver but he has lived in the Ecuadorian Embassy in London for over 3 years for a reason, it could be to avoid deportation and jail, or it could be that he doesn’t think he’ll live long enough to make it to trial. What is keeping him there?

Technically not the that difficult of a building to keep an eye on. And it is pretty exposed to the view of people in the street, the chap must have been climbing one of the two less exposed sides.
It would take a skilled urban climber to scale this place.
And if I want to put on my tinfoil hat I could draw attention to the timing. Who might have Assange’s back, who might he have entrust access to the information that he has if Assange did meet an untimely death? Perhaps the lawyer who was mashed by a train? Now if someone thinks the unfortunate train mashed lawyer was the only person with access to Assange’s cyber safety deposit box then time would be of essence. <<<Just a thought.

A few rooms on the 1st floor, lower lefthand side of that building. Note the flag, it’s the Columbian embassy, Ecuador rents a space. Maybe if Ecuador exported as much drugs to the US as Columbia does they could afford pricey London digs.

Clumbia and Ecuador more or less share a flag – maybe they’re sharing Assange. Might he have downloaded some embarrassing information regarding the relationship twixt Columbian drug lords, the Columbian government and members of the US government? The Columbians upstairs ask the Ecuadorians downstairs to work as a cutout and hide him so he’s effectively quashed…the Columbian version of the Mexican standoff.
I have problems with believing the Ecuadorians having to work around him on a daily basis in their confined spaces, might they have given him sanctuary but the Columbians have given him lodging?

I wonder if he was “caught” on security camera and set off an alarm. Exact time is what made me think that.

Whole thing’s a bit off to me. If the US were to authorize wet op against Assange you’d think they would have come up with a better plan than scaling the wall. If anything were to happen to him the US would be the first one anyone would suspect so why validate their suspicions by sending in some Bourne wannabe they found on Craigslist?
If I were Assange I’d sweat Hillary getting into office and her cleanup crew coming after me.

I think what is off is that it is much ado about nothing. Thanks to Nyet I know that the Ecuadorian Embassy is on the ground floor (not even the entire ground floor it actually shares the space 🙄) no need for anyone to scale a wall to get to Assange.

Yeah, some things are worth causing a major diplomatic incident over some aren’t. The beans have been spilled and, as has been mentioned, if he’s smart enough to have done all he’s done he most certainly has a poison pill buried somewhere.
To risk an incident for revenge alone, even if he were totally unprotected, doesn’t sem plausible, especially with Obama in the WH and all of the good stuff the Wikileak papers have given his cause. Then we have State who doesn’t even have the cajones to call ISIS on its badvtable manners, can’t see them signing off on this.

Lovely, the Ecuadorian Embassy is on the first floor of the building. The picture you posted even has the flag on it’s little balcony to the left. Not much skill needed.
Security slipped up and left widows and the balcony door unlocked. At 2-3am it’s more likely some drunk came in thinking it was their building.

So it could have been any mope if the embassy is on the first floor. Forgive my ignorance. And if the building’s other floors are all occupied by different entities it seems that if Clinton wanted Assange to drop a barbell on his throat he would have already done so by now.

The Ambassador’s residence is usually elsewhere. An embassy under normal circumstances normally has a 24 hour guard on site, and maybe a medical suite of some sort. Assange being there most likely is a pain in the butt for everyone involved. I’d picture his stay more like the 2004 movie “The Terminal”.

And another thought. If intruder was seen/caught scaling the embassy walls, how the heck did they not capture him? Security had the advantage, the guy is on the building he had to scale down or climb up, how could a greeting party not be waiting for him?
Did a pedestrian spy him and start shouting and he climbed down and escaped before security was alerted? Did he climb up and leap from building to building and disappear into thin air in a Jason Bourne like feat?
Something isn’t right about the story.

I was just reading the thread next door regarding this. Do people not know that Assange is just another opportunistic leftist thief, that just happened to mung himself like so many opportunistic leftist thieves do. The left idolize him, so that should be a big indicator the guy may not be the hero of transparency as portrayed.
On the other hand, if anything about the US wanting him out of revenge was true, I would fear jail as well. I’m sure once in solitary confinement, he would go on suicide watch and demand a government provided sex change operation.

Just tell them what you told me, that it is ridiculous to think that the person scaling the building, which just happens to be home to the Ecuadorian Embassy which only takes up part of the ground floor of the building has anything to do with an assassination attempt by the Clintons on Assange.
I’m sure it will go over well 😎.
As to convincing them that Assange is not a folk hero or the secret son of Trump doing god’s work, you’re n you’re own 😏.

The whole security detection question had me laughing. The guards were probably watching Univision in that office and heard a noise at the window. A turn of the head and, “Hey! What are you doing?!?” is probably what counts as confronting the suspect. The guy was probably over the railing at the front steps and down the street before they got to the front door open.

I’ll take it with a grain of salt but I also did a bit of reading. There are a hundreds of easier ways to get to Assange other than scaling the building. The Clintons may be bold but they are not dumb.
There is nothing that leads me to think climber was in anyway connected to Assange.
As to Assange character and intent, I think he would sell his soul to just about anyone in order to walk freely on some grass feel the sun on his face and leave the embassy.
Assange damaged America, he intended to damage America, will he use what he has to damage Hillary? Who knows? Assange has been in the Ecuadorian Embassy for over 4 years (?) I thought it was just over 3.
I personally wonder how much information Assange has access to other than a safety net. How would he access it? Does Ecuador not monitor his cyber trail? Who else is in that huge building. I’m sure that Uncle Obama knows every keystroke Assange makes.

Ahhhhh…Trump’s becoming a politician. He hasn’t changed his position on the deportation of millions of illegal immigrants, he’s softened, clarified, adjusted to existing realities, evolved as a spokesman for immigration reform. Anything but flip-flopped. Any cases of apoplexy ‘next door’, I’m afraid to check?
